Angelica O'Connor you're right. Adam wasn't off-key; he missed a couple notes, but he was singing impromptu and acoustic when the song was not originally recorded as such. Furthermore, he probably had to keep his voice restrained somewhat so as to not disturb other patients in the hospital.

My cousin had been very ill, when we were children. But he was such a strong soul, he did it. Now he's a musician himself. And a doctor. But he'd never been a badass.

When I had the honor to meet him last October I was sooverwhelmed w/ emotion that I couldn't speak
legend is what this band is.
It was probably hell of awkward for both Adam and the kid but it all came out really well in the end. Kamron's mind probably went blank for a moment from the shock that Adam visited him, not that he didn't knew Adam, I think. But I was really surprised and really nice to see that he cares so much of his fans. Will hope for the best for both of their futures and hopefully will be able to go to one of Adam's concerts also if he will be performing somewhere close.

I would have cried of happiness, hugged him (if he was okay with that), tried to remind myself that I need to inhale instead of excessively exhale due to quiet squealing, then cry even more. How was he a "huge fan of the band" when he didn't know who Adam was? If he didn't know Adam he wouldn't know any of the other members either. Yeah, he's gone through a lot but he could've shown some respect for Adam, he was on his phone the whole time, even when Adam sang Never Too Late for him. I'm guessing he couldn't play Riot or World So Cold because of their guitar tunings either. That sucks. Maybe the kid would be more excited to hear those particular songs. But no hate towards the kid, he's great, been to hell and back more than once. Adam was awkward throughout the whole thing because the kid was so unresponsive lol. He kept trying to start a conversation but eventually gave up and just decided to play. Haha.
I believe Adam also couldn't play Riot or World so Cold because they are much more difficult songs to play, especially alone, when there is two guitars, and vocals involved. Give the kid a break, he's been through a lot. He even said he wanted to get out of there when Adam asked how he felt.

This is a wonderful video, and it proves that Adam Gontier is just as incredible a person as he is a singer. I mean, he came to hang out with a fan at the hospital, had to hold back tears as he read the kid's story online and filmed the whole thing not to gain praise, but to bring awareness. And that whole time, he was so nice to Kamron, too. Seriously, this man is a fucking angel! A lot of hate is being thrown in Kamron's direction, I've noticed. Is it blown out of proportions? A little bit, but it's not entirely unwarranted, and I say that as respectfully as possible because he's got a lot of problems. I mean, one one hand, not knowing Adam's name is understandable. I first heard his music at 7 and I didn't know that his name was Adam until I was 14, and it was because I was scrolling through the comments of the "Animal I Have Become" video. And yeah he doesn't seem that excited about Adam being there, though to be fair, he isn't feeling too well and seemed a lot happier at the concert. He might also be socially awkward, I know I was at that age (still kind of am). Plus, I'd be happy for sure, but I certainly wouldn't know how to react if Adam Gontier walked into my hospital room just to hang out with me. On the other hand, the one action I can't defend is playing on his phone while Adam sang Never Too Late to him. Not gonna lie, that was pretty rude. I do hope he's doing better, though. Either way, this video is amazing, and it's exactly why I aspire to be like Adam. :)

If Adam sang any song to me I would be so happy. I’m a true fan because I know almost all of their songs. I know the names and faces of the band and I can sing along to the whole One-X album. Every car ride I listen to Three Days Grace. Every walk to school, every free time I have, I’m even listening to Over and Over right now. I love Three Days Grace. I wish Adam was still in the band though.
