It's so trajically funny how the NIFB calls you a false teacher simply because you don't teach a sinner's prayer for salvation.
The purpose of Romans 10: 8, 9, 10, is to put all of your confidence (trust) in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
I mean Acts 16: 31 is pretty clear.
Also the book of John says believe about 99 times, no mention of a sinner's prayer or any formula.
Anyway, good video brother and please keep up the good work.

I absolutely cannot stand it when Christians who preach the same message of faith alone make sermons and videos "exposing" each other. Petty childish bickering. We're all we have and the world hates us, why should we bite and devour one another? John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." And yes, a prayer is not necessary for salvation. It's faith in Jesus Christ that would compel someone to pray to begin with.

All who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved. Man’s physical act of baptism saves no one. To believe so goes against the whole purpose of Jesus. Upon profession of faith, one should be baptized to tell others you believe in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. I believe a person who goes into baptism thinking this is their salvation is not truly saved. Christ alone will save you. He was sinless, paid the price on the cross to be buried and rose from the grave.

The key verse in all this is Acts 10:43 kjv which clearly shows us that remission of sins only comes through faith in the messiah Jesus Christ. Peter was clear on how men were to be saved before he spoke in Acts 2:38 KJV
He said to call on the name of the Lord to be saved. He never said to receive water baptism to be saved.
And if one looks at Peter calling for the baptism of repentance for remission of sins you have to find out how remission of sins comes. And again, Acts 10:43 is the answer as we're shown that faith in Christ is how one receives remission of sins. Thus, Acts 2:38 is speaking about receiving the baptism of the Spirit through repentance a change of mind from rejecting Christ to believing on him for remission of sins. And then we see in verse 41 that they all get water baptized. This is very similar to the Ethiopian in Acts 8:36-38 and to the gentiles in Acts 10:47-48 KJV God clearly has an order and he gave revelation to Paul to warn us not to exalt the act of water baptism over the power of the gospel. 1 Cor 1:14-17 KJV

16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

I see it as just as Noah was saved by the Ark, in Christ we are saved. So the Ark is being paralleled with Christ. The “baptism” is not speaking of a literal baptism by water (the removal of the filth of the flesh), but a baptism through faith in Christ. When we believe in Christ, our conscience is cleansed (the actual “baptism” spoken of here). This correlates to Jesus giving those who believer “living water” via the Holy Spirit, Who makes us clean. It’s a cleaning of the heart in regards to coming to Christ via faith, not a cleaning of the flesh via a physical baptism.

Baptism comes as a result of faith in Christ Jesus. The bible is clear when Peter states, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). It is the Holy Ghost that comes into the Believer that gives us a good conscience. God stated in the Old Testament, He would give us a new heart and a new mind; “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).

      Acts 2:38 (KJV) says:
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
The word “repent” means to “change your mind.” What is one changing their mind about? Their lack of belief. They change their mind from unbelief to belief in Christ.
Next, the statement “and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins” is not saying baptism is required for salvation, as many false teachers claim. The word “for” in Greek, which is “eis” does not means “in order to get/receive,” it means “because of” or “in regards to.” In other words, the verse is saying, “because of/in regards to your belief and having been forgiven of your sins and thereby being saved, be baptized.” Salvation comes upon belief in Christ, and baptism is an outward expression of that belief, therefore you are saved before you are baptized, which Acts 2:38 makes clear, as well as future verses in Acts, such as Acts 3:17-26 and Acts 4:8-12 which infers no other implication than the fact that belief precedes baptism.
Lastly, the “remission of sins” takes place upon one’s faith in Christ, as stated in Acts 3:26 and Acts 4:12, as well as Acts 10:43. None of those verses speak of baptism, because baptism is not a requirement but a result of having salvation, and this is made undeniably clear in Acts 10:47.

@@Nighhhts If you BELIEVE the gospel and have quoted Acts 2:38, you should be baptized to be saved. You see, a person cannot be saved until they receive the Holy Ghost which came from the crucifixion of Jesus Christ; that is when conversion takes place. Jesus Christ Himself told Peter, "but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren (Luke 32). After Christ Jesus was crucified, died, and resurrected, He instructed the Apostles to wait until they received power from above, which is the Holy Ghost, that is what changes a person's mind, heart, and directs our every lives; "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49). In the Old Testament, God states, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). Faith is given through the hearing of the Word of God, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). If a Believer truly believes the gospel and Christ Jesus tells us in the Great Commission to, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19). Now the Apostles waited until they received the Holy Ghost in Pentecost before beginning their ministry. Salvation goes hand in hand with Faith and Baptism. You cannot have one without the either. In Romans, the Apostle Paul talks about how we are buried in death with Christ through BAPTISM. And as we are buried with Him, we will also be resurrected through Him unto salvation; "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life" (Romans 6:4). Friend, if you don't want to be baptized, then that is your issue, but don't stop those that want to get baptized as the lawyers of this world want to do; "Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered" (Luke 11:52). I can go in depth with you even more, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Baptism is essential for salvation into Christ Jesus and those that aren't shall be damned, "And he said unto them,Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned" (Mark 16:15-16). The Gospel can't be any clearer than that. Peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you....Amen! Amen!!!

You’re not saved by baptism, you’re saved by belief alone. You should get baptized, but you’re saved regardless. Water Baptism is an outward expression of faith. “Baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit” is a spiritual baptism, not a water baptism. By your logic, the man on the cross next to Jesus isn’t saved because he wasn’t baptized in water. Water Baptism is NOT essential for salvation, salvation comes by faith in Christ, as stated over 100 times in the Bible, that’s all that’s required; saying otherwise is denying clear Scripture. You also seem to take verses out of context, applying them to eternal salvation, although they clearly have nothing to do with eternal salvation, thus you are adding to God’s Word.

Baptism is a picture of our death, burial and resurrection unto a new life that took place when one has trusted Jesus as their Saviour and it is to be public letting others know of our trusting Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Water baptism can never wash away our sins only the blood of Jesus has nothing about it that can saves us. Baptism is a commandment for every believer to do, not inorder or in addition to be saved. What Jesus accomplished at the cross is all sufficient, complete, finished and God all he demanded to save us and he will accept nothing else or any addition, requirement for man to be saved. Im doing a study on the apostle John's letters. Basically it seems that John is concerned about believers being seduced by another gospel. He makes a point that we can only have fellowship with God so long as we are in Christ. Jesus was God's light to the world and if we have that light in our hearts we are no longer in darkness. To walk in the light is to walk (believe) in Christ as our Saviour. Keeping the commandments are one and the same as believing in Jesus as the one who is the propitiation for our sins (1 John 2 v 2). "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1 v 9). It seems that the hating of his brother (1 John 2 v 9) are those who are those who are causing others to stumble and are in darkness. He talks of those who went out from them who are the anti Christs ie opposed to Christ because they were self righteous. They loved the world and the teachings of the world that denies Christ as Saviour.

Hmm…. Interesting take. This is the first time I’ve ever heard anyone teach this verse this way. Even from trinitarian and oneness views that I’ve heard have all said the “putting away of the filth of the flesh” doesn’t mean sins, it means baptism isn’t a physical body cleansing. ESV “Not as a removal of dirt from the body”
NIV “Not the removal of dirt from the body”
NLT “Not by removing dirt from your body”
And so on, I think you get my point.
But this verse lines up clearly with what Jesus said in Mark 16:16 “He that believeth AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED…”
Acts 2:38 “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS….”
Col 2:11-12 “In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:”
12 “Buried with him in baptism,……”
And there are other verses but I think the bible is pretty clear baptism is important. And as far as 1 Peter 3:21, if baptism was just a statement of our faith, why would it then give us a clear conscience towards God? Unless it is saying what the rest of the bible is saying, that it is for the remission of sins, therefor, because our sins are forgiven it gives us a clear conscience towards God. Which makes the verse very clear as to why Peter said “baptism doth also now save us…”. As far as your video goes, you still failed to explain why Peter would even use the language that baptism saves us, if in fact it doesn’t. Thanks. God bless.

I see that no one has answered you. Huh 🤔 I wonder why?I would like to add a few more to further your point! Romans 6 starting in verse one we are baptized into His death and buried with Him and rise to walk in newness of life! If we were already born again why would we be dying and rise to walk in yet another new life??? If baptism is where we die and are buried and rise doesn’t that sound like the Gospel Of Christ which Paul declares to be the death burial and resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15 1-4. Now look a 2Thessalonians 1:7-8 which says if we know not God or if we don’t Obey the Gospel then He will take vengeance on us!!!!! Obey the Gospel? The death burial and resurrection? Yes that starts At baptism when we die and are buried and rise again In Newness of Life !! I wanna try to make it more clear so now look At Ephesians 1:3 which say that ALL spiritual blessing are IN CHRIST. So there are any outside of Him. Now how do we get any spiritual blessing? Well we have to be IN Christ!! Galations 3:27 we are baptized INTO CHRIST!!!!!! Before baptism it is impossible to be saved because Salvation is The Spiritual Blessing!!!!!!!!!!! We have to take the scripture As the Word of God and Know it Can’t Contradict itself!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes we have to believe to be saved!!!! Yes we have to repent or perish! Luke 13:3. Yes we must confess that He is the Son of God and Yes we Must Be baptized to be saved!!!!!!

A person must be “baptized” to be saved, but it has nothing to do with water. The proof is found below.
Old Covenant Baptism vs. New Covenant Baptism (water vs. Spirit)
Water baptism was a part of the Old Covenant system of ritual washing. The Old Covenant priests had to wash before beginning their service in the temple. (Ex. 30:17-30) When Christ was water baptized by His cousin John in the Jordan River, He was under the Old Covenant system. He also only ate certain foods, and wore certain clothes, as prescribed by the 613 Old Covenant laws. Christ was water baptized by John and then the Holy Spirit came from heaven. (Acts 10:38) The order is reversed in the New Covenant. A person receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion, and then believers often declare their conversion to their friends and family through a water baptism ceremony. Which baptism makes you a member of Christ’s Church?
The New Covenant conversion process is described below. (Born-again)
Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
(A person must “hear” the Gospel, and “believe” the Gospel, and will then be “sealed” with the Holy Spirit.)
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(See Jer. 31:34 for the New Covenant promise, and 1 John 2:27 for the fulfillment)
      ============
Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
      What did Peter say below?
Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 1:5, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water/ every time they read the word "baptize" in the text.
Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
      Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
      Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (See 1 Cor. 12:13)
      “baptize” KJV
Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Water or Holy Spirit?, See Eph. 1-13.)
Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
      Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (See Eph. 4:1-5)
Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (Old Covenant ----> New Covenant)
What does it mean to be "quickened" by the Spirit in the verse below?
1Pe 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

The amount of mental gymnastics you evangelicals have to go through to "refute" as position that was taught by the Church (universally) for 1500 years is astonishing to me.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that the crux of your argument relies on your interpretation of "the removal of dirt from the body".
First though lets walk through the verse.
"21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ" (NASB)
First it is clear that the action being done in this verse is done by baptism. This evidenced by verse 20. Now baptism saves us as a secondary cause, meaning that God uses baptism as a vessel to deliver salvation to His people.
Now the crux of your argument seems to be as mentioned above, that the "removal of dirt from the flesh" does not refer to the removal of sins. There's nothing in this verse that warrants your interpretation of that phrase. And if you were to interpret that phrase in such a manner, it would contradict Acts 2:38.
Now as I've stated above, water baptism is clearly defined as the secondary cause of salvation. Any view to the contrary is indefensible. Another factor of this verse is that you seem to miss an important part of this verse. We are told HOW baptism saves us: it is the appeal to God for a new consciousness. When you interpret "not the removal of dirt from the flesh" properly, this verse creates a detailed explanation of baptismal regeneration. What saves us? Baptism. How? As an appeal to consciousness, not in anything inherent in the water.

Why did you place the word "water" in front of "baptism". Why did you not place the word "spiritual" in front of baptism. Such as, " Corresponding to that, *(spiritual)baptism(into Christ) now saves you-* not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ". The eight souls saved in the Ark(which represents being in Christ) did not get wet.

@@apologiaromana4123 The only baptism that saves is the spiritual baptism into Christ. It is grace that God gives to move someone to salvation, sanctifying grace is the grace given to us at our baptism, that grace saves.
