I have tried their food many many times....they are very good and most important - value for money. Nice and pleasant people too. I have nothing but praise for them....they are that good!

Hi Sarah, it’s nice listening to you talk, just like a Nyonya! The F & B business in S.E.Asia is indeed very competitive, so it takes a lot of guts & single-mindedness of purpose to run an eatery which you seem to exhibit! Incidentally, It would be great if you could include Pongteh as it is the quintessential dish of the Baba & Nyonya, at least those of Singapore and Melaka, though it is hardly known among the Penang Peranakans, unlike Chicken Kapitan which is common there. Another is the Buah Keluak dish. Only a suggestion and I wish you the very best, Sarah!

"pok pok kay" is Hokkien meaning hen. "pok pok or kok kok kay is the loud cackle - "kok kok kay...kok kok kay.." a hen makes after laying her egg.

The most authentic Peranakan food is home- cooked. Get yourself invited to a Peranakan home if you want the genuine stuff.

Hi take a train to Pasir Ris MRT - then walk beside White Sands - you will pass by Old Chang Kee. Go straight till traffic light and cross it. Turn left and walk 2 min. Total time from MRT to Pasir Ris hawker about 5 minutes
