    This scarf looks very nice. Just can't comprehend all the issues Sentro machines have, why new machine knitters keep. buying this machine. Save up, or get one of those pre-approved credit cards, and buy the Addi machine. You"ll be Glad you did. I know l am.

    One think I have found helps is to use the big black binder clips for paper once you have a few rows. The weight puts just enough tension.

    Thanks, it is nice to see a scarf joined with a straight edge. All other videos I have seen the ends were gathered. I have just finished knitting my drop stitch scarf. I plan to join the edges with Kitchener stitches (I will have to revise that technique!!) after putting one twist in it so it will be a true infinity scarf. True infinity (Moebius) circle is really fascinating as there is only one edge! As a maths teacher my pupils were fascinated with the puzzle. I got them to join a long narrow rectangle of paper end to end but with a twist in it and then cut half way along the whole circle. They expected to have two circles buti It is still a circle! Cut it again and it is still a circle! It truly has only one edge!

I’m wondering if you’ve ever had this happen on a drop stitch scarf? I’m not sure how it’s going to look…or where my knot from the join will end up - yikes! I’m going to go ahead and finish…

    Maybe do another video from start to finish showing all the steps?🧐
    I am a beginner using an Addi machine… I really like the flat edge seam on this scarf. I’ve made one with the gathered edges that I added a pom-pom to each end and made it an open wrap scarf, just because I didn’t like the gathered ends joining.

      It won’t affect it at all. Just make your knot really tight cause you have no where to hide ends and you
      will need to cut the yarn close to the knot. There is a way to join to colors and then keep knitting. I haven’t learned that yet. Lol

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  Год назад

      Are you still wanting a flat edge. If so then take a long piece of yarn (different color) on a needle and pick up every stitch on the top row. It will be the same as having waste yarn. Then close it as a flat edge as you normally would.
      If you want a gathered edge then you have done it right.
      As long as you picked up every stitch nothing will unravel! 🥰
