    Good information on the tire itself, Campus Automotive always delivers a solid breakdown. I spent some time behind the wheel testing during development with the all new RT Trail and pushed them pretty hard on pavement and dirt, I may have found my go to tire for awhile. Very linear, predictable with a great on center detent and clear directness. Ride and handling is well matched with surprisingly low NVH. Toyo just keeps stepping up there game.

    This looks like a fantastic tire. I love all the features and the look, and it definitely seems like it would be very durable. That's one thing I've gathered from the Overland and the rock crawling community, that Toyo tires are very durable. Load range E may be overkill, but I'm definitely going to consider a set of these next time my 4Runner needs tires.

    I’m a overlander, 11 months ago I installed Falken Wildpeaks AT3W 265/60/R18 on my light pickup truck. I’m towing a travel trailer that weighs 6000pounds. I rotate the tyres every 3000miles and now after 16000 miles the tyres are nearly worn out. I’ve travelled mostly on the black top with a bit of dirt road. Is this normal? What are your recommendations for tyres for towing?

    • @nobodyknows_115
      @nobodyknows_115 Год назад

      Definitely not normal for them to be worn out so easily. I think the best tires for toeing and hig load rating are thr ridge grappler. These should be a close Second but check your weight ratings for the tires. If your towing 6k pounds with a light truck your adding a good Amount of weight to the rear axels. Your gonna wear your tires faster. Check your alignment and suspension components aswell. Proper inflation is needed too. Lots of factors go into it, that could have contributed to the premature wear. Falken at3w were great on my last tundra and I towed with them for 10k miles and they still looked new with regular wear and tear.
