As shown in the pictures, this exhaust fits the Honda Shadow VT750 models with the plastic engine covers with the exhaust cutaway on the bottom. The pipes are designed closer to the bike to keep your leg away from the pipes when riding.
Each set includes hardware.

Made of 16ga steel, TIG welded to the TJ Brutal Customs DOM exhaust bosses, and using steel collars, these exhaust pipes are made to last!
For tuning we recommend picking up a map controller or efi controller from Dynojet or any other reputable manufacturer of EFI system controllers. You can install pipes on an EFI controlled bike and in most cases, after a few rides the computer will adjust to the new exhaust or intake.
Do not wrap these pipes, doing so will void the warranty as well as increase the chances of corrosion and failure. Please refer to the Support section for an explanation as to why we do not wrap pipes. All pipes are handmade and will have minor differences from set to set, being the nature of custom handmade parts. You may see some plating differences and weld differences, but all pipes have been inspected to make sure they will have a long life on your bike. Color change is normal on steel pipes even when plated as they are single wall exhaust. Raw steel pipes WILL rust unless you plate or coat them. You can hit em with some VHT or chrome them or ceramic plate them if you choose to go the raw steel route. However this is the more expensive route. Purchasing the cerakote finish option is very affordable and gives your pipes a guaranteed long life!

TJ, I cant believe their is an alternative here for Honda's. Ive been wanting to pick up a Honda Shadow Aero for a while now and your work has made it a wrap. I hope you are in business and do well for many years....I'd love to see a custom sissy bar for the Aero and even possibly a custom rear fender. possibly a fender that comes down low with no cut outs for lights as we all know every custom bike needs a ford LED side mount. @@iamIncrediblehulk well they sounded great but I realized it was running really lean and mine being fuel injected had to order a power commander 5 computer to find a tune for it or make one but it's looking like they had the fuel injectors maxed out and still not enough.. They don't make larger fuel injectors for it either. So I'm $1000 in and upset honestly. But they did sound good.

@@iamIncrediblehulk I know what you mean man. Yeah I got a phantom as well. Their just too short and can't create the back pressure needed. I did find some Vance hines short shots for it. About $500 and I know a tune for that one. I'm thinking about those now

I'm a Kawi, 900 Vulcan LT, fan but I am jonesing for a Honda to play with after following your vids. Especially with your Springer forks. But I have to admit the 800 & 900 Kawis. look kick-ass Bobbed out.
I own a '15 Honda Shadow Phantom and it's a ton of fun. Not super powerful but just feels amazing to ride.

Oh yeah, I can attest to pipes and jetting an 04 Aero with gutting the airbox and a K&N filter. It's like a different bike. Throw in the timing mod and its excellent down low and midrange. Really wakes these engines up a lot. The pipes are awesome too by the way!!
I have a 2004 Aero. Is there an aftermarket EFI conversion kit that I can obtain without breaking the bank? I love my Shadow. But the carb sucks.
Question will my 2019 phantom adjust itself after backdrafts, plus a powerflo air fliter system? Also what is added power from original?
after a dozen or so rides, the computer will adjust a bit, but within its limitations. honestly the best thing to do is get a fuel controller system and plug that in, cobra makes a pretty snazzy one!
Forgot to mention that it has one installed too. Reason I’m asking what increase in hp, mpg, and torque should I expect? Beside spending money to a shop and put in dyno.

So did I hear that right. I can upgrade my air intake and exhaust and the stock fuel controller will work without damaging motor.
I have changed my exhaust system already. I was going back and forth on air intake cause I thought you have to get the after market fuel controller for a aftermarket air intake. If I don’t need one without hurting motor then I’ll order one now.

I dont own a shadow. But i do however own a 1988 vn1500a kawasaki and i would loooovvvveee a set of these. Plus id be the ONLY one with them lol

I have an 07 shadow spirit. I made a trip to visit my best friend and his family. Around 90 miles into the 109-mile trip, there was a very noticeable sound change.
It suddenly got a lot louder. Though I can't say for certain, I feel that something happened to the baffles.
I have averaged 50 to 53 miles per gallon, and true to form, I used just over two gallons on the trip there.
I toped the tank off when I left to come home, and I ran out of gas around 15 miles from home.
My question is this. If something did happen to the baffles, would that cause my full mileage to drop that drastically?
A little over two gallons there and a little over three gallons back.

Great question, the only way to truly know the answer is to chop that bike, get a smaller tank, remove the baffles and run out of gas every day.
Hey TJ, I have a 98 VT1100 ACE and I’m looking to get an exhaust and some jets. But I’m wondering why your Backdraft exhaust for the 1100 warns against heat wrap. Can you explain? Also, do you recommend a Dynojet kit for the 1100. Thanks.

Hey there! Love this information. I am considering putting fishtail on my bike. 2003 Honda Shadow ACE. How can I do this by utilizing the stock exhaust? Where would it be cut? I'm assuming I'd need someone to fabricate some pipes to go under the bike where I can add some fishtail slip ons??? Suggestions?
you really would want to make a set of custom pipes to run fishtails.

How much would you charge me to widen a rear spoked wheel. It is aluminum alloy. I would like to widen it from 3.5 inches to 5 or 5.5 inches to accommodate a 180 rear tire?

I just got these pipes in the mail and a CobraF12000R EFI controller. Do you have suggestions for the baseline setting of the controller?
was there a noticeable gain using the velocity stack with those pipes?
Can you compare this to the 2001 carbureted Honda Shadow?
I can't seem to find a direct comparison to see the actual numbers of improvement.
Also as to the efi, you need to remap 100% if you don't have O2 sensors for the computer to sense changes and even then it's not too good

I need help with jetting sizes!! I have a 03 750spirit i have been working on for a while! I have put a new cone intake on it and it came with new jets but after install the bike falls on it face when throttle is opened up so after messing with air fuel mixture it still did it i set back to factory and covered up 95% of the cone air holes and the bike ran perfect so where do i start on the jetting size this is my first jet job lol dont hate on me

I have an 04 750 Aero that I've been pipe shopping for. I decided to remove the baffles on the current exhaust but I'll have to admit, I'm no mechanic by any means so I'm not sure if that will end up hurting it. Do I need to do anything to the motor to accommodate?

So I recently installed the black version of these pipes on my bike and this weird smell is showing up. It’s not coming from the actual exhaust exhaust but I think from the pipes themselves am I destroying my engine or if this is normal

This might be a dumb question, but I have a 2013 Spirit and am wondering… does this thing have catalytic converters? I don’t see anything but it says it does in the pdf manual. If it does have cats, is there any disadvantage to removing the stock exhaust? Thanks!

i have a 06 honda shadow spirit 750, the one with the stock ghost flames on the tank. If i ordered pipes from your website, what parts would you suggest getting along with them to make the bike run correctly with the new exhaust? I'm pretty sure i'll need to get the carbs rejetted/tuned? I want to make sure I have everything I need for the new pipe installation.

My shift arm that goes inside the transmission is bent from previous owner and won't go into 5th gear do I have to be pull the motor to replace it
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS it's a 99 750 Shadow Ace .. every gear shifts just fine just like any other bike but when I try and go into 5th I get nothing
@@TJBRUTALCUSTOMS took the shaft out bent it into place now it goes into 5th gear but I don't notice to much of a difference lol
