As an American I found Richard when I came was suffering from night 3 of insomnia and found the IT Crowd on Netflix. After binge watching it, I followed him to cats does countdown, which I’ve also binge watched and then I found gadget ma et al. He is a treasure that not nearly enough American’s know about!
He has some guest appearances on the Mighty Boosh! Which I have come to love as it's so far removed from reality and the every day downers of life that you can watch it to escape and laugh and shake your head... I hope you check it out and enjoy it as much as I do! They have some for free on RUclips, but I ended up buying all the seasons on prime, but later I found out if you have itunes you can get all the episodes for something like $19.99 totally worth it to experience the colors and the music the way they should be!
Richard is a director too tho. He has directed the Submarine and The double. Both of which are excellent. You can try these out if you want to broaden your Richard Ayode horizon.

In Mexico we have something similar called menudo, though it's made with cows stomach instead of goat. I don't like it but eat a bowl of that and you'll sleep your hangover away.

if he settled for 800 he was trying to rip you off at least 800 by charging 1600 and was really ripping you off somewhere round 1585 but you talked him down so you only got ripped off ~785 euros. nice.
Columbus is pointing to his intended destination not the direction he was going. He was going the "other way" to India.

Barcelona is the best city in the world. I've been to the top of both the Columbus monument and the Sant Anthony church. Absolutely incredible. Mad to think i've been to basically all of these places.
Normally I find Richard’s sneering a bit too unkind and overprivileged, as I’d love to be able to visit everywhere he has been - even though I’ve been to many of the cities I couldn’t afford to go in the types of venues in the programme.
However… he’s right about football, and especially those clubs with an extremely inflated sense of self-importance.
The only thing more boring than football museum is Iceland. Or vice versa.
