Your vid literally help me identify the fault on mine too had to press on the socket and it worked but will have to get it fixed properly as I was able to identify the problem
Yeah, as working in work shop I can confirm, I had done about 30 of them laptops and it's usually first 2 pins inside slot sometimes it's first 3...I contact HP about that but they not really care 😅
I can't tell if this is a user fault since it has poor tolerance on the mechanical properties of the board, I mean if I were to design it I would set the ram slot on a low torsion portion of the board, regardless some people do treat this things as if they were built on hard concrete, finding out if it's a design flaw or a bad user treatment it's hard since I mean under good treatment should not fail and it won't, but, lets carry it on my backpack for a few weeks and boy you'll see, that kinda end user treatment should be considered while designing

My lenova laptop doesn't turn on with the ram inside it only when the ram is out this happened after the blue screen what could be the problem
