    Love the build. I modified mine a little:
    At the top of the tree I picked up Linchpin for +50% toughness regen in coherency and the Frag Bomb. The Frag Bomb is very clutch, when you are swarmed and peeps go down. These picks make me lose out on Slam so I lose the +25% impact on melee hits but...
    On the LEFT side where you picked up Batter I also picked Crunch! to get +40% Damage and +40% Impact on a fully charged heavy attack. You have to get used to the fully charged attack but when you get good at it... MUAH Chef's kiss. :)
    I go down the center like you did, but I'm one point shy so I gave up No Pushover for the 20% push stamina reduction.
    For Curios I have +3 Stamina, +21 Health, and +17 Toughness. All 3 have +30 Toughness Regen, +20 Damage Resist (Gunners), and +20 damage resist (Snipers)... what can I say... I hate snipers.
    My added PRO TIP: Don't sleep on the Explosive Punch for the Gauntlet as it does melee hit + fires a point blank shot. Special attacks count as heavy attacks so you also trigger Batter for bleed and Crunch! for extra bonus goodness. 3 of these to kill a Crusher while making all his close range palls sit and watch! :) NOTE Explosive Punch will not stagger a Bulwark if you hit his shield for some reason (ranged shots do) so keep this in mind.

      Damn love what you’ve done with your build. Those fully charged heavy must hit like trucks, I was afraid to lose the stagger but damn I like what you’ve done on your changes! Thanks for sharing your knowledge my bro!

    A support veteran would compliment this tankg ogryn really well. The extra damage and tounghness in coherency bwould amazingly enhance this.

    • @captainsaveabro
      @captainsaveabro  9 месяцев назад +1

      I couldn’t agree more bro. There are times where range just eats your toughness and a support Vet comes in clutch as a toughness battery! I got a demolition build for Vet im gonna be doing a video on soon and it’s a toughness battery also.

    The GG seems like the better option at first because of its relatively high projectile speed and direct hit bonuses. But if you play Brogryn enough, you realize that the Lorenz Rumbler is the better pick. The arc guide while ADS makes it more accurate than the GG when necessary, but what you want is horde disruption. That's your real nemesis with a build like this. The ideal rotation is to approach a horde (preferably with Elites mixed in as they often are) with the Rumbler, headshotting one of them once they're in melee range, then hitting shout. By the time you have your shield out following that, you've made them take bonus damage meaning your round, once it explodes, will kill many more, as well as staggering or knocking down everything that isn't a Mutie or boss. On that note, if you have the "sticky grenade" blessing, Beasts and Plogryns will be half dead before you even get a chance to taunt them.
    30+130 Ogryn player.

      Nice bro! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and providing such an on point break down! I’m gonna be living that rumbler life lol

    Boys Patch #15 Nerfed the Grenadier Gauntlet, but the nerf does not affect this build in anyway, The Grenadier is still a strong and go to option for the Tank Ogryn.

      Have you tried the Kickback? With the Surgical blessing, it's a beast. I one-shot almost everything with it, especially mutants.

      Can attest to the effectiveness of the kickback. I can one-shot snipers out in Tim buck two with a quick weapon swap.

    Do you really crit enough to justify Reassuringly Accurate? Not convinced with taking +Unyielding over +Maniacs either.

    usually for mobs, it's not so much a problem. The focus is more on armor, specials, elites, and bosses.

    WHERE IS ROCK

  • @FireAnt
    @FireAnt 9 месяцев назад +6

    Okay, so, nice to have a guide, but there are some blatantly bad choices here:
    1. Reassuringly Accurate is Horrible Ogryn blessing and you never want to pick it, ever. Our base crit chance is 2.5%. That's it. You're not getting more ouf the tree either, especially with GG. And even with full Glugger investment (not what we have here, You are not even able to reach 20%~). This means that this is, virtually always, a dead blessing.
    2. Alterenatively you skipped on BEST blessing on GG, Pinpointing Target, which adds %POWER for aiming. Even the shortest of aim time increase your DMG a solid bit and longer aiming can reach BPSs on many targets.
    3. Unyielding isn't a bad choice for GG but MANIAC is a must way over FLAK. Currently GG can hit all key breakpoints on FLAK without a perk and with Pinpointing Target is a trifle to one shot Shotgunners/Gunners. Maniac however let you achieve One shotting all MANIAC specials and making short work of Ragers as well. Remember that Special Punch has inherently cracked anti-Flak DMG.
    4. Wound Curio is, for the most part, a waste of Curio. You have 3 Wound on Damnation+ and that should be more than enough. Additional HP or better yet, a Fully specced Toughness curio would do you much better, especially since most blessings and feats we have on Toughness regen are % Based, so higher base toughness = more gains per trigger of such effects.
    5. Revive Speed is an OK choice but for maximum tank role and durability stacking +90% Toughness Regen in Coherency is the best way to go.

    I don't get why so many people like "Bomb's Away" over the "Frag Bomb." I get that having two grenades is nice, but the cluster won't kill anything tougher than basic mobs, while the "Frag Grenade" clears an entire room while dealing heavy damage even to armored targets. Even if they did do the same aoe damage though, the difference in blast radius is not even a contest. One will clear a couple in an area, while the other takes out an entire wave of smaller enemies.

    • @captainsaveabro
      @captainsaveabro  8 месяцев назад +2

      I feel you bro, I mean most of the time I missed having that power on hand, but I use it mostly as a horde clear to make space to get an ally up or to clear a path to retreat so that we can reengage with a better position. But I totally get your point my bro. Thanks for leaving a comment!

    I like the Tank build but i dont Like spamming always the heavy attacks. Ist there any was to automatic use heavy Attack instead of light? I know you only need to hold the Mouse button short but i dont like to do this. Any setting? Any Makro? I want to click (Not hold) left button for heavy attack.

    • @captainsaveabro
      @captainsaveabro  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yoooo Bro, so I did the research and no there isn’t any in game accessibility option to change that but I looked online and you can search for mouse software that will allow you to change holding the mouse into just a light click by using macros. Let me know if this works out for you. Thanks for leaving a comment my bro!
