- You all liked my last one of these and requested I film another so here you go! This one's filmed right in the middle of stressful essay period so should give a truthful insight some of the down sides of studying at such a prestigious institution as well as showing how fun it can be.

One of th best thing's about this video is hearing someone else say tea for dinner time. The amount of times I was ridiculed for that i lost count lol.
Thank you Rosie :) These 'day in the life' videos are a really helpful snapshot of what life is like at a university like Oxford. People who are thinking of applying definitely need to know about the reality of the workload and the effect of this on other aspects of life! I hope there are not *too* many more 3ams in the library for you during the rest of the term, although can't help feeling this may be a vain hope... Hang in there!

I go to Cambridge, but after watching a few of your videos, i really wish i was at Oxford (aaa regrets).
Obviously there are lots of flaws in any establishment, but i think these videos are really important because i feel like candidates need to know the reality of studying at Oxbridge. I think you made an excellent point- it can be amazing and brilliant, but also lots of people do become miserable because of the ridiculous workload and time scale we're expected to complete it in. Hence why mental welfare isn't a strong point (at least for Cambridge lol).
Honestly these videos are vibrant and incredibly refreshing! I really enjoy them. :D

Hi! I go to University of Toronto. It is not as highly regarded as Oxford but I wonder what the differences and similarities are, as UofT is apparently the "best" university in Canada..hm...a lot of us study all night too and sleepover in the library but usually only during exam times

Did you sayit's a quarter to three in the morning and you just got from the library? What , the keeps open till that time?! When did that start happening? I remember that the Public library was fucking closed by nine o'clock, when I used to study A levels there 20 years ago.

CELL HOOD Directly from website - Oxford will accept both the old-system and the redesigned SAT for entry in 2017 (or deferred entry in 2018). Students sitting the redesigned SAT will need to achieve a total score of 1,470 (out of 1,600). We do not require the optional essay in the redesigned SAT. Any candidates with a test date prior to, or including, January 2016 will be expected to achieve the SAT Reasoning Test with at least 1,400 in Critical Reading and Mathematics and also 700 or more in Writing, giving a combined score of at least 2,100 (out of 2,400).

Those of you are really lucky that you have a room in dorm only for you. I live in dormitory too, but I live in one small room with roommate - it suck. And you have more room for only you that we have for the two of us... :(

I think I should study in Oxford - I really prefer to learn in night :) I always stay awake to 3-4AM to learn for the next day, but my roommate hate it :)

How much did you pay for the study room like yours? I think it 's quite big.
It was £140 pounds per week for a lease of 27 weeks. I didn't to choose my accomodation though it was allocated to me by the college
