It's lucky the paradigm didn't find out that caan had manipulated events to wipe out the daleks at the end of jorneys end having decided something radically wild-er than dalek sec, that the daleks shouldn't continue, I think the cult may have been separate from the pathweb
Food for thought: If the Doctor hadn't found another way to end the Time War and save Gallifrey, would the Daleks have survived at all? The moment seems like a much more powerful and final end then the Daleks just firing on each other. The Doctor has basically assured the Time War would never end by saving both Timelords and Daleks
Well, IMHO the cult of skaro were outside the universe at the time, to paraphrase the Doctor 'You could sit through the end of the universe and start of the next in there'. So I'd assume the cult would survive.
I feel like we could safely say that the daleks would of bounced back no matter what happened in the time war. Especially if you consider how the RTD era never considered such a major retcon like day of the doctor.
Dear god this three part series just shows me how complex and complicated the Dalek timelines are in ways I wasn’t already aware of I’d known the pre-time war Dalek timeline was chaotic but now I’m realizing that all the Dalek’s timelines are in chaos at every point you manage to put in ways I can understand but I still can’t explain it to other people, and this goes for time lords and their timelines too… it’s no wonder Donna’s head couldn’t handle the doctor’s mind my head is hell just trying to wrap my head around a fraction of this… you sir must be a genius and a great at one at that
Speaking of Dalek-Lore; wouldn’t it be fun to see inside of the dalek again? But with the Movellan Virus fighting/hijacking dalek antibodies? It would be nice to see the dalek immune system and how the movellans knew about the antibodies. The dalek antibodies look very powerful.
Another Dalek survivor is featured in the Doctor Who Quick Reads “I am a Dalek”. In it a dying Dalek imprints the Dalek Factor into a human (Kate) after she is struck and killed by a car. The dalek casing is unearthed from a Roman dig site and Kate starts getting influenced by the awakening Dalek Factor.
I still don't like the solution in Day of the Doctor. What about the Daleks that were on the ground on Gallifrey? Why was their entire race there? Why didn't they just stop shooting once Gallifrey was gone?
Apparently, the daleks on the surface had withdrawn back to the fleet. Futhermore , any surviving Daleks on the planet would've likely be executed or imprisoned in the matrix.
@HiperPivociarz The Daleks literally placed their entire army at Gallifrey. I think it's implied they had already gone insane by the end of the time war given how tatcially stupid doing that is, and how mad the Emperor and his inner cycle were during Parting of the Ways. It also possible any of the more rational parts of Dalek High Command, like The Time Stragists, The Prime Stragist, The Supreme Concuil, were already dead by this point, or had their advisement totally ignored by the Mad Emperor.
@HiperPivociarz I'm more able to accept this since the Daleks were fighting in this war for so long that they had long since become desperate and insane for a victory. Literally throwing every single complex and clever masterclass until they were reduced to a worn out fleet. Possibly already forming a cult around the Emperor just to keep themselves from breaking down. The way the Paradigms went out in time of the doctor tho.. pisses me off way more than Day of The Doctor's defeat.
I dont get how the daleks made from davros were impure. Like pure dalek dna is just mutated kaleds and thus cloned and muted davros cells would be pure. The only way it could be impure is if the mutations process was done incorrectly what is possible however if any one can do it right its davros. Another way to explain it is that davros may have given them cybernetics like he did to the imperial daleks and thus the paradigm would consider this to be impure
The episode is quite vague about that, it just says "thousands were created, all were lost, save one" It's possible that the Progenitors were made during the Time War to create the 'next step' of Dalek evolution, but something happened to them that derailed the plan and destroyed all the other Progenitors It's also possible that they came from Skaro, and were scattered across the universe as a means of ensuring that Dalek DNA would survive even if Skaro was destroyed
I still think it's cool that technically, the cult did fulfill their purpose with Caan jumpstarting the empire that would lead to the Paradigm empire.
It's lucky the paradigm didn't find out that caan had manipulated events to wipe out the daleks at the end of jorneys end having decided something radically wild-er than dalek sec, that the daleks shouldn't continue, I think the cult may have been separate from the pathweb
@@theentity5201 well that was their purpose
To think outside the box and be more independent thinkers

You are now ready to teach these beings THE LORE OF THE DALEKS!
THE LORE OF THE DALEKS IS IN FORCE!
Specialist subject on Mastermind.

Oh now we’re doing multi part videos?
*Fantastic!*
Also don’t forget the survivors from “I am a Dalek” and “The Dalek Transaction”
"It's time we teach these human beings the LORE OF THE DALEKS"

Another awesome video! You should do one about the Dalek spaceships! :)
A little correction on the Genesis Ark
It was a Time Lord prison ship containing millions of Daleks
Great video now do the many different colours of the daleks
I never understood fully that part about Kahn, thanks
Amazing dude 👏
Next do a video about the dalek mutants on screen

@@robotx9285 I hate that. That's such contirved writing, and such a disappointing resolution to the Time War.

Do we have an explanation for where the progenitor came from?
If previously they we out of viable genetic material?
