Things I didn't know before this video: 1. The Exploding Thorn barrier stays in place just before it explodes. I thought it followed until it exploded no matter what, so I kept trying to air dodge or reflect to avoid it. 2. You can glide out of the reach of his scythe when he performs his ultimate move. I kept trying to Dodge Sprint, Dodge Roll, and Reflect to avoid it, but still would get hit. This knowledge will help me the next time I face him
Heres a tip: If he uses his vacuum move, if you want to deal something like 1 - 2 bars of damage, guard once. If you want to restore your counter, guard twice. Dont Worry, you have invincibility frames from the first guard that lets you not get hit by his finisher that usually sends you flying.

Late, but Mysterious Figure/Young Xehanort in Birth by Sleep uses it, except his is a button-mash to remove (the countdown depends on your distance from him, 5 max).
When i first saw marluxia, not only did i mispronounce his name, but i also thought he was a girl. I was very surprised when i heard his voice for the first time.
I dont understand why people thought he was a girl. Just because he has long pink hair? Your all blind, physically and figuratively. He would be a very masculine girl if he was. I never thought for a second he was a girl. Who knows, it might be because all my friends are femguys for some reason XD.

He's wielding a weapon that's not even suitable for actual combat nor even made for combat. The scythe, while looking threatening, is a terrible weapon to use in combat. Unless you're Marluxia. Or at least a scythe of that design.

BTW, about that thorn attack that surrounds you before exploding (which can kill you if you don't have second chance) You can use Reflect when it explodes and take no damage
+Eduardo Salgado at 0:29 he whispers something to Sora that make the 80 appear over his head, indicating how many hits Sora can take before he dies. There are a few attacks that does legit damage though.
You mean Sora? It's a unique mechanic. See the number floating above Sora's head? That's the no. of hits he can take from Marluxia. If Marluxia hits him when the counter is 0, game over even if you are in full health. You can restore the counter via reaction command.
Eduardo Salgado because the hits are gonna make the numbers count down their not meant to damage sora's health if you saw that number countdown it means he's taking damage

I beat him with like 3 left on the countdown. Needless to say I was swimming in my own sweat by then*
