Is this the same for a 2019 Sonata? I need to take my car to the shop because it's still under warranty. The thermostat has started sticking & I want it replaced. But because I'm a woman I need to arm myself with as much information as possible. Some places are honest but many aren't when it comes to women. I love seeing how things work inside! If it wasn't for the warranty I'd happily attempt this myself. Especially with such a great explanation video! Thanks!

Hi I have a 2012 sonata I was driving and my car wasn’t giving power it stayed at 60mph and didn’t go any higher,a lil while later the rpms started going up and down fast but still no power this time not goin above 20 and then the car started shaking what could be the problem?

Your gasket u have listed is wrong.nyour gasket doesn't have the locating nipple for the housing. Do u have a video that shoed u installing the t Stat with the parts u rep? I couldn't funfair it

Hello i have a problem with my 2012 gmc acadia the rpm gauge didnt stand on normal number its go up back down just little not much i clean air mass sensor and intake map sensor it not deffrent what you think the problem is
I'm not an expert, but try cleaning the throttle body and IAC valve
And check the condition of the spark plugs/coils
Do you have any check engine lights? even if you don't "yet" Hook up obd and see if there are any pending check engine codes.
@@dominozonda you might be right, my sister has a 2014 Arcadia and had to replace her throttle body with a newer revised one. They are known to fail on this application
I change the thermostat but car just heats up right below half way on the temp gage. Any help?
That means your cooling system is working. If it goes very far beyond that, there could be an issue.
Your video is titled how to replace the thermostat you told us how to take the thermostat out and you stopped right there you never replaced it I have questions on the putting it back part and you fell short you lied with the title of your video
You really just have to do everything in reverse. Just make sure the bleed valve on the tstat is facing up. Also get a new rubber gasket

@@DANDAN_310I know its a bit late but you should be able to look up standard torque specs for Hyundai and the bolts you’re tightening
