You are amazing! I love all your quilt designs and you make incredible videos and so easy to follow. I have been away from quilt several years and have done several easy quilts to get back into it but ready for more challenging designs. You have inspired me tremendously. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I have been watching tons of videos, and this is by far my favorite, and I love that quilt. I have decided that I am going to follow this pattern for my second quilt and i’ve been collecting extra extra large plaid dress shirts from Thrift stores, for certain i have enough to make this quilt now!
Awesome, loving your scrappy, stacking quilt. I never expected fabric cut on a 60° angle and adding a few triangles would result in such a beautiful and stunning quilt that visually appears to be floating.. I would definitely like to make a few of these very stacking quilts, in the near future. Thank you for sharing your excellent video tutorials; your easy approach to making a quilt and also breaking all the steps down is especially appreciated. Eagerly looking forward to seeing more of your quilting tutorials.
Wow! Did this pattern make you dizzy while you worked on it? It makes me dizzy just to look at it. Stepping back from my computer screen helps. It looks like a very interesting quilt top. I just don't think my bad eyes will let me do this. Tank you for this video.
I Love your tutorial, such a nice pattern and very well explained. Great way to use scraps. I’m wondering if I could just add the white strip to the stripset and save some time there…
Hi Suz, Oh My Goodness! You have done it again, coming up with yet another design. You are Brilliant, & you keep surprising me with your active imagination and coming up with all these cool designs. Very impressive and Fun. 👍🥰❣️👏 I love your excitement as that’s how I get when I see something I really like and want to make. Take Care and God Bless You and Your Family, 🥰 Chris
Love it! I have never been shy using the different angles on my Omnigrid rulers. I do have an original strip tube ruler. But I have gotten a lot of oohs and ahhs at baby showers and wedding showers... sometimes using my scraps! If they only knew.😊 This one looks so fun. Thank you 😀
This is a show stopper! Your demo and explanation were great! I am not good at the smaller blocks, but I can see doing it with wider strips. I don’t think it would be as dynamic as yours, but it would still be pretty! Thank you so much!
So the angles just match easy peasy when you sew the rows together? I've always been intimidated by the block patterns but you made it seem do-able. Thank you
So much passion & joy in your manner of training. This quilt is so astonishing. I await my very 1st quilt from long armor, then I want to do a tee-shirt quilt honoring Sis who passed last year, but this one is on my "to do" list. I've been making fabric wrapped rope bowls lately but wooo they seem to wear out my machine. 😂
Wow Congratulations on you first quilt! My first quilt never made it to the quilting stage; it's sooo bad. I'm so excited for you and your upcoming quilt journey!
This is my first dimensional quilt. Suze, your directions were so clear that it wasn't any trouble knowing what cuts should be made or seams should be sewn. My problem was laying out the initial five offset strips. The lights offset to the right, no trouble. The darks to the left were unsewn and resewn over and over. Do you have any tips for next time?
Hi Marge, I think I understand what you're asking...I tried to carefully offset them the opposite way. If you email me at: revelationquilts@yahoo.com, perhaps I can be more specific in my answer.
Beautiful design, thanks for your very detailed instructions. My question is, what quilting design did you use? I'm thinking that with such small pieces, the quilting design must be dense. I'm all aboard for that. I do enjoy your tutorials.
Can I suggest you add the black triangles to the ends of the columns before you sew them together? Might make more sense of how the seams lay as the corners come together right at the top and bottom edges.
I sewed the blocks into columns, then I sewed the black triangles on because I wasn't sure which ones would end up at the end. I see your logic though. I chained-pieced them all, so it was very easy. Much Love.
I have recently hired a pattern-writer. We will be collaborating, going thru my designs & working out patterns for them all. Pre-orders can be found at www.revelationquilts.com
Not yet; I've hired a pattern-writer and she is busy writing patterns to go along with my tutorials. We will eventually have them all available in a digital format.
I may have blown it. I thought it was a 45 degree angle because that is the only measurement on my ruler. Now I don’t know how to cut the white. Any ideas?
All puppies have worms, a simple medication takes care of this problem. Housebreaking just takes a bit of patience and love for many years of loving recognition from a for ever animal. I hope this is acceptable from the UTube police……

Please move your camera out some so we can see the whole quilt. It is so beautiful 😍. Can’t wait to try it.
There is a pic in the community tab of the entire quilt. Just scroll down until you see it.
Love it! I have never been shy using the different angles on my Omnigrid rulers. I do have an original strip tube ruler. But I have gotten a lot of oohs and ahhs at baby showers and wedding showers... sometimes using my scraps! If they only knew.😊 This one looks so fun. Thank you 😀
You are my kind of quilty friend! Angles are our friends!
I really like what you are building. Very unique. Thank you for the tutorial.

Thank you! It was a fun one!
Fantastic!
I always wondered how it got to look like that. Great
This is a show stopper! Your demo and explanation were great! I am not good at the smaller blocks, but I can see doing it with wider strips. I don’t think it would be as dynamic as yours, but it would still be pretty! Thank you so much!
Absolutely! I can't think of a reason it wouldn't work with any width of strips.
So the angles just match easy peasy when you sew the rows together? I've always been intimidated by the block patterns but you made it seem do-able. Thank you
They do match up pretty easily. It's all in the way you iron the seam allowances.
So much passion & joy in your manner of training. This quilt is so astonishing. I await my very 1st quilt from long armor, then I want to do a tee-shirt quilt honoring Sis who passed last year, but this one is on my "to do" list. Love this!
Beautiful design, thanks for your very detailed instructions. My question is, what quilting design did you use? I'm thinking that with such small pieces, the quilting design must be dense. I'm all aboard for that. I do enjoy your tutorials.
I free-motioned a loop-d'-loop in the strips.
❤
Any tips on matching the columns up?
With the seam allowances going in opposite directions, it was super simple. I just made sure they nested as I sewed the columns together.
Super, it is awesome. What is the name of the fabric on your wall you "glue" the project parts?
Truthfully, it's a cheap vinyl tablecloth from Walmart. It has a felt back, so fabric sticks to it.
Much Love.
❤
Do you write patterns for your quilts?
I have recently hired a pattern-writer. We will be collaborating, going thru my designs & working out patterns for them all. Pre-orders can be found at www.revelationquilts.com
Are there written directions available anywhere?
Not yet; I've hired a pattern-writer and she is busy writing patterns to go along with my tutorials. We will eventually have them all available in a digital format.
I may have blown it. I thought it was a 45 degree angle because that is the only measurement on my ruler. Now I don’t know how to cut the white. Any ideas?
If I understand what you’re saying, you’ll have to keep everything at the same angle, so the white will also have to be at 45 degrees.
