You're not a freak and you carry the weight well already. I'm confident if you want to lose weight and look and feel different, you absolutely can. I'm rooting for you. Love your content.
I guess being black I think he carries it the way most guys would. He has a leaner build. Looking at him he would be solid at 215. If I was 6'4 and 260 I think I would look just a little bit heavy or buff.
Awesome dude. I used to weigh 330 pounds and now im 195. I just totally changed my diet 25 years ago and dropped the weight. One suggestion is once you lose the weight you have to try twice as hard not to gain it back. You see so many people lose weight and then once they reach their goal they just go back to their old habits. So this is your new life style. Stick with it brother. I was told i had to drop weight if i wanted to see the age of 40. Im 65 now and still 135 pounds lighter than i was 25 years ago. You should start reviewing heathy foods. I dont see anyone doing that
That's true about the not gaining the weight back but I have seen a lot of overweight middle aged people in their 50s and 60s so that concerns me that you could still die from it as early as 40? I'm overweight myself right now and I'm 30 and I'm taking this as my warning to get myself back in shape while I still have time.
Wow...much respect to you, Luke❤we appreciate you being vulnerable like that and literally showing us who you really are...to do that nowadays that pretty courageous brother...keep truckin' and working hard as we all support you on your journey 💯💪🏼🙂❤
good to hear you're making progress i highly recommend eating lots of chicken, fish, eggs, beef. protein is great for filling you up, keeping muscle, low calories. also drinks are a big source of calories for a lot of people, something to keep in mind. best of luck. :D
Keep it up bro congrats you have the mind set looked it and not loosing sight in of ya goals most people give up on 2 weeks respectfully. Keep the pump up 💪🏻
PROUD; always good to prioritize health. You look better but most importantly you feel better. Gym 3-4 times a week, check those macros and calories, REST and enjoy a cheat day. Love your content bro keep doing you
Dude, that is awesome. Great work! You should look into HIIT (high intensity interval training) exercises, basically you run at the fastest you can for one minute and then you take a 30 second light jog to let you rest and then you do it again repeating this cycle for about 20 minutes (or more). Doing this makes you lose the amount of calories that an hour of exercise would give you. Actually, even more, because the way HIIT works is that it causes weight loss even when you’re sleeping. Do this 2-3 times a week. Bonus: cold showers, especially hitting your back as it activates brown fat. Aka added metabolic boost
LUKE IF YOU SEE THIS!!!!! I am 6’4 and I used to way 290, over about a year I dropped almost 100 pounds by just working at my job( not a physical job lol) , and eating one good meal at night with a few snacks during the day, honestly was not trying to lose weight I was just working working working and when I would get home I’d eat ( even fast food I never cut anything out) by literally just eating 1 big meal a day you will lose weight and not have to watch what you eat, just food for thought brother! Keep grinding!
Hard work and pain will get you gains so keep going and I am on that journey too. The thing is it’s hard but through time and patience all is worth it. ❤️🔥💪🏽
Good job, brother, keep on doing the good work! I started counting calories two months ago with the same app and have lost 20 pounds by keeping myself in a calorie deficit + working out. The key is consistency!
Aye Luke, sophomore year of high school I used to weigh 280 at my heaviest. Didn’t start taking fitness and lifting seriously until the end of my senior year in high school. Now as a sophomore in college, the other day I weighed in at 199 and I think that was the first time I weighed sub 200 since middle school. The journey is more than worth it. Tip: protein shakes and yogurt are your best friends to loosing fat. They still let you hit your protein macros, and you being 6’4, you’re going to need alot of protein to keep your muscle mass. If you hit the gym with 10 minutes of cardio at the end of your lifts and stay in a slight calorie deficit like you said you were doing, you will look and feel so much better in no time. Good luck, it’s good to see that you’re conscious of your health.
Personally, ive lost the most amount of weight while eating mostly meat, no grain and low sugar. I didnt pay attention to calories at all. It was a fun time. Costly but fun. I lost about 50 pounds in 3 months. And that was after having lost 40 and hitting a plateau at 220. I never over ate to begin with but high protein made me eat more frequently and I think that helped with my weightloss.
No worries, Luke! You'll be just fine. I've lost and gained 10's of lbs several times over the last 20 years.. I used a free app called 'Lose It', (it's the one with the orange scale), in the beginning, after a while you just kinda know, though it was a fun way to basically hone in on what I was eating vs movement... You also get to set your parameters. A very user friendly app,I highly recommend it. 👍That was for meal tracking [honestly] and movement. Walking has always been my love as far as general exercise goes. That, plus simple resistance exercises, ie squats, walking lunges, push-ups, no extra weights needed, worked really well. At work, I 99% used the stairs, two at a time, that's over 5 stories. Diet: I love and am obsessed with food and flavors. I'm a plate cleaner and I need volume.. I wish I could chat with you to share, there's too much to share here in this tiny space. Let's just say, it's not rocket science. 😊My meal regimen was awesome and filling I wanted for nothing, always sated. You're still very young, you'll figure it out. Slow and steady wins the race. No gimmicks, leave them behind in traffic. 🤗👍🌻💪👀 Edit thanks to swiping keyboard😉
Luke a few years ago to lose weight, I first transitioned from normal soda to diet completely then cut out all sugar and snacks and just drank water. In addition I did a 3 mile walk each day. I lost 40 pounds in a few months
When I started my fitness journey 3 years ago, I was 240lbs at a 5'10." I have a monstrous appetite, so cutting calories through multiple meals was unsustainable. What really helped me was doing one big ass meal a day with whole, nutrient dense foods. Doing this method, I dropped 75 pounds in 7 months. Another thing that helps is finding exercise methods that you enjoy so it makes the journey less daunting. I look and feel better nearing 30 than I did in all my 20's.
Congratz....Intermittent fasting is key to...Takes a bit to get used to,but once you get used to it,it's easy....Eat 3 meals a day 0 snacks than don't eat anything for 12 hours
Mate I would much rather watch you review healthy foods and finish it than unhealthy foods and eating 2 bites! Because you could also inspire others with healthy food options and alternatives! Good luck!
Holy shit never would have guessed you're that tall. Now I'm looking at you differently lol. Do the carnivore diet. Nothing but good stories from that and it makes sense. Humans survived for thousands of years on meat. Hunting animals. Fruits, veggies, grains and all that other stuff wasnt available for the most part. Carnivore diet my friend trust me
LUUUKE. Love you man. We all do. We all love that sexy body. I hope you’re still doing this. Give us an update on the workout! Tell us what you do and stuff! It’s ok if you haven’t been keeping up, we all do that. It’s human. But don’t let your fitness go. MyFitnessPal works. I’m counting calories too! Make a video of you working out. Bring the camera into the gym. We are here for you, man. We love you. Let’s get into shape together! I’m fat lol

You and Wayne should do a gym episode
You're 6'4 man that's crazy. You would be good at 215-230. Just would have to focus on lifting weights and maintaining muscle mass.
I wish you the best Luke and i want you to be healthy. I think Beardmeatsfood can be good inspiration for you. As a child he was also big.
