Thing with INTJs is that they all look pissed, or angry, or annoyed, or with a "do not look nor talk to me" face, but the moment they speak to you they are REALLY cool, chill and nice guys hahahah
@@lucymooon Lack of Fe in the functional stack, coupled with dominate Ni and Te after. The INTJ cares for authenticity in any socialization that takes place, and does not invest energy into performing. Instead, the disposition of an INTJ is internally focused, where facial muscles don't play a part, sort of a realm of thought and creativity. As an INTJ, I may have a distant disposition, but I'm hardly ever pissed, unless I witness blatant idiocy, and I mean *real* stupidity.
@@dr.strangelove9815 interesting thanks, I have Te and sometimes have RBF (not INTJ level). Other times my face can be really engaged or animated - only when I actually feel that. Maybe because of having Fi and a lead extroverted function.
@@lucymooon actually, some people furrow their brows (leads to stronger corrugator muscles in the brows and thus frown lines between the browns, sometimes called glabella 11's) and also, many will purse their lips while deep in thought, which often leads to a strengthening of certain muscles around the mouth to create downturned lip corners. Both are from deep thought and subjectively make one appear less open or friendly. Botox resolves both. Sincerely, INTJ who works in the medspa industry
They are so respectful to each other, when someone talks the rest of INTJ mute their mic to hear it. Even if they didn't mute it they still didn't interrupt. as an INTJ myself I would do the same thing
I know right?? As an INTJ, I hate when I got interrupted, which is why I shut up when others are talking. I respect other's opinion just as I want people to respect mine, and I can see they're doing the same respectful thing. This utterly underrated kind of thing is never (if not rarely) mentioned in the INTJ type description.
@@JoyceMeng22 We low key understand people, but rarely ever the other way around, which makes a lot of INTJs feel out of place/like aliens most of the time.
It is cool! My INTP friend told me to butt in with my thoughts when he's talking though because my thought may not be relevant later. But he will respectfully listen to me and not interrupt and if he does he asks if he will interject. Interesting how types operate differently. My ENTJ friend hates interruptions because he has ADD and gets distracted. Sometimes I'm like that too. Or if a distraction happens in the surrounded environment.
As an INTJ I totally agree. I don't like a leadership role but when the current leadership fails, I raise to do something about it and take up the position if that's the only alternative to reduce chaos.
Im the opposite, i like to see people fail. I dont brag and tell them "i told u so" either. I Just work on my own stuff. If i spelt opposite wrong, pls tell me. Im dyslexic.
I do that too. Sometimes I challenge my boss because I see him underperforming. Loosing my job because I rise above him is a secondary concern. I think they see that my intention is not to belittle them but to help them see a different perspective and to elevate my team as well.
Im a great Follower, Almost TOO good to the Notes or lack of notes left. We tend to know the general structure of anything relevant and when the obvious failure of modern leadership falls apart, We tend to stand in and lead even when we dont want to at all... Just to simply get past it
As an INTJ 1. I like to work by myself. 2. I enjoy my social events but only on my time. 3. I enjoy my personal hobbies. 4. I have a problem of letting loose.
INTJ here. I've learned the easiest and best thing is when someone gives you a compliment, just say "Thank you". And take in the good feeling and hold it inside you for a moment. It feels really good.
... and it’s way less awkward than just being quiet or telling them you don’t like compliments. I used to do that, and it felt awkward. I was just wishing they wouldn’t say anything, but people just people.
I want to apply this. Recently I got feed back on an essay form two different people. One said it looked great and I was yaaaaay unenthusiastically in my mind. But the second criticized an entire section. Of my essay and I started cursing at myself for not figuring that out earlier. But I was appreciative of the feedback. It's so frustrating cause I don't win. Until it's submitted I. DON'T. WIN.
I'm ENFP and I choose to stay away from giving compliments. Compliments are somewhat like judging the other person (positive or negative judgment, it stays a judgment). I prefer mentioning how I feel or which need I have that is being met when that other person does a specific thing I appreciate. If I somewhat accidentally make a compliment and the "receiver" says Thanks, I think to myself "what's that about ; saying thanks ? ". When someone gives me a compliment, I might just answer by "cool !" while moving my head in a "I hear you" way, kind of acknowledge their experience. Or I'll ask the person to be more precise with their feelings and what it is exactly that I did that "turn them on". Anyway... all that to partly say that if someone doesn't say anything to a compliment, it can actually be the "right thing" to do as well. You might just "click" more with that other person that way ! Anyway, thanks for sharing ! Peace !
“I used to analyze myself down to the last thread, used to compare myself with others, recalled all the smallest glances, smiles and words of those to whom I’d tried to be frank, interpreted everything in a bad light, laughed viciously at my attempts ‘to be like the rest’ -and suddenly, in the midst of my laughing, I’d give way to sadness, fall into ludicrous despondency and once again start the whole process all over again - in short, I went round and round like a squirrel on a wheel.” ― Fyodor Dostoevsky, Crime and Punishment I am so proud to be represented by such, smart interesting young people. Te-rrific presentation.
@@jayrun4341 Have you read this novel yet? I copied this as a primer in case anyone reads our comments. This book was the first time I realized that people write in metaphors which had meaning to me. " In Crime and Punishment, Dostoevsky examines the deeply held thoughts and feelings of a character, Rodion Raskolnikov. These thoughts and feelings illustrate the problems of finding meaning in existence, a problem at the core of a philosophy that came to be known as existentialism. Raskolnikov strives to answer the fundamental questions of existentialism. Dostoevsky puts them this way: What good was life to him? What prospects did he have? What did he have to strive for? Was he to live merely in order to exist?" copied from study dot you know. This really is a Te-rriFi-c read.
@@wynstansmom829 I have, it was a few years ago and it was my first classic- unfortunately I regret reading it because I didn’t fully comprehend or relate to the novel back then, nevertheless, the impression it left me was so strong, that it is also very special to me personally, either way I’m considering re-reading it since I have forgotten most of the novel’s content and want to understand and experience the metaphors, meaning and overall brilliance of the novel that I missed before. Haha and yes I’m sure it will be a Te-rrific read (even if it’s my second) and thank you for your comment, the quote of the novel really resonated with me.
As a younger INTJ, I very much enjoyed hearing other INTJs talking about being INTJs I haven’t felt so related to maybe like ever, thank y’all so much for doing this it’s such a gem. Also those garden hoses are everywhere
INTJs are probably always portrayed as villains because most Hollywood movies are told from an ESFP point of view. INTJ is the opposite type to ESFP, and so it's not surprising that the INTJ would appear "dark" and "evil" from that point of view.
So often in stories, the hero is someone who is learning along the way, and often having to improvise, and for me, that's not something I do well. Usually it's the villain who has the master plan that must be thwarted, which is more our thing.
I often see in stories in general that infps are the good guys and entjs are the bad guys which is funny because they are usually a couple in real life
As an INTJ 5w4 myself, I gotta say, I enjoyed the heck out of this. I wasn't really paying attention until I heard three of you say 5w4 ... Shout out to my fellow iconoclasts.
As an INTJ this is one time I wish I was in on the conversation. On the pet peeves question. My biggest one is people that use emotional arguments and gas-lighting that has zero basis in logic. These arguments are often even hypocritical. One of my favorite quotes is "Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." -Mark Twain. When I encounter an "idiot" I just walk away, and make a mental not that they're not worth my time. It's not that I can't understand their emotion, but emotion is just data. It isn't always reasonable or right. Just because you're mad doesn't mean you're justified in being mad. Just because you're offended, doesn't mean the offender was offensive. Sometimes.... it's an irrational world view to blame, or unrealistic expectations. Manage your own expectations, and check your own emotions to see if they're actually justified before you put that on an INTJ, or they just won't care. Per Melissa's comment about being interrupted while in the zone... I feel that so hard. I'm a cook, and when we get busy and I'm popping off and sending food out wicked fast.... don't talk to me. Ring up a ticket and it will get done. I get offended on an emotional level when my flow gets interrupted. I realize it isn't rational, so I do my best to not blow up on people. But some servers are quite rude when asking for things.
I think it is important to understand and make room for people's feelings. Sometimes I KNOW my anger isn't rational, but that doesn't mean that I can just switch it off, and maybe I need some space, or just an acknowledgement that my feelings matter. I can appreciate anyone else's argument when they present it in a way that respects my feelings and when they give me space to process it and come back to it. I don't think other people's feelings are my problem, but my behavior and words are my responsibility, and there are few good reasons to hurt someone's feelings. Not trying to argue HERE just offering a different perspective.
@@rachelk4805 You're entitled to your perspective and your emotions, as a human we all are. However, I am not obligated to accommodate them, especially when they infringe on mine. INTJ's have a very short social battery life, and we only have enough "juice" to accommodate those closest to us. As far as most of us are concerned, if you are "offended" by something we say or do... that's for you to deal with.
@@rachelk4805 this is me when I'm feeling negative Emotions. I just get frustrated and stressed and end up crying. I literally had to explain to my math teacher today that my crying was an involuntary response. I logically feel fine but my emotions go at the slightest thing
Am I the only one who thinks that intjs tend to appear hard and focused but also sleek and graceful? Like, there is a part of every intj that is super pretty and romantic? Idk, I think I just have a thing for intjs....
@@sofiael7350 I've seen glimpses of it as an enfp trying to get close to my intj crush. Whenever someone describes beauty, power or intelligence, I immediately imagine her. Am so glad to see INTJ that are involved in music and creative projects mainly because every video I have seen representing us mainly project us as scientist.
It had been so long since I had watched a video without skipping, it's so good to finally listen to people get straight to the point while having an interesting conversation. It's true that digressions can be interesting and bring new ideas to the table but as an INTJ I still have little patience for it...
I can't even read these guys from face and how exactly they are feeling but their mind is heavily engaged is what I know because I'm also an INTJ. Very cool, calm, collected and grounded you guys.
The way Melissa has turned her INTJ skills and power toward the acknowledgement and appreciation of human potential is a truly beautiful thing. As a mother I understand the study, understanding , and optimization of the talents of my children. It's helped me appreciate the uniqueness and beauty of others.
“Giving forth too much energy and then later on having to deal with the consequences of it, from other people who think I’m their beat friend” I died. Laughed out loud so hard!! 💯
I remember one time when I went to another department and the secretary told me, "When I saw you walking and you're approaching our office, I got nervous. I know you want something from me." And I smile because, I do need something for my annual report and well, I don't usually say how are you. I just go and talk directly what I want. Since that, I soften my approach to her but not automatically to everyone. Another person is another story and another day. The whole day when that happened, I thought to myself how much I stayed in the office without bothering to socialize and I don't add them in social media. I let them add me and think first whether I should accept or not. In life, it is either all or nothing.
I'm a little late to this fantastic INTJ party but I am very glad it RUclips knows my viewing habits. I'm a big fan of LiJo and AsuraPsych and this video was so refreshing to hear my thoughts and way of life verbalized by other people. I was just as engaged and I related to pretty much every single topic. The pet peves were on point and aligned with many of mine as well as other perceptions of the INTJs. I really enjoyed hearing so many people speak the language I think in every single day. I especially appreciated the advise for younger INTJs and some things that have been on my mind were voiced there. I think that working on my demons (Fi/Se) is a really great way to be a better and more well rounded person. I knew I needed to learn how to talk to people so I took a very SF related job (as my first one) which has given me so many opportunities because I've connected to people on a level I didn't know I, personally, could. I also think a more about the things that scare me and decide to do it because I know I need the experience. The one thing that did make my skin crawl was the actual act of dating even if I know it isn't going to work out. Leaving my house takes a lot of energy for me personally and it takes a lot to just go out with some friends. However I do see the need for the experience and accept the advise from these wonderful INTJs. :) ... (another INTJ)
Thank you so much for this - my whole life is finally starting to make sense! Control was a big YES when you started talking about that - I used to think i had ocd because i have to have a certain amount of things, no more and no less of the chosen number, i like to eat the same foods, wear the same things - but i'm realising that I do that because I can't control people and the real world, but what i can control is my world and my routine. I was doing this without realising why!
omg I can EXTREMELY relate to that, I often declutter my home because I hate having things I don't need or I'm trying to minimize the things I use, and so much more ocd kind of things hahaha
Did you notice that when someone is talking Joyce Meng is always nodding with her head and all INTJs just listen and do nothing with their posture, of course, they do all the work in their heads? I can see the "wheels rolling" entirely clearly. I also like Micheal's comment about villain characters, I think I exactly know what he was talking about, I really like to observe the bad characters or tackle them like a puzzle or in some cases I even forgive the character for all the bad that he or she have had done because of all the bad things they have had to go through.
From experience, this is more of a facilitator/facilitatee thing than an INTJ vs not thing. When facilitating meetings and leading the discussion as an INTJ I have picked up the same technique of nodding to encourage the humans to speak - I do not do this when I am participant, however. Also it may be a cultural thing. I am Japanese, in our conversations it is considered downright rude to not show the sign of listening like nodding head, no matter how INTJ we all do this. I do not know the cultural background of anyone here in the video so I cannot say for sure, but it is a possibility. So, these above are two reasons it is likely not an MBTI thing.
This is awesome! Getting people of the exact same type together is so fascinating. This helps me learn about my opposite more as well, million times better than just reading about them 😆
I'm glad this panel is helping you understand your opposite type better! Yes, hearing it from the source is so much more powerful than just reading about the type. :)
Seeing the thumbnail and the title... Whoa! You know that feeling/vibe of UH OH! Can you feel that? Like a strong intimidating power is being emitted in the room. Such authoritative and diplomatic aura! Haha.. im an intj, who hasnt been in a room or zoom mtg with fellow intjs. So this is how it is, how it feels. The stares. Now i understand why ppl always hush once i entered the room. Stiff, cold, serious but slowly getting warmer, interesting, comfy, intellectually stimulating/engaging. Ahhh.. thank u for this. This is great vid! 👍👍👍👍👍
The 1000 yard INTJ stare is quite fascinating to see and a very real phenomenon. Thanks for checking out this video; I'm happy you enjoyed watching! :)
Front teeth smile, large stretch like grin sort of smile, goes back to straight relaxed no drama face within 1 second, I can so relate to this, I'm not the only one after all, i have never met another INTJ in real life!
My INTJ nephew has a deep love for dogs. Any time I have seen him around a dog he just lights up. I totally agree with Jasper that the robotic nature of an INTJ is missing the mark.
I’m learning about my personality I’m 45 minutes in and I’ve said wow about 20 times. I’ve tested as INTJ and wild to feel understood, especially being married to an ENFJ
As an ENFP, I’ve learned very valuable lessons from this. I guess that’s why I love INTJ so much, they help to bring clarity to my thoughts by communicating to my Te. They have helped me so much. I know you INTJs usually have a hard time being in the spotlight or receiving compliments...but you guys are the best. ❤️
@@JoyceMeng22 I think Ali Abdaal and Thomas Frank are well developed ENTPs but they aren't (at least on RUclips) associated with the type communities, so I don't know whether they will agree or not? But it'd be awesome if you can get them to appear. As an ENTP my self, I can see how both guys are ENT type, very P but with very developed Ti, they push themselves to success by incorporating structures based on Fe (YT community) accountability to their lives. They admit they struggle with Te (Ali with 'complete wasteman' rant and Thomas with Twitter-punishment mechanism set up as daily alarm), in contrast to the INTJs in this video who embrace timeline and Te (I've also been following LiJo and Asura work for a year). Back to Ali and Thomas as ENTPs, they seemed warm and bubbly on their videos but cold and a bit distant (Ti auxilliary) whenever they do a 'serious/T-type' video with/interacting with other people (Ali with Khe and Thomas with Matt) so I can see their default NT vibes. Great work Joyce, looking forward to ENTP videos
I love how very civilized this discussion is, I mean you don't see any of them talking over the other. We INTJ's are naturally great listeners, unlike other types. I'd like to say that it is very soothing to see that in a discussion video.
Yess - INTJs are great at not talking over each other and engineering a Te environment where that won't happen in the first place (Etc. muting their microphones and being in a quiet environment beforehand)!
Yah it has to do with the microphone also, when a person unmute their microphone, others know that that person is about to talk. For Chris, it’s when he pull the mic down.
Something I would have loved to learn at a much earlier age, as an INTJ, as well as something I'd like to put out there as a possibility, is that this idea that I had about energy being a limited source is not as accurate as I thought. We tend to pick things that are "worth the energy" and not do things that are not (unless we also have FI reasons to do the thing---mostly mine stem from "because it is the right thing to do"). I found that there is a source of energy to do things I would have thought were draining (mostly SE, like ... insert concrete example here that I can't think of). Essentially, I found out how to "just do" those things anyway and come out the other end either feeling exhausted or not. Most of the time, even if I am exhausted, I can still choose to do another thing that I would have considered draining. I have been able turn this into a pattern and apply it to so many situations. It is how I get out of the planning phase and start doing, even when I haven't fully thought out what paths to take to make it to the goal. Anyway, I'm don't word good. Hope that made sense and contributed to the conversation.
Hey! I know it's been a while since you wrote this comment, but I'd love to know more about how you learned to do this. It's something I'd love to develop in myself. -INFP
13:50 melissa, you just touched my heart💕 i wish i had teachers like you! intjs are really amazing, all of you are joyce you're also a behind the scenes hero who made us realize how amazing each type can be if they were given the chance to talk freely. thanks a lot! 🤗
i love that when asked about their pet peeves, they weren't immediately pet peeves about humans or human behavior that they found irritating, but rather, about processes, things and systems that either harmed people, or weren't optimized for efficient or intuitive usage.
I'm just glad you put yourself out there Joyce. Setting your channel up certainly create worlds of difference in my perspective as an INTJ myself. Your "Ti" shines through like Nate of Love Who (woah that sounded like a poem) and the clarity you present abstractions always hit the mark. I know LiJo and AP from watching OP, and Michael from your previous videos. Also nice to hear from your classmates Melissa and Jasper. More power to your channel.
OMG. Jasper is so relatable and says the things I was thinking about. His approach to Se is exactly how I always do, music, trampoline parks, everything.
No mention of Batman as the quintessential INTJ hero? In re: control, I have seen a study that said INTJ's almost invariably answer the question, "What part would you want to play in the production of a movie?" with "Director." In re: untriggerable. That seems less like a healthy INTJ and more like the perfectionism INTJ's famously strive for. I'm not sure the calmest Buddhist priest can ever be completely untriggerable. In re: leadership. I prefer to be in charge. I definitely want gatekeepers around to keep the rabble away, but I want final authority, I want the crown and throne. Another difference for me, I like getting compliments and I love getting awards.
19:20 thank you Lindsay. You put the Te into my Ni. I understand now why I don't want to create a company or products. It's because it's a group project between me and the customers and they're interfering with my vision and creative process.
Totally relate to AsuraPsych being the right hand to the one in charge is the perfect position for me, as an INTJ, to be most effective. We can appreciate the big plan and effectively diagnose inefficiencies with a quick review. Developing quality systems just comes naturally.
INTJ here! I might be a little different but I don’t mind compliments even in public settings but it’s not necessary and I do feel a little uncomfortable in public. What I don’t like is phony or fake “participation” awards and I don’t want to be a part of that. Private or public compliments are not necessary but I don’t usually mind it and I have learned to accept it because of learning that accepting compliments is important to learn and grow. Give/accept relationships, in forms as compliments as well, is good for life’s balance. I think we need to acknowledge how we contribute to society, even if we are awkward in it, while at the same time not get a big ego from it.
I smiled the whole time with this video because I relate to everything they say, mainly with getting compliments. I do not really know how to respond to compliments and they make me uncomfortable, especially that I am a teacher in a public school. Every single time that I get a job well done and get complimented by it, I feel like I want to let time pass immediately, this video makes me feel secured now that I am not feeling alone with my thoughts and feelings.
As a fellow INTJ (female), I appreciated your to-the-point dialogue with little digressions and unnecessary info lol. You guys gave great insight for others to see the REAL us. :) Thanks
1:08:44 This right here. When she said pet peeves my mind went to, "where do I even start" and this rapid fire listing of things could honestly go on for so long.
why was i worried that 5 INTJs come together? To be honest, the first time I only watched this like a few minutes in, maybe because the presence of all INTJs (including mine) was a bit much. But the second time around (curiosity won), I immediately warmed up to all of them, and even found the seemingly most mean looking one the warmest of all. I had to stop and think to realize if that how the people around me saw me.
It's amazing how different INTJ sees projects from me, wanting complete autonomy and control over it. As an INFx, what I liked most about filmmaking is that it is a collaborative art. Sure, I have a plan, a shot list, and storyboard, but you never really know what will happen with the people you work with. You may find a music score that you've never expected to fit with your final scene. The cameraman might try out a new shot with unique lighting. The actors might improvise something very hilarious. I love seeing everyone interpret the script I came up with in different ways, and recreate the movie I had in my mind. The end result isn't ever what I had planned, but I am always happy and satisfied with it.
I feel like I've developed the habit of raising my voice because I'm naturally quiet and most people can't hear me or talk over me. If everyone was an INTJ, conversations would be a lot more productive and a lot less stressful.
Great discussion, solidified my recent discovery of my type after a few months. Tested as INTP: considered that for a while, but something felt off; I didn’t identify with the cognitive functions well. Then considered maybe I was an ENTP because I realized I was Observer focused having comfort with switching between F and T after watching many Objective Personality videos. The ENTP type still didn’t feel right to me. I finally realized that Ti-Fe ‘coin’ was backwards. I was mistaking Fe ‘tribe’ engagement with Te engagement, hence INTJ. (I.e. introvert, future focused, system efficiency & internal value driven, etc.) Completely clicks with me and totally relate to this panel discussion. Thanks for arranging this.
I think in fiction the cool aunt or uncle is the INTJ. They are the relative that cares for the protagonist when no one else does. I would say Yoda or even Mary Poppins would be a good fictional INTJ. I know some will disagree but a good INTJ is essentially highly intuitive and not just science oriented. I think the best INTJ’s are a good mix of intellect and intuition❤
Wow as an ENFP when Melissa said "I've got zero team," like when someone asks you to be apart of one, never related so hard... I know ppl think that you don't like them when you feel this way, but I feel like the inefficiency kills me. I have no problems with group projects, but everyone go be responsible for one thing and then have someone put it all together. Unnecessary conversations or wanting me to help you work through a whole bunch of steps that you can do on your own gives me so much anxiety. Don't get me wrong, I love to talk and communicate but in non work settings, when it's time to work, that's all I can think about, I'm not good at switching back and forth and we can chat afterwards. I also feel like if you need help, ask me a direct question or to explain something, but going back and forth and let's work on a powerpoint each slide together.......... God save me! I can't
I love how when Jasper said most people think Intj are the secondary leaders but they’re actually the true leaders and just don’t wanna admit it. That was the only time I noticed all 5 INTJ smile at the same time 😂😂. We know we just don’t care for the leader title. As long as the goal is accomplished.
One of my biggest pet peeves as an INTJ is not using your words carefully or correctly. And use your tenses correctly... past, present, and future. I hate ambiguity in conversation because it leads to misunderstandings. For example, my bf who is INTP and talks in math and formulas so his speech is almost always in the present as in, “when put in applications”. So when he talks about how which dating style works better, it’s in the present. So, he’ll say, “when I date, online works for me best because I’m an extreme introvert.” Knowing this helps me to put things in perspective but it still takes me off guard. It’s a bit ambiguous. I tell him this and he is trying to be more intentional with his words and clarify. I would rather hear... “when I had dated in the past, online worked best for me because... ____”. Anyway, words are super important to me.
Awesome! It'll happen one day - as all 16 types will have panels of 5. 🙂 Thank you for the flattering words @TheAwakenedINFJ, always massively appreciate your kindness.

Thing with INTJs is that they all look pissed, or angry, or annoyed, or with a "do not look nor talk to me" face, but the moment they speak to you they are REALLY cool, chill and nice guys hahahah
Which cognitive function is connected to RBF?

They are so respectful to each other, when someone talks the rest of INTJ mute their mic to hear it. Even if they didn't mute it they still didn't interrupt. as an INTJ myself I would do the same thing
I love INTJs for that reason! They 'behind the scenes' come up with ways to make the conversation go more smoothly. It's brilliant.

HAHAHAHA lol
Thank you man, it truly helps.
Peace !
Love that. 💕👌🏽👍🏽
When I first watch this video, I thought Joyce was part of the INTJ group.. Then I notice the color of the dress...
Hahahahahahaha this is the most underrated comment ever.
That's what stood out to me - she's also very externally expressive.
“I used to analyze myself down to the last thread, used to compare myself with others, recalled all the smallest glances, smiles and words of those to whom I’d tried to be frank, interpreted everything in a bad light, laughed viciously at my attempts ‘to be like the rest’ -and suddenly, in the midst of my laughing, I’d give way to sadness, fall into ludicrous despondency and once again start the whole process all over again - in short, I went round and round like a squirrel on a wheel.”
― Fyodor Dostoevsky, Crime and Punishment
I am so proud to be represented by such, smart interesting young people.
Te-rrific presentation.
Woah
I see what you did there in the last line and I love 😀
may i ask which character that quote is from in crime and punishment ?
@@jayrun4341 Have you read this novel yet? I copied this as a primer in case anyone reads our comments. This book was the first time I realized that people write in metaphors which had meaning to me.
" In Crime and Punishment, Dostoevsky examines the deeply held thoughts and feelings of a character, Rodion Raskolnikov. These thoughts and feelings illustrate the problems of finding meaning in existence, a problem at the core of a philosophy that came to be known as existentialism.
Raskolnikov strives to answer the fundamental questions of existentialism. Dostoevsky puts them this way:
What good was life to him?

Damn right.
INTJs are probably always portrayed as villains because most Hollywood movies are told from an ESFP point of view. INTJ is the opposite type to ESFP, and so it's not surprising that the INTJ would appear "dark" and "evil" from that point of view.
Exactly what I was thinking.
Are INTJs really all that common? I feel like most truly villainous characters are Te doms. INTJs are often morally grey.
So often in stories, the hero is someone who is learning along the way, and often having to improvise, and for me, that's not something I do well. Usually it's the villain who has the master plan that must be thwarted, which is more our thing.
I often see in stories in general that infps are the good guys and entjs are the bad guys which is funny because they are usually a couple in real life
The contrast between the 5 ENFPs video and this one.
The contrast is the best. 😂

It was awesome :). Sandy 5w4 & INTJ
This is so therapeutic and wholesome to listen to. Just...the calmness. Love it so much.
“Giving forth too much energy and then later on having to deal with the consequences of it, from other people who think I’m their beat friend”
I died.
Somehow this meeting made me feel at home. Feels really good looking at fellow INTJs engaging in such talk.
Welcome home, Khair!
Wow, five awesome intjs together, that seems epic.

Thank you, Binyamin! :) Being a RUclipsr is indirectly teaching me video editing. I appreciate your encouragement.
What I first saw when I opened the video: 🙂 😐 😐 😐 😐 😐
@@ytachibana9858 That's interesting, I tought that this would be inhibited by us INTJs even in the role of moderators of the discussion.

-INFP

In re: control, I have seen a study that said INTJ's almost invariably answer the question, "What part would you want to play in the production of a movie?" with "Director."
In re: untriggerable.

Being in empty and quiet places that are not supposed empty and quiet energizes me.
Same here!! It's so revitalizing to be in quiet empty spaces. :)
I love how you included your enneagrams! So many 5w4s! I’m an intj and a 4w5 :)
I can incredibly relate to what especially Jasper is saying, how he thinks. Its refreshing.
Pretty cool to hear thoughts on fictional INTJs! Even cooler that the video includes one!
The INFP meets INTJ video is so cute ^^
I feel like I've developed the habit of raising my voice because I'm naturally quiet and most people can't hear me or talk over me. If everyone was an INTJ, conversations would be a lot more productive and a lot less stressful.

THE GROUPS ENERGY & EXPLANATION "I GET IT Y'ALL" 👍❤️
17:15 to joyce Dr strange, Matilda, Batman, Dr house, Ender wiggin, All heroes and super heroes all intj.
I can't
0:11 their stares at the beginning though - INFJ
That soul piercing stare
I love how when Jasper said most people think Intj are the secondary leaders but they’re actually the true leaders and just don’t wanna admit it. That was the only time I noticed all 5 INTJ smile at the same time 😂😂. We know we just don’t care for the leader title. As long as the goal is accomplished.
I need a discord with this group. Seriously crazy. All so great.
13.20 So, so true.
I get such.. insights and... stuff going on here even only being at minute 15 now. Love INTJsssssssss and these people.
They are a lovely set of people for sure!!
Can't wait for the Five ESTJs video.
LMAO! I'd love to see that, hard to believe that it will happen but who knows what super woman here can put together :D
Scaryyyyy
Awesome! It'll happen one day - as all 16 types will have panels of 5. 🙂 Thank you for the flattering words @TheAwakenedINFJ, always massively appreciate your kindness.
I will volunteer on a panel of ENTJ's, as a long time ENTJ female myself!
How about ENTJ women vs. ESTJ women? Now, that would be fascinating!
