Stay away from spicy foods eat healthy drink water and if you smoke quit....and wear White tan or light gray shirts... Use unscented lotions and if you wear a fragrance it's best to wear something that's light not nothing all strong apply it to your clothes not your skin.... I hope this help!!!

Drink a lot of water and eat well (also not too much onion, garlic etc.) If you feel like it‘s a really strange smell maybe visit a doctor :)
You may have fbo or I think it is called tmau. There is no surgery you can do for it like the other type of bo but you can fix it by a combination of things like your diet and taking antibiotics. Your doctor can help you

That used to be me when I was younger and now that I’m going through menopause forget about it, I stink, no matter if I shower once or three times a day. I start sweating with any activity or the moment I step outdoors. My armpits just drip with sweat. When I was 19-20, I simply didn’t sweat and I didn’t stink, while working outdoors on 90+ degree weather daily. I’m at a loss.

Okay I take 2 showers a day, every day and I use deodorant and antiperspirant. I use natural antibacterial soap every time as well. I also am a vegetarian who eats mainly fruit and veggies and I drink a gallon of water a day. I don’t have underarm hair but my sweat still smells like onions and melted butter left out overnight. Sometimes it smells like stale cheeze itz and the nasty green stuff people cough up when they have pneumonia or dead fish. I recently started getting night sweats really bad and started getting these dark hairs on my chin, which I suspect may be from being on the Neplexonon birth control implant because of my period was 3 weeks long and extremely heavy, not to mention the awful cramps. These hairs are about 1/4 inch in length and are a lot thicker in comparison to the rest of the invisible hairs on the rest of my face. The ones in question are black in color and are about as thick as a leg hair or something and 1/4 inch in length. I pluck 5 of them 3 times a week, when before the implant I only had to pluck one single black hair every 3 weeks.
I’m doing just about everything I can to control it, being a college student but nothing seems to be working. It’s really affecting my self esteem and confidence and I’m at a loss of what to do or what could be causing it. Should I be tested for a hormone imbalance and possibly PCOS and/or endometriosis?

I’ve been having similar issues. I’ve never had any issues with sweat and body odour. But two years ago out of the nowhere I’ve been having abnormal sweat and body odour issue, to the point where it’s affecting my day to day life. I definitely think testing for a hormonal imbalance is a good place to start. I’ll probably do so as well. Also another solution is to take spironolactone. It blocks testosterone production. I haven’t had any luck with it, but maybe it’ll work for you. Hopefully we’ll find a solution to our problem. Also, another condition I’ve read about online that’s called trimethylaminuria or tmau. It causes a fishy odour, so you can also get tested for that if you want. The only thing about tmau is that it isn’t curable.

I like Dove Sensitive skin for the body (I prefer the bar). For armpits you can try an over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide wash. The one I use is Oxy (usually found in the acne section).

I came here to look for some help and advises about body odor and how to get rid of it. Not for me but for my boyfriend. I want to help him get rid of his body odor as possible. He smells sour. And he doesn't smell like this before. I think its because he works hard and a lot at work. He takes a shower almost everyday and he uses dove men deodorant. His armpits smells okay but his neck, or anywhere on his body smells sour. What if not because of work but because of him being kinda fat? I am chubby but i don't smell sour. I smell nice according to him and everyone else around us like friends and family. My boyfriend used to tell me salt and lime helps get rid the body odor because that's what his aunt did to him when he was young. But it was a little painful he said because of scrubbing salt on your body and hurts when you apply lime but it worked. The problem is we don't have time to make that stuff because his always at work.

I would say to take a shower everyday not almost everyday. Also it could be a sign of an underlying medical condition so tell him to see a doctor.
