55 was my first car love em
It’s been the must have car for me since I was a kid.
Yeah, stop being hard headed. You know I’d be there if I wasn’t 12 hrs to the west, we love this ish!!!
Hate to ask for help because Iam always worried that I may not be available to return the favor. Then I become that guy lol.
It’s like my father in law took that thing apart. He bagged and tagged EVERYTHING. It sure helps with going back together, not to mention he has a damn near photographic memory, mainly when it comes to where he put something, not necessarily how it goes back together. But that definitely helped us when I was putting the 54 Ford Coupe back together.
I better tag, bag and leave a note on the wall where I put all the tagged and bagged stuff or Iam in trouble lol.
The old '55 looks great sitting there in the shop. That body cart definitely needs some TLC. Trust you all are feeling better and had a good Christmas and New Years. Look forward to seeing more. Catching up on videos again. Be safe and stay well.

Great video! I have a 55 Chevy 210 2 door post. My car had been sitting since 1973, it was in North Dakota on a farm site....It took about 1 year to make it roadworthy and some $$$, but it was worth it!
I can’t wait to drive this thing, I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel yet but Iam trying.

Don’t keep putting that guy off, drag it into the shop. That’s the cheapest Milwaukee ratchet, I can’t imagine how much I’d like the good one. Thank for watching, I’ll try to keep them coming pretty regularly

Great to see the old 55 in the shop. Lots of good parts to work with. Never fun being sick sometimes just getting out in the shop makes you feel better.

That mess lasted for well over a week, glad it’s gone now! Hopefully I can do pretty regular videos on the 55, I’ll have to do some careful planning.

You gotta have a hoist you could of lifted that body with. That floor jack took forever.
The front body mounts weren’t attached since someone hadn’t finished that firewall replacement, that would have been where I’d used the cherry picker. Honestly i really didn’t think that would take nearly as long as it did lol. By the time I finally got it on that body cart I was thinking yep Iam ready to sell it 😂😂
@@LeftForDeadGarage I was thinking I'm ready to sell mine even before I got started. Don't know what I was thinking starting a major project at my age.
@stoneyswolf I keep telling myself to just slap this thing together and go drive it. Trying to build something actually nice is something new to me, has me worried that nice will take me to long to do.
You could probably use some extra cash. I’ll come get the orange truck anytime you say😳
A smart guy would thin out serval projects I have around here.

H.G. What is the big plan for the 55? Color, engine, trans etc?
I’ve got a couple of color’s slightly in mind but that’s a long way off. Hopefully I’ll have enough engine parts in to go over the motor plans in the next video.
