The Finnish version is very powerful, and it uses terms like 'saatana' (should be self-explanatory what that means) straight up with no padding. The great voice actor and singer behind that version, Ossi Ahlapuro, died a couple days ago. His voice was a big part of my childhood. May his soul rest in peace 😭
In the Dutch version, Frollo is voiced by an opera singer! Also, the man who voices the Dutch Clopin is *spectacular.* When he hits that high note - goosebumps.
CyrilNation, thank You for this reaction to different languages. It is very applausible what You do, just to let You know, the voice of Latin Spanish is or was the voice of my brother that past away in 2017. Fernando Escandon was his name, greetings from Mexico.
I love, love this song! It's beautiful in all languages but for me the best versions, counting both the interpretation and the suitability of the voice to the role are (without putting a ranking) : Italian (I'm Italian, so I often root for the versions in my language, but the Italian Frollo for me is really apt)! Russian Swedish Norweigian Polish But also in Castilian, Catalan, Danish, German, Greek, Latin Spanish, Maly, Mandarin, portugues, Korean, and turkysh they did a great job!
6:20 he didn't say "sign from hell", he said "Sign of Hades" btw. Although note that for Ancient Greece, the Domain of Hades was no different than hell.
As a side note here, the dude that did the Swedish version (Stefan Ljungqvist) is an actuall opera singer.

Rip 😞✊
Fr as a kid I was like "😧" when they actually used the word "satan" in the song.
The lyrics often are changed a little to fit the soundtrack. A literal translation often doesn´t fit or sounds bad

The Swedish one is just incredible.
I'm glad you like the French version! Jean Piat was also the French voice of scar... he unfortunately died in 2018 🥲
RIP 😞✊

Same with the Swedish version
Malay was really powerful but the swedish one Will always be the alltime favorit
All the other voice actors were very great in singing frollos part. Its actually pretty awesome.
Portuguese (Brazilian) is perfect! Love

The voice of the dub actor is chilling.
Half the European versions use actual opera singers for their VAs, so alot of them go pretty hard
Curiosidade, a versão brasileira foi considerada a melhor versão do mundo pela própria Disney

The Norwegian one is an Operasinger.
You know you have an intense song/performer if you can make it sound epic in dutch.
6:11 while hearing the greek version he really said 😳 Xd
The Hebrew version translated perfectly.
It was good to see this awesome song get some much needed attention👍

8:30 Latin Spanish ruling as always
Listen to the Latin version! It's pretty spooky.
You need to hear Tarzan music's in portuguese
React to "my mommy says she wishes you were dead" in different languages.
3:18 well duh. translated versions of specific words may not rhyme in other languanges so many have to improvise
