I would love to get the HPI Vorza S truggy but it seems to sit a lil to low for me and does not have a center brace ! Nor can I find a after market center brace. I use to own a savage 4.6 nitro. Whats the most durable 1/8th truggy on the market right now ?

@@RCDUDE81 I want chassis slap?. If you have a moment can you tell us why?. -i got my set up to when the absorber kicks in it'll prevent chassis slap under med load but under extreme it'll compress to the chassis but with added cushion provided by the bump stop.
@@surfside75 Yeah nothing wrong with a bump stop as long as the chassis still bottoms out under hard compression. If not it puts all the strain on the shocks and standoffs. The chassis absorbs the bulk of the hit on big sends! Nice plush shocks help too. I run them on the front to prevent the shafts from popping out.
@@3drc681 👊 I just ordered another 6s wing mount and 8s bumper brace, thank you for the amazing parts. I've seen my wing mount take some insane hits with very very little damage after many brutal hits haha

My most reliable go to rc has been the losi 8t e buggy. Great to see a losi truggy in action and the talion looks like it handles similar. Awesome bash dude !
Honestly 2 total different rides! The Sledge will be better all around for off road bashing. The Talion will be great for smooth surfaces and big jumps! Both are great but the Sledge will need upgrades especially the motor mount and spur gear!

Was deciding between Kraton and Talion EXB. Leaning toward Talion. Wouldn’t you recommend to just get regular versions since seems full M2C full basher kit is way to go? An since people are changing the diffs to regular ones anyways and M2C parts are best?? Thanks!

Awesome video, which of the two (Talion vs 8ight XTE) would you prefer for overall fun factor? Money isn’t an issue since I already have the Losi XTE kit sitting in its box waiting for me to either keep it or return it for a Talion EXB. I also have a Kraton 6s EXB but want something a bit lower, lighter with nibble steering, Which would you prefer and why? Thanks in advance.
For bashing you can't go wrong with the Talion! The Losi bashes too but don't jump too big or hard wreck it! It has a couple weaknesses although it is a beautifully made car! Perfect for racing and moderate bashing.
Usually cogging is a bad motor or a motor overgeared. It can in some cases be a bad ESC so all you can do is try hooking up a different motor and see if it still does it.
@@RCDUDE81 i was told it was delayed feedback from the motor to the esc. but i was running a 19 tooth pinion gear with the bigger spur gear . also its an outcast so i think the heavy backflip tires are the problem to.
Yeah running large tires will definitely cause cogging if over geared. Bigger tires also increases gear ratio. Imo with stock Backflip tires, a 16 tooth is max to prevent heat and cogging on a stock system.👊👊

Man you put that thing through a beating! Cool place to run though. Makes me wanna go find a gravel pit or some place where they dig out dirt. I’ve got the RTR Kraton 8S and was thinking about getting the Mamba XLX2 with the 1100Kv motor but been hearing bad things about Castle catching fire. So now I’m looking into the TP motors but have no idea what ESC to put with it. I also fly Heli’s and have a spare 200A Scorpion ESC, I wonder if I could use that? Any help or advice for a motor and ESC would be helpful.
The Xt/e is an amazing Truggy! I do run an aluminum top plate, front chassis brace and Mojave center shaft in the front. M2C is supposed to be making upgrades for it but they've been busy with Arrma and Traxxas! Chassis, braces, rear bulkhead brace and towers are hopefully what they'll be making at some point. @@MatthewSimm I had a MT410 Long ago but sold it before M2C starting making upgrades. The Wide kit is a beast upgrade for sure! The Losi will hold down power better for more drivability being a long chassis. Just depends on what you're looking for! A stunt truck or drivers car! Both are great kits though!

Well they are two complete different rigs! As far as fun factor both are great! The Talion will be faster, hold down power better. The Outcast will be a better stunt truck. Easier Backflips and wheelies! Better suited for rougher terrain too. All depends on what your looking for!
Hey RC dude81, I purchased the M2C chassis for my Talion also and just installed. Have you ever bent the rear part of the M2C chassis? would you ever install something like a custom RC 7075 T6 rear skid plate as well ? thanks.
Getting my first RC after a decade hiatus and can't decide between this and the Mojave. What do you prefer and what do you think are the pros and cons of each? Really like the durability, stability and agility of the talion but the way the Mojave handles and just slides around looks super cool and familiar. Really nice driving by the way, that thing can move and take a beating.
I love my 3-D RC bumper support for my Exb Kraton. Plenty of strength with a ton of flexibility. Way better than the stock support. I think if 3DRC made the body mount post for the Mojave with the similar strength they would really be on top of the market.

Can I put the 23t optional gear on my red talion 6s blx or is to much the 23t for the previous red armma 6s blx?
Probably too much unless you are doing a pass or 2 speed running. Bashing with regular unbelted Katars tires 18-20 tooth is max imo. Still watch heat!

You can but will need to change the ESC to a 120amp at least. Or throw in a 150 from the 6s trucks.

Yes of course. Gonna get M2C chassis soon for my Outcast exb 8S. The 7075 still bends pretty easy if you don't land her correctly.
3d rc is underrated when it comes to the 6s wing mounts, amazing durability out of mine.

Yes imo a regular Talion is the way to go! M2C upgrades to it will be much better than the EXB. I broke 2 EXB chassis in half!🤣

The Xt/e is an amazing Truggy! I do run an aluminum top plate, front chassis brace and Mojave center shaft in the front. M2C is supposed to be making upgrades for it but they've been busy with Arrma and Traxxas! Chassis, braces, rear bulkhead brace and towers are hopefully what they'll be making at some point. @@MatthewSimm I had a MT410 Long ago but sold it before M2C starting making upgrades. The Wide kit is a beast upgrade for sure! The Losi will hold down power better for more drivability being a long chassis. Just depends on what you're looking for! A stunt truck or drivers car! Both are great kits though!

Which one would u recommend this talion or the outcast 1/8 exb?
Well they are two complete different rigs! As far as fun factor both are great! The Talion will be faster, hold down power better. The Outcast will be a better stunt truck. Easier Backflips and wheelies! Better suited for rougher terrain too. All depends on what your looking for!
Hey RC dude81, I purchased the M2C chassis for my Talion also and just installed. Have you ever bent the rear part of the M2C chassis? would you ever install something like a custom RC 7075 T6 rear skid plate as well ? thanks.
What gearing are you running and what are the temps?
17 tooth here. Very conservative imo. Didn't check Temps bc I knew it was good. I usually run a 20 but didn't want to blow the tires this time.🤣🤣
Do the belted tires blow on a 20 tooth?
@@AccrlMoto No I've tested them up to a 27 tooth on speed launches! I was talking about the non belted which is what I mainly ran during the vid.

Thanks! A 20 with belted tires and 17 with regular Katars. Most of the vid was with a 17 and non belted tires. Just didn't want to blow my tires.

Getting my first RC after a decade hiatus and can't decide between this and the Mojave. What do you prefer and what do you think are the pros and cons of each? Really like the durability, stability and agility of the talion but the way the Mojave handles and just slides around looks super cool and familiar. Really nice driving by the way, that thing can move and take a beating.

I love my 3-D RC bumper support for my Exb Kraton. Plenty of strength with a ton of flexibility. Way better than the stock support. I think if 3DRC made the body mount post for the Mojave with the similar strength they would really be on top of the market.
