  • Our campo in Baja California had a flock of chickens that got out of hand when free ranging and many decided not to come back to the coop. They began laying eggs and hatching chicks all over the place in almost every available bush. Finally, the owner of the birds decided to have them taken away. Sweet asked if we could have a few and she said "you can have what you catch". The hired gun came and was able to capture many of the older chickens that came into roost at dusk, but all the wild chicks, hens, and roosters that didn't come to roost were ours to catch. It took us 3 days to cat them all. We ended up with 27 chickens.

To calm down a chicken, put its head under its wing. The dark mellows it out. If you hold a chicken upside-down by the legs, you control it without hurting it. Happy Chicken Farming. 😂😂🐔🐔
