This is a quick first look and run of the New Arrma Kraton 6s EXB RTR! Arrma has really listened and made some killer updates on this new model! I ran the truck bone stock straight from the box except punch 7 on the ESC. Next run will be the speed pinion and punh 9! I just wanted to show you what this truck will do straight from the box and really impressed with it's performance! Thanks for watching!

My new k8 is taking a beating.
6 Month Update - I pre-ordered mine and received it just before Christmas 2023.
I run my Truck a lot like Rich Duperbash or RCDude81. I absolutely torture this thing at skate parks send it off absolutely gigantic jumps at full speed.
This is truly the greatest truck Arrma has ever made. To this day I haven't replaced a single part, just screwed in a couple screws that backed out during bashing, all on the steering assembly. The Turnbuckles and ackerman screws don't have any locktite from the factory, just a tiny mistake.
Even the factory stock steering servo has survived up to this point which is simply mind-boggling considering in the past I remember Arrma factory stock servos that couldn't handle a single jump before burning out or shattering the plastic casing.
However, it looks like my luck of no repairs is finally coming to an end, and it is indeed that stock servo that is finally going. There is now slack in the servo and you can turn it 5° in each direction with no resistance. The steering is so bad that the truck refuses to travel in a straight line.
So despite the fact that the factory servo is still technically going, Im going to be forced to upgrade it. Im actually looking into what servos I should consider as I type this comment. The one that has caught my eye is the AGFRC A81BMWP. At $115 its a bit pricey but offers 667 oz-in and 0.100 speed at 7.4V.
I used to be a huge Traxxas guy, from back when I bought my TRX-1 in '91, but I would definitely go with Arrma now. Your Arrma vehicles have taken a POUNDING!

Hell Yeah! King Kraton 👑 got even more beefier, tougher and even more electrifying Basher to hit the field. Wicked rips and sends as always Bro. Arrma did a brilliant move adding some more alloy in the crucial areas. A huge improvement and a very welcome addition for sure. The new electronics seems plenty. I'm a little worried about the cups but M2C for the WIN. EPIC first rip Ramp Blast Bro!

any issues with driveshafts popping out ? My fronts popped out on nornal landings , no crashes .
Fixed the issue by removing washers on the ends of control arms.
I'm sorry I just saw your comment! Mine did pop a couple times I just added bump stops to the shocks but yes, removing the washers will help too!

I agree, for an RTR the K6 EXB seems to be the car to buy Eric for hardcore action. Some people will ofc whine bout why they didnt this years ago, all bout money to milk out of every version❤. If i would buy a ARRMA it would be the same but an Outcast, hope we will see one soon ❤

Awesome bash!! Killer work as always! Man, Arrma has really raised the bar with this truck. Was digging the Kagama from TC, and still do but..wow! Kraton is the king, easily. I know the Sledge is good, but to get to this level, needs too many upgrades to be worth while IMO.

I own an XRT Ultimate and a Sledge. I actually bought the sledge after buying the xrt ultimate. Huge mistake. I love my xrt. The pinion or pinion and spur break on the sledge every time I take it out. I’m over it.
I like very fast bashers. What would you recommend for me? I do not care about price at all. I don’t care about price to performance. I’m just looking for the best fast basher out of the box. Also. I know Arrma has an 8s. I love my xrt ultimate 8s. But not sure if the 6s Arrma is better for bashing.

Im running this right now with the stock electronics. Thickened up the diff fluid. What is the stock pinion and the speed pinion tooth? Id like a bit more top speed. But dont want to roast the electronics. Any suggestions for a pinion? Thanks!!

I hear such great things about this truck, I don't know if I'd want this version or the 8s one.
6s is much smaller but easier and cheaper to maintain and repair. Both are great though!!

When you say you go punch seven on the ESC what do you mean?
There is different punch levels on the ESC. 1-9. It controls how much punch off the line under a full throttle pull.
What battery are you using. I’m about to buy one. What should I do 6s or two 3s batteries?
I'd recommend a single 6s. Easier to manage and fits the tray better. I like Zeee 6s packs. I use 5000 mah 100C. Any battery with similar specs will work!

Where did you buy the red diff cases (bulk heads) are that directly from arrma? You got one for front and the be for rear… what about center?
This new RTR comes stock with them! But you can also buy them separately from Horizon.

Not as much as breaking the front cups. They do seem to pop out sometimes under extreme arm flex.

I got both I’ll answer as soon as I fully test out both my
Big rock 6s came with a few issues one the receiver transmitter wire was pinched my LHS fixed the issue no problem replaced it 2. The upper arm in the front gave out (driver error) lol .3. My servo gave out easily keep in mind I didn’t calibrate the few times I did bash it it’s fun and it launches I was like holy cow I need to use my exb I’m sure I’ll like it more lol I’m actually considering trading my big rock for a kagama or Mojave 6s I have the 4s and I’ve tried the big rock 3s ,granite , typhoon , the Mojave 4s by far is the best arrma I had fun with right off the box
