I love how enthusiastic he is about his kit. Seems like a genuine guy.
My God, his mini kit is bigger than most people's standard-sized kits! Those cymbals alone could be spread out over a half dozen kits!
Bigger then most huge kits
NO, A DOZEN (AT LEAST).
It's like the Baconator vs the Son of a Baconator. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same vibe, but more compact size.
Terry bozzio sees 4-pieces in his nightmares
He conquered his fears at Vic's Drum Shop. look it up.
@@Gretchluver1 yep, he's still amazing on a four piece kit with three cymbals!
@@prickyXMan's really said, "Before you go big, you gotta start small."
Terry on some "from humble beginnings" type shit rn. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mini Kit... Har har har ;-)
Anyway. I love Terry Bozzio. He is a unique and a serious artist. May he stay healthy for many many years!
maybe others say that his kit is pointless. But this is his Art. his style. Respect.
Terry: "And under this tom.. I made a hydration system that recycles my sweat into clean drinking water."
What's really funny, is I can genuinely hear him saying this
I'm ded LOL
lolololol!!!
😂😂😂
😂👍
Terry is so humble. I love it. Thank you Terry!!!
I saw him on his drum solo tour in Asbury Park. What an amazing drummer and for anyone who doesn't "Get" Bozzio or why he has all these drums, see him live and then you will have no doubt(In fact I guarantee anyone who questions him has never seen him live). And he was so gracious to the audience just for having the opportunity to play for us. Great guy!
Terry is one of the nicest and down to earth people I have ever had the pleasure to work with/play with/be friends with :) He's great
Did he ever give his kits names?
I'm sensing a Baconator and Son of a Baconator type of deal going on. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That said, great video! Terry is high key the man. He had visions in his mind, and was willing to chase after them, even if he had to build an arsenal of drums to do it. I respect that unironically.
for Terry this is as mini as it gets, this guy is an amazing musician and drummer, great guy to look up to musically
Everyone seems to think Terry is this egotistical mediocre drummer, but he is not. His solos are great and his work with Zappa is even better! He has a lot of potential and great taste drumming, and he seems so kind and down to earth!
Anyone who considers Bozzio "mediocre" is a Bozo!
I'm sure the cheque's in the post ...lol...no seriously , I do like the guy - some people confuse enthusiasm with being up your own ass, it's not the same thing kids
Coolest, nicest, most personable and patient guy ever! Met him in SLC Utah and sat behind his set!
I'mTheDrummer I've seen him in a small concert venue, from the front row. He is just a drum nerd, no ego at all. He just is the kid in the candy store who happens to be able to afford all the candy...or has it given to him. Terry is a real nice guy.
Don't forget the Missing Persons stuff that is AMAZING!! I saw him in a clinic in the early 90's and he was incredible! ...Not even human with what he was pulling off. Anyone is completely uninformed if they aren't aware of his creativity and talent!
that's right, Terry Bozzio moves his own shit. good for you brother.
Terry is one of the best ! Mind blowing player and a wonderful human beiing as well. No one plays , nor sounds like Terry. Hes such a cool guy, too.
His work with Korn was absolutely amazing. The sound is completely unique; there's really nothing like it. His songs were the best songs on that album.
Fantastic stuff Terry. The true, genuine, innovative, eccentric artist. Love the fact that you can wheel this around. Awesome!
His mini kit is my monster kit!!!
Tell the person using the circular saw in the background that a legend is speaking.
LOL! I was thinking the same thing! Who the heck it talking while there is a camera filming Terry Bozzio??
That was actually part of the drum kit ;) the foot pedal circular saw
Lol!!! I know right? I was thinking the same thing. I was going to comment about it until I saw yours. Lol
Eh. You right, but he might've been going through the motions. Lol.
He needed his coffee that day. 🤣🤣
@LEOsoulMonarch lol, exactly. actually, think I'll get me some...
He paved the way no question. Love & Respect
Not only one of tbe best innovative drummers of all times but also the inventor of saving space in your VAN….
Only now am I developing an understanding and appreciation for a Terry's work with Missing Persons
Your passion is amazing man
Saw him with this kit last night. Absolutely great show!
Thas why he is my favorite drummer aside from other drummers !! I like his style and creativity....I wish I had his hands...Yes I'm a drummer too....
He did some great stuff with his, and his ex wifes band Missing Persons
She was in the band, but it was definitely his band.
I really like Terry. His drumming and technical knowledge and invention is superb. Besides that he seems like a really
great person. I saw one of his clinics here in Sweden and he was so forthcoming to questions and photoshoots and whatnot.
Just aimed to please anyone who approached him.
His mini kit dwarfs all my kits put together
I once sent a single snare drum to Bozzio. Heard he had a heart attack when he saw it all by itself in a box.
It's great to see how humble and wise he has become since he's gotten older. He used to be so arrogant.
"mini"
Seriously people, if you’ve never listened to the two Bozzio Levin Stevens albums, they have some of the most wonderful drumming I’ve heard in my life...
Terry is the "Fred G. Sanford" of drums! love it this stuff!
Yes! He does have a ride on the kit. Good eye
Damn...his travel kit is bigger then anything I want on my dream-kit lol
I didn't see the kitchen sink. Maybe he's triggering it or something. Seriously, very creative setup. Of course I don't play anything like Terry Bozzio but I'd love to have this kit to roll around everywhere I go. He does a great job of explaining everything.
Artist.
He always comes across like a really nice guy in every interview.
Terry’s the best.
Only Terry Bozzio would have a "mini" kit the size of a regular drummer's "large" kit :P
At 4:50 - "well, er thanks for your time Terry" {tries to leave very quickly} Terry- " oh just one more thing" says Columbo Bozzio.
Terry Bozzio staring as a youthful Paul Simon, the drummer!
The music stand is brilliant.
His "MINI" kit is still wayyy bigger than my "DREAM" kit
Great set!
Mad scientist of drums
wow!! he looks so nice as a person!!! cool guy!
They are mounted off of his snare stand via a mini clamp :)
Excellent beautiful amazing.
I'll check it out tomorrow, it may be a custom deal. :)
nice shout out for Tom!
Does anyone know what the toms are tuned to on that rack?
i love how this is a "mini" kit
Great video! Does anybody know what pitches he uses for the toms on this set?
His "mini" kit is twice the size of my regularly sized drumkit.
To me there's never been anything mediocre about his drumming
how bout playing it for us?
That's what I was expecting, what a let down!
mini? this fucking kit got more drums than i would ever want to play. goddamnit terry
that thousand cymbal stack tho. What the actual fuck Terry?
Yeah, pretty stupid.
Extra cymbals on one stand. Simple.
respect. he pretty much invented stacking in the 70s w zappa
this is cool man
The gigging country music drummers’ dream.
"You'll be playing this kit today, Terry."
"What?! There's only six toms, two snares, three bass drums and fourteen cymbals!? This is unacceptable! I need more stuff to hit!"
I'm so glad he utilized his talent so well on songs like ,"Do you hear me?"
That music stand idea is genius....lol
Thats a MINI KIT! Jesus man!!!!!!
i pictured the interviewer saying "mini kit" as dr. evil in the beginning haha
Ha ha!! It's still an enormous kit... but I guess it's 'mini' in comparison to that monster you normally see him in the centre of! It's like most of us referring to a tambourine as our 'mini' kits.
What kind of a Navigator do you have bozzio?
Most drummers have cymbal stands. Terry Bozzio has a cymbal tree 0.29
No conventional crashes at all! They are all his Sabian Radia cymbals
ive seen it. its fricking huge. you can look it up here on YT
Seems like such a nice guy
I'm having a serious Spinal Tap moment...lol
i like the little attachments of the bass drum beater, where do they sell it ?
he made those himself, they are on his site
I'd like to see his "Micro Kit".
Terry Bozzio's "Mini" (yeah riiiight) kit. Altough, on Terry's starndards, it's as small as a bongo will be for any other drummer
Terry sounds like a nice guy, actually after this i want to try something different on my drum set
"mini set"... He has more cymbals than my high school.
Quit rushing the legend!
is there a video of Terry actually playing this "mini" kit?
Hard to believe that he was in korn for a short while during the recording sessions of untitled
I couldn't have a kit that big. It would just piss me off having to assemble it all the time.
Super :)
TERRY UN AMIGO DE LA MASICA Y UN BATERISTA INQUIETO Y MUY MELODICO
The min kit ???!!!
can you tell me the branch or model of those mini clamps? I've never found one that fitted hihats and mounted on the drums
And in my mini drum kit you'll notice this cymbal stand that has 237 1/2 cymbals stacked on top of one another. I save the larger cymbal stands for my large kit.
I would love to see that fit in a navigator....
THE DRUMS ITSELF ARE SET LOW TO THE GROUND, I AM DIGGING THAT
Terry's mini kit is still...you know...big.
If that is a mini kit, mine is a mini micro subatomic-kit
He looks so different from the early 90s when he had that chain going from his nose to his ear.
He was Franks favorite drummer!
"So, aside from my main house, this is my 6,500 sq.ft mini house."
no cowbell
Is this mini? Fort is already finished.
That kit is still bigger than mine D:
Of Course there is a "Prototype High Hat " that was made in California that you can't get .
Shred Sixsixsix . Made in canada n you can get them. I had some
he also has the prototype first DW double bass pedals
I guess this is what he'd use if he ever goes to the International Space Station.
There's no way he can hit that splash without it banging into the rim of his snare.
jpcyphers it's a closed mini hat
My comments are only meant to be humourous. So Terrys wife is his roadie. and His small kit is bigger than my big KIt
I clicked on this before the thumbnail could load and was expecting some kind of 4-piece jungle kit. But, duh, this is the guy who played The Black Page...
He has more cymbals than is allowed by the Geneva convention!
