It’s absolutely gobsmacking that a song about unbridled lust and desire to possess and control, to force a woman to have sex with him or be burnt at the stake, made it into a Disney movie. Maybe they thought kids wouldn’t understand? This song wouldn’t make it into a Disney movie today. Latin american catholics may mot have the same level as scrutiny with their religious practices. Every latin country i know has different rules since they are all mixed with indiginous culture

Some catholic cointiees celebrate traditions and holidays others do not, becaise of culture. Also, catholicism is a mixture of pagan rituals as well. Old school catholicism is completely different than modern catholicism because of the mixture of cultures to conform to peoples superstitions

Spanish, French and Italian sound the most similar and flowy to Latin because they are the closest existing languages to Latin.
