  • In this video I build a standing desk made from the scrap wood of many jobs I have completed over the last 5 years. Almost all of which were made entirely from pallet wood!

    Top is so interesting that I wish you would do a longer, slower view of the final top. Visual candy.

    Mate you gotta put those safety glasses on BEFORE you start using the dull chainsaw! 😁
    As usual, what a fantastic piece. Would be curious to see what it looks like with some bar or rope lighting underneath to make the different colours pop in a darker room. But that's just the RGB gamer curiosity in me.

    I think leave them with the crazy city looking style and then make a plexiglass box to house it in back light or point light facing the wood like in the corner of the box at the top. Maybe throw a river or two with some green for the NYC parks and I think that would be epic table build. Probably too much effort for how easily that plexiglass will age.

    That is some next level pallet wood recycling!
    How much epoxy did it end up taking if you don't mind saying?

    • @treecycled
      @treecycled  9 месяцев назад +1

      It was a lot! I would probably say between 2-3 gallons of epoxy in total. Maybe a bit more! I had to re-order more about half way through.Thanks for watching!

    Back to your comment saying that it looks like a city block.. it sounds like a good idea printing out a large map off Google maps and using it as a template for the wood blocks!
