I have some an update on the "Loss of Reaction" issue Winbush mentions at 01:15 in the video I jumped into a shot real quick to test out the new manipulators. No issues with crashing [yet], but did lose "reaction" with many of the controls after just a few interactions. Others remain completely functional. Clicking away from the control rig and back did not help. BUT... scrubbing the Timeline did! Not a permanent solution, bit at least a workable stopgap till an update comes out.

Great job Winbush! I find 5.4 quite crashy with sequencer and this enabled - is that just me?
Yea I was doing a client project yesterday and for me it was when I was using the motion designer and trying to go to quick add it would crash 100%
I almost wish they did a 2nd preview before going full on release to work the kinks out
Working on mograph and sequencer in 5.4 is a crash machine on my side too, currently installing the may 2nd update to see changes

ReStir GI is starting to be introduced with Lumen, maybe forward updates gon give the option to use it
More Notes! I've also noticed that certain rig controls will not highlight in the list of controls in Sequencer when selected if the new TRS style is active. Toggling it off eliminates the problem. Toggling it on again simply causes a different set of controls to not highlight! Wheeeeeeee! I just love updates..!
Yea I've been noticing some descriptencies as well I guess that's why it's experimental
"a NEW look?" You mean... the look it should have had from day one! Now if the programmers will just turn those Hula-Hoops they call character control rigs into nice, razor-thin NURBS curves, we'll be good to go!
All snarking aside, the improvement bring made by the UE team on all fronts are simply amazing. At the rate they're going, it won't be long before their little game engine evolves into a proper DCC, - for which I, and I'm sure many others, will be infinitely grateful.

Superb. Just a newbie myself and need to ask for the shortcut key that switches between translate Actor and translate Gizmo please.

Always straight to the point and helpful, thx Winbush 💪 additional question : as a blender/houdini user, is there a way or plugin we could buy or get to type TRS with numeric increments eg w/x/3 or e/y/45 ? Would be soooo cool
Hmm not that I know of off hand but with the new gizmos being in the experimental stage hopefully that's something they will add!

why in new gizmo doesn't work grid snapping? where its enable?
It's experimental so there's some kinks still
Its cool gizmo but buggy. Rotation snapping not working and pretty of time it was not reacting. Anyone knows any clone shortcut like 'Old' gizmo transform with ALT key pressed?
@madghost999 yea it's not there yet. Hopefully, it gets fixed in 5.5
They are much more usable, but... snapping doesn't work anymore. Or did I miss something here?
yea it's experimental still so seems like a lot of functions are not there
why has my Gizmo dissapeared cant seem to get it back i know its probly a push of a button but im gettig frustrated
select something and push " G " on your keyboard see if that brings it back

Yea alot of the functions seem to be off I guess that's why it's in experimental mode at the moment
