So I have personally had 3 sets of 35" toyo mtr's. I will say that as a personal preference, they will be the only tires i run on my f250. From my experience I will say that if you frequently rotate the tires they will last likely just as long as the rt. My last set had around 60k, with really about 6 months to another year of life in them but I decided to replace them to play it safe. When I transitioned to the 3 set I had tried the 35" toyo rt. I had them on the truck for about 2 weeks, and I really missed the aggressiveness of the mtr, so I switched back. Personally there was no real sound difference between the 2. I will say that the grip is far more significant on the mtr than the rt and the overall footprint is different. Although they were the same size, the rt seemed smaller. In my driveway the mtrs do mark it up when turning the tires vs the rt. Also as far as fuel economy, no difference between the 2. Just my opinion Eddie, so with that being said MTR is the only way to go on the new ram.
I have sum M/Ts and I love them tires there no where as loud as I thought they would be, as long as you rotate them every 3,000 to 5,000 miles you will be good.
I’m trying to decide between the MT’s and the RT’s. If the RT looked just a little bit more aggressive I would be sold but that MT is just so damn sexy looking! Great video!
I think it’s not really a fair comparison specially since both trucks have different wheel offsets so you are picking up the wind that sticks out the wheel wells just my opinion
I have the MT’s in 37’s and I’m sticking with them. My tire guy just tried to sell me on the RT’s, only like $2 more but I’d actually pay $100 more for the MT’s because they just look so much better.
I have a 2015 jeep wrangler sport unlimited. It has 35x12.5r20 mud claw MT tires. Being a jeep I rotated all 5 tires every oil change and got 80k miles on first set. Low tire noise. I just wished they didn't discontinued them. Now it's the mud claw II. They run $1300 for all 5
A couple last videos of the GMC! Im gonna miss that Duramax Eddie! I found your channel because I'm a major Duramax fan! hopefully I can get in to your new ram. Thanks for everything!
Sound meter didn't pick it up but..the it's were noticeably louder and had more vibration I was debating whether I should switch from the at2 to the rt but..nah I left that drone when I left my 20's at2 arent the best and dont come with as much meat but..they wear really well look good and are quiet.
Eddie before you kiss the Denali goodbye can you drop links in your description on the things you bought for it? Lift kit, rims, tuner, etc.. also excited to see how you build the ram All your vehicles are dope af
Well the reason why the decibels were the same is because the truck with the rt tires is deleted so therefore a lot of that noise is from the exhaust and engine
How’s the wet traction with the RT? Got the MT’s on my 2016 Ram and zero traction on wet pavement. Now that it’s deleted, it’s pretty ridiculous. I don’t think think The MT’s are too loud after 23k mi. and rotate every 4K.
Thank you for the video. I have the 33 on my ram the mt but they are unbearably loud and vibrate so much on the pedals and on the steering wheel. The sound I would compare it to being lauder than sitting on an airplane window seat next to the engine. I had the cooper at3 xlt before and were really quiet. I’m going to change them for the 305/55/20 which are a little larger than these 33.

I have M/t on both my personal and work truck. I have to say that there is some sound and vibration, but love the looks and the performance too.

The sound coming from both them diesels, is extremely exotic

Dittos .....mt here

Am I the only one who held my breathe when the decibel reader was getting the measurement 😂😂😂
yes haha

Please do the same sound test with the stock ram and the deleted ram on new wheels. Thanks
How did you get the main screen to display those parameters?
Noise tires are part of the coolness of MT’s !
Thanks for making comparisons on these tires I appreciate it much

u will man
Maybe a vid on the MT's vs Nitto Trail Grappler?
Good luck getting the nitto
These trucks have active noise cancellation. They are also pretty well sound proofed.
The RTs are 13.5 wide. That could make a world of a different. Still both truck and wheel setups look 👌🏽
My 19 250 has 64k miles. Bought it brand new November of 2018
Great video like always. You should of done an outside sound test, a drive by to hear the difference.
You guys are / were west bound on the 8 through El Cajon?

Can't decide whether a Mud Grap or Toyo MT
In terms of vibration, how bad is it? Do you feel it mostly in the steering wheel or is it the cab included?
Well the reason why the decibels were the same is because the truck with the rt tires is deleted so therefore a lot of that noise is from the exhaust and engine
Your engine still seemed a tad louder but like you said 3-4 dB doesn’t make a difference
Eddie started with MTs and switched to RTs... then realized he needed to go back to MTs so he sold the whole truck and started over again haha
Canadian Gearhead lmao
See my comments on your "Duramax saves the day" video. Stick with the MTs.
RTs are better on wet & ice driving?
What do you clean your tires with?
What do i think? Lol. I think you need to get your new ram allready. 🙈
JULIO ROMAN que pasa Julio
the first tires were about 1 db louder, and sounded slightly different pitch
The new toyo ht2 open country’s are nice👌🏻
Probably should have done a little research first. 3dBs is twice as loud. Looked like there was a 1dB difference so that 30%.
Exactly 💯

not sure in rain
How many miles they good for
nice looking trucks
I drive a 2016 n have 135k miles. Yea. Fuck my life. Living in rural New Mexico
“I gotta unlock my box” that’s what she said
Curious what the warranty difference is?
MT's have 0 warrantees RT's have a 50k warrantee
So sad to see her leave
Do you like the AT?
for street only yes
70 decibel is pretty loud. After a while that might wear someone down.
My ole 7.3 idles at 75 decibels. Driving 70mph its probably closer to 85 decibels. No wonder I am so tired all the time hahaha
Shoulda turned the A/C off in your truck too
He didn’t get very good mileage out of the first set
1,650 Firestone RT
Maxxis rzr mt .... quieter /cheaper/ last longer.
The R/T has a 40k mile warranty
45k actually for the RT
Can’t deal
With that at3 has 65k
I have 45k on my 2017 RAM, and runs like new
I only have 23 on my 2017. Its my weekend warrior.
Seatbelt buddy, we want these videos to keep on coming!!

MT actually a lil cheaper
35 " clappers
I think ford is a better truck
Chevy and can am owner. 😂 tracks
I have M/T's on my F250 and the tires is pulling the truck to the right. Do you guys have this same issue on your M/T's?
Yes that’s why I got rid of those tires
Wth I’m having the same problem
Chevy is better looking
