Yikes,spent almost an hour trying to put the gasket around the thermostat plate,but it won't slip off so i decided to put it on the Housing and then put the thermostat into engine and then join the housing to engine then tightened the bolts and it work and after several hours i come across your video and confirm i did it correct 😅

that a bit of coolant that came out did you drain the coolant?? or just opened the thermostat housing??

Coolant will spill out regardless

Do you flush coolant ? If so after taking thermostat off or before ?

Not sure why Hyundai makes the thermostat housing plastic. Do you see issues with it cracking?

Costs savings, haven't seen any problems with cracking.
