Would be curious to see what it looks like with some bar or rope lighting underneath to make the different colours pop in a darker room. But that's just the RGB gamer curiosity in me.
I think leave them with the crazy city looking style and then make a plexiglass box to house it in back light or point light facing the wood like in the corner of the box at the top. Maybe throw a river or two with some green for the NYC parks and I think that would be epic table build. Probably too much effort for how easily that plexiglass will age.
Back to your comment saying that it looks like a city block.. it sounds like a good idea printing out a large map off Google maps and using it as a template for the wood blocks!
It was a lot! I would probably say between 2-3 gallons of epoxy in total. Maybe a bit more! I had to re-order more about half way through.Thanks for watching!
