- This is a typical Monday for me at St Peter's College Oxford. I study Archaeology and Athropology so this day is pretty typical of most humanities students in that there are few contact hours and lots of reading/essay writing. I hope you enjoy!

i´m a visiting student and i imagined the life to be quite different. I spent 10 hours doing experiments with not even an hour break in total. In a cellar... with nobody around

Hi I'm a french student so I don't really understand when you talk about reading is it just read books or more ? Also love your videos 💕
We get given mostly a few chapters per book on a list (We find the appropriate chapters ourselves) and also articles from journals which are usually 20-40 pages ish xx
How do you like your course? Im applying to study History at Edinburgh and Durham and i'd like to know what you think of a History BA in comparison to studying Archaeology
loving it! From what I've seen, history is very much focused on books and literary sources in classical history -there is also an anthropology until at Oxford but I'm not sure about Durham or Edinburgh. I think the main difference is the practical work and scope of time covered (prehistory to 19th century with modern ethnographic study for anth) for example next term I will be doing lab work and the term after will have digging and museum work.

They charge you per meal? in the US schools give you a meal plan as part of your tuition. Depending on whatever plan you get you have a certain amount of "meal swipes" per week at whatever dinning hall. Then you get some campus themed currency to use as fast food places like McDonalds, Chick-fil-a. But how many you get depends on how many meals you get per week.
Rachel D. its different at every uni but i think this is the best way because you pay only when you want food and if you dont want it you dont have to ever buy it. lots of people only like to cook for themselves so paying for a set amount of meals would be a waste of money. Oxford also isnt a campus uni, the uni is effectively the whole city with different subject buildings and colleges dotted everywhere amongst the city centre so we can go to any food chain/supermarket too. lots of people dont know this, ive been approached multiple times by tourists where they can find 'oxford university' 😂 Thats cool to know about the US though xxx
