Hey everyone, I hope that you're all doing well x
Committing to weekly vlogs has been quite hard with my current workload, but instead I thought I'd record one day in my life, making it easier to manage and edit. weird question but do postgrads have the option to eat in their college hall too? not for all meals but as a drop in pay per meal system? i've got an offer from St. John's at Cambridge to do my MPhil in Archaeology next year and I'm trying to figure out as much as I can about college life!

Where is your blue backpack from Mani?
Mani how important is doing further maths for comp science and philosophy? I am doing maths, physics, history and spanish and am predicted 4 a* and the course very much interests me as I have always been very passionate about both subjects, but unfortunately i do not do further maths and have been told by many that I have no chance without it
Firstly, if your school doesn't offer it, then the university won't actively discriminate against you if you haven't taken it. But if they do, then I'd *strongly* recommend it, because nearly every-single person that gets an offer for comp science has done further maths, and those with it tend to do better in the MAT that those who haven't done it. If it's too late the do it, I'd at least try self-learn some of the parts of further maths that you find interesting, write that in your personal statement, so that you're showing that you're taking an initiative to do as much maths as possible, because CS at Oxford is a very theoretical course, which a lot of mathematical foundations x Hope that helped!
