Materials Needed:
- 1 Skein of Big Twist Soft Yarn in Cream (Medium 4 Weight Yarn, 100% acrylic, 6oz, 320 yards) found at Joann's or check yarnsub.com for a similar yarn
- Addi Express King Size 46 Pin or 48 Pin Circular Knitting Machine
- 5mm Knitting Needles, or 22 Pin Circular Knitting Machine
- 2 - 1" Wooden Buttons
- Tapestry Needle
- Small Amount of Waste Yarn in Contrasting Color
- Small Crochet Hook
- Scissors

- Finished Scarf Length with Fringe - 47"
- Body of Scarf 42"L x 6"W

Can you give a demonstration on how to do it on the 22 pin circular knitting machine for the button loop
I am a beginner waiting on my first machine. How would you make the button loop on the machine? Could you do a video of how to do that on the machine? Or if you know of a video pass it along please?
From following the video after completing the 200 rows on the 46 needle Addi, you would start off with waste yarn on the 22 needle machine, knit 40 rows add waste yarn then turn it off the machine crochet the ends together (just like you did for one end of the scarf) then continue following the directions.
Anyone try Crocheting the button end piece ?

could you use the panel function on the knitting machine to make the button loop?
Is there anyway to crochet this button loop?? I dont know how to knit.
Is there a way to use the 46/48 machines to make the button loop? Perhaps by using the panel function? Thinking 20 stitches/40 rows? I'm very new! Hope this makes sense
Yes im fairly sure you can make a panel of any size on the 46/48 machine to make the panel. I have watched others do the same sort of thing but havent tried myself as im new to knitting machines. I will be trying that out with this scarf over the coming weeks 😁
