@@thelostpsychosis honestly Adam was Three Days Grace, without him, even if the other musicians are OG's, it's not the same. Some of their songs are ok but I still can't kick the fact that Adam isn't singing. A drummer can quit and be a drummer for a different band effortlessly, a singer.... eh.
Alongside Linkin Park and Escape The Fate, Three Days Grace with Adam Gontier forever solidified my love for the rock genre when I was a kid. One-X is still one of my all time favs regardless of genres. Seeing him return to the band would be a dream.

Saw Three Days Grace last night in Huntsville, Alabama. Adam came out and sang Never Too Late and Riot. The crowd went absolutely insane. Wasn’t expecting that at all

I love how Adam is so electric with his singing voice and his normal speaking voice is so calm.
Music is his passion, and he is a passionate person but I definitely think he knows more how to sing than to talk which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just how he is.
Even way back during Groundswell’s “Wave of Popular Feeling”, I’m not sure if he wrote the lyric but in the song “Eddie” one of the lyrics goes “Tell me something about him, ‘cause music’s his only friend” and I took that as Adam talking about himself since Adam and Eddie are similar names. Just a guess though, if there’s any confirmation or debunking anywhere, I haven’t found it.

Gontier is definitely a great singer. After voices like Chester from Linking Park I’d say Gontier is definitely next on my list. The raspiness of his voice can’t be compared.
If you want good voices, check out Tetrarch. Their lead singer has a voice similar to Chester but the music style is way different, Tetrarch is a phenomenal band.
Im a bit surprised that Chester wasnt mentioned in the interview. Im hoping Adam and Chester were friends in life and ive wondered how adam took the loss of Chester when Chester passed away?

He seems like a nice guy , looks like he’s an introvert, but when he sings he is a transformation in totality. How beautiful is that .
I was upset originally when Adam left the band. But the new sound of three days grace is still kinda on point, and Adam's new group blows my mind. I'd love to see a reunion, but not desperate for it, if that makes sense.
A collab would be awesome, but i feel its better to just have the 2 bands as is. Why lose 1 when we can have both? I love all 3DG albums, old and new. Saint is really good aswell, and i dont see why adam should leave saint
@@odding3472 What would REALLY be interesting, is if they did a collab project where they change personnel on each song. Have one, or both, guitarists, one of the drummers, one or both vocalists, and one of the bassists on one track, and then change it up on the next track... etc.
Saint Grace would be a sick idea.
I love both bands so much that I don't see this being a bad idea from any angle.
The new TDG sounds shit. The new singer cant sing any of the good old songs.
Three Days Grace instrumentally always sounds great but the new guy isn't good because he sounds like he is doing a Adam Gontier impression. It sounds like off-brand Adam. I am sure he is a great singer when he sings in his own range and what comes naturally for him, but he isn't a clone of Adam.
You take the best singer in the world and tell him to replace someone unique like Michael Jackson or Freddie Mercury, they won't sound as good as themselves or the person they're trying to mimic.
@John Red you'll never find someone who sounds exactly alike. They tried. The music sound is still relatively the same
Saint Asonia is one of the most underrated bands on the planet. The same could be said about Three Days Grace with Matt Walst as their lead singer.
It's kind of a Two and a Half Men situation. We love Matt, we just miss Adam.

Hearing him sing Three Days Grace's songs at inkcarceration brought tears to my eyes and he came on the stage with Breaking Benjamin and they played Dance With The Devil🤘

It was so good I screamed my heart out during dance with the devil. Would’ve been more enjoyable if people weren’t crowdsurfing every 5 seconds and mosh pits on both sides of us so we couldn’t move over just a bit

I didn’t listen to them for 4 years after he left, him leaving broke my teenage heart. I refused to accept Matt Walst, but I gave in when Outsider came out. I saw them live for the first time on the Breaking Benjamin tour in 2019 and Matt killed it!
@@BIGMAMAC00M oh yeah i bet he "killed it" for sure. i had to sit through that bar band when they opened for disturb. some people are musicians like van gogh is an artist and some are like my 2 year old son with his crayons. adam is on the van gogh level when it comes to music. his writing discipline is above and beyond.

Adam is my all time favorite singer, song writer, hell he's my role model. His music has got me through so much shit it's unreal. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him and his music. I'd love to see some sort of Get back together tour with him and the rest of the guys in 3DG. That would be sick to see him and Matt killing it on stage together with Brad, Barry and Neil. Hell even if they just did a one off album or E.P together I think I would honestly faint XD

My first concert was in 2007 and it was Red opening for 3 Days Grace, Seether, Breaking Benjamin. My most memorable concert.

I've been a huge 3DG fan since day one but never got to meet Adam until a Saint Asonia tour . Adam is the kindest most amazing talented musician I have ever met. Only LEGIBLE autograph I have ever gotten. It shows he truly cares about his loyal fans❤️
He was a reason I would put on the rock station in the car back when I was a kid. Would love to see Adam back.
Biggest thing people forget. His presence in thousand foot Krutch and saint Asonia. The fact is when Adam gontier touches a musical project there is always a chance for it to blow up. Look at his feature with apocalyptica. Him returning to three days grace is a dream, but he’s just as important in those other bands too

Saw Saint Asonia open for Alter Bridge in like 2016- wasnt ever a fan of 3 days but they played “Just like You” and I saw EVERYONE in the crowd stand up and sway their arms to that song! It was so powerful and he just Rocked it onstage man! Wow. I went out and bought SA album and Three days the next day! I (and I went for AB haha)

Man I’ve seen three days grace twice with Adam as their lead singer. Two unforgettable shows. Both concerts they had breaking Benjamin with them. Two of my top five rock bands, I mean what else could you ask for. I’d give just about anything to see them live again.

When the interviewer said "that would be big" you could tell by Adam's tone and body language that he KNEW it would be big, which is something he earlier said he tended not to try and think about. There will definitely be a 3DGxSA Collab at some point.
If i have to be honest, i wouldn't mind if he won't rejoin 3dg. He is doing wonderful with Saint Asonia and Matt is doing wonderful as well with 3dg. Altough seeing Adam and Matt on the same stage would be the most epic thing ever!
Seen TDG twice with Matt on vocals and they’re some of the best shows I’ve ever been to.

glad seeing adam in dad mode it seems great. i know personally dealing with my own demons with or without kiddos hard to quit why they say gotta do it for you then the rest follows. much love and respect to him he helped me alot growing up and i miss em like crazy. and yeah his voice is amazing love breaking benjamin three days grace a7x like they were all i had so idk hits different. i do miss the three days grace sound as much as everyone but i support adam in whatever project he does and wish him the best with his future songs stories he tells hopefully my kiddos enjoy it later on as much as i did. personally when he delves deep into that emotion and issues it is the most relatable and you not only hear the vocals but feel them imo.

Never Too Late helped me through my teens and will Always hold a Special place in my heart, Song's like Never Too Late, Pain, Break, Misery Loves My Company, etc, have played a Crucial part in my life! Even his newer stuff like, Devastate, and Rise Above!

I watched earlier this morning, thank you for interviewing Adam i been a fan of his since Three Days Grace's self titled album (I think it was?) that features songs like "Home" and "Now or Never" and i been listening to his new project Saint Asonia after he left Three Days Grace, too. :)

Adam literally has a once in a generation vocal talent. A lot of vocalist use effects to sound like him. Adam, Layne, Shaun, Chris, Eddie, Chester, Corey & Jonathan from Korn all stand out to me more than anybody else. Long live these legends!! Adam needs one more album with TDG. Just one more album.. do it for us! Idk what I would do without their music..
I havent watched the full video yet but i think some sort of collab from the 2 singers would be awesome but I think the best we can hope for is a 3DG and Saint Asonia tour. Would be the greatest tour ever if they did 3DG, MDD, Saint Asonia, Staind, Adelitas Way and Art of Dying as a tour considering how each band shares a member or 2 with another

I would love to see Adam and Matt do a 3DG song along the same vein of Killswitch with Jesse and Howard. Matt has really made 3DG his own thing so the whole "this guy over that guy" never made sense to me.
That would be horrible. Matt is not a good singer. I saw them live in 2013 when he was pretty new an I’ve never listened again. Just Awful, he butchers those classic songs
@@AarosConcerts I caught them twice in late 2019. He was fantastic both times. Early when he joined he was not good. The new stuff they put out recently is great.

@@muzlee7479 His voice is totally different from Adam's. He's also A LOT more active on stage. I still prefer Adam as a singer but Matt brings a ton of energy to the live performance and his voice has drastically improved. It's just 2 very different versions of 3DG.

I truly cannot stress enough the relief of knowing at least one singer in one band I liked as a teenager (and still enjoy) has not been outed as either a piece of shit groomer, pedophile, or whatever other kind of human garbage profited from the emo/rock scene of my teen years. I'm 31 now and I was actually sick to my stomach trying to figure out what some of these guys were up to and learning of the things they'd done. So glad these guys have always seemed to be decent people that I don't have to worry much about checking in on in 7-10 years and finding out they're in prison for touching kids or some shit. Hallelujah.
Now only that but long after Three Days Grace first caught my ear, I caught my own addiction and spiraled until my body was ready to give in and heroin was so close to almost killing me. So listening to their music now, especially the songs I loved then, gives those songs a special kind of relief, meaning, and level of understanding that I never would have otherwise had. The way those songs made me feel then and now will always have this very special place in my heart.
Ps-anyone still out there and young, don't do drugs.. no matter how cool you think it is at the time. Might as well buy a death certificate and just sign that instead..

Just saw him at Inkcarceration. It was great to hear him sing some TDG songs as part of his set.
When Saint Asonia first started I could never get into them but one day I bought there debut album I sat down and listened to it and I loved it from Adam's singing to Mike Of Staind's guitar playing I was hooked when they released there 2nd album I loved it even more I like how he collaborated with Sharon from the band Within Temptation on the one song if you never heard of them I highly recommend checking them out you won't be disappointed I then I went back and listened to 3DG with there new singer Matt and then I was like nah without Adam it's not 3DG no disrespect to Matt love him as a singer he was good fronting the band Dark New Day which I wish he didn't leave but Adam skill is very very unique that's why I love him in 3DG.

I like modern three days grace. But I still prefer Adam over Matt. I always loved Adam's vocals and work. It's just something special that he has that makes it for us to love and support. I always stayed loyal to his music. I never get tired of listening to his music. He rocks the fuck out of the place 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I actually know how they named the band. They had some illegal issues and another band member from Antics, Mika, mentioned they have 3 days grace to deal with the issue.
