- Attempting what feels like the impossible; landing with a crosswind between the trees on a Costa Rican dirt strip! What could go wrong?

I'm looking forward to having the DHC Beaver to do some bush flying. Nice landing Froogle. I wouldn't have done anywhere near that well.

Love the new video format!! Yes, this landing challenge was MUCH more difficult than it seems. (Of course I got my best score of after I stopped recording.)

NB: I was just trying something, so I left the music playing.
I tried this a couple of nights ago. On my first try I overshot and had to try again! Second go was much better.

Try raising your seat (camera) position. The default setting of '50' for the camera height in the menu is too low in all aircraft. 75-80 is much better (compare to outside views of where the pilot's eyeline is relative to the window frames). I think they set it deliberately low so users without head tracking can see most of the instruments easily...
Try it in a Stearman! Lol.
You really shouldn't feel much wind through the big trees if it's from across.
You upload nice content but people are unsubbing instead. They are fools. I am not as i am a subscriber
I just got 1,337,985 on my first try, this is rank 1,067. I'm in VR with a nice setup though.
I tried a few more times and got it up to 1,420,000'ish, rank 500'ish. Tip: Hold a few knots above stall and slip her down once you clear the big tree.
