WONDERFUL arrangement!
+Michael Redmond Hmm. What happened round about 5'10" et seq.?
+Michael Redmond Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
at 5:10, if you listen to the top melody line with a little imagination, you should hear the tune!
To be more technical about it, 5:10 is actually the 6th--and last--time that particular melody shows up. In Tchaikovsky's original, each repetition is pretty much the same, but I took the liberty of making the repetitions increasingly complex. At 5:10, the theme is still there, but the chords are different, and the lilting rhythm is replaced by hemiolas. To make it even weirder, a slightly distorted version of the 1st theme is played in counterpoint with the main melody.
Even though we played it from memory, the score is written out completely, so nothing is accidental!
+Edward Neeman OK, thank you!
+Edward Neeman Loved that part! And all of this. Brilliant, and very beautifully played- as always!
i saw it 3 times in a row and don't know what to say out that i go for the 4th time xD
awesome!
+Nicole Robinson Thank you, Nicole!
excelent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I suggested elsewhere, this does for Tchaikovsky what Schulz-Evler did for Johann Strauss II. And the couple certainly have chemistry!
Coquettish interpretation should be there too. This makes the piece more varied.
What a beautiful arrangement and performance! Do you have a published transcription of this arrangement and if so how may we get a copy of it? Would love to start working on it for this coming holiday season. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful playing but way too many cameras. Just put one camera on the keys so we can see what’s going on, please.
How does this differ from Langer’s version?
it's a sex
Wonderful performers! but what an overdone arrangement. It's too florid and confused.
Oh, I think it's lovely, kind of like what Schulz-Evler did with the "Blue Danube."
@@classicalduck I like the Schulz-Elver. Currently learning that. It's lovely.
