Thanks for chronicling a great summer! Just wait until the next time you ride 50 year Slabs or some Sedona sandstone, you’ll see for yourself how far you’ve come with you braking control! SLAY!!!!!!!! Your friend Wade
Hopefully, one day, I'll cross paths with you in Squamish, and we can ride. I am soo looking forward to riding these trails this summer for the first time ever. It's cool to see Remy encouraging others on the trail...he's such an advocate of the sport
You don't wanna ride with my slow ass, just ask Wade! Lol. Where do you normally ride? You have plans in the works for a Squam trip? We can't wait to get back!
Well done learning to ride Squamish and over coming your fears Bro! Having ridden there for years and had my fair share of "learning experiences", there is nothing better than having a coach like Wade to give you pointers on how to ride better! Best of luck on your continued success!
Thanks bud! Wade is a legend for sure. I just wrapped up my second summer here (more content to come). Let's just say... I have a lot more learning to do, still! Lol. This place never gets easier, the trails just get harder!
great video. it's great to see perspective from someone new to the area. I'll be turning 50 soon, and that's a great motivator to do a bunch of the things i used to always ride, to get back to them again cause they are quite fun. great job out there.
We've made two trips out to Alice Lake and Whistler. As regulars at Santa Cruz and the Marin chunk, there is an order of magnitude jump in gnar once you cross the border into BC. Alice Lake features would all be considered at least double blacks in Santa Cruz, if not Pro Lines. It's intense and leaves you mentally drained, terrified, and amped. Can't recommend it enough, but bring a spoon for the humble pie.
This was a really good video! The in and out looks so easy on gopro but when u guys crawley up again u can see the steepness. When have one or two steep rock rolls but not this long ones. Man that is scary and well ridden down. Good brakes the most important, plus good grippy tires. Remy what a legend!
@@DustyTrailsMTB It's great work and a lot goes into it. Happy to have subscribed, will be looking through your stuff on a Sedona trip I am planning for June.
I'll never forget the feeling of my rear brake going to the bar on me at Spirit Mountain bike park. Thankfully I wasn't on anything scary when it happened, but I rode the rest of the day on only the front brake since I didn't have a bleed kit in my car. Its so annoying that so many bikes come with Sram brakes. Of course all brands need maintenance, it just seems like the Sram stuff consistently fails at the WORST possible times.
Dude. Isn't that the worst? Bike Park Days with unreliable brakes is no fun! Funny thing is, I have always been a Shimano guy, but I swapped my XTs for these after they failed on me more than a handful of times!
Is your icon a picture of a motorcycle? I mean, google motorcycle accidents. Those are numbers I don't want to mess with! I guess we all have our own thing! 😁
Thanks for chronicling a great summer!

Thanks bud! You have such an incredible backyard! Happy early birthday! I hope I can be shredding this shit in 10 more years!

Well said brother! 🤘

Thanks bud! Where do you ride that you have some good rock slabs? I Love slab riding! But they NEVER look as steep as they actually are!
This has got me stoked for more Squam slabs next summer! Great meeting you at Sunpeaks
Sean! It was awesome meeting you! I'm hoping we can meet up next season so you and Nicole can show us how it's done!
Great riding and excellent story telling!
Dude. You don't know how much a comment like this means to me! I love to hear it! Thank you!

Entrails kicked my butt today dude! Haha! Enjoyed this!
I rode it yesterday, and struggled HARD! It's such a tough gatekeeper!
Great storytelling! Subscribed!!
Thanks bud! I had a lot of fun with this one! But it was also a lot of work, so I. I'm glad you appreciate it
I appreciate the subscribe!
Interesting comment about sensory overload... I definitely get that. Entrails is possibly my least favorite trail in Squamish!
Well done. Loved the video 🇨🇦⚡️
That was awesome! (Your progression)
Thank you bud! Squamish has a steep learning curve! (No Pun intended, but very much welcome!)
Great stuff dude. In n out is seriously steep! BC is amazing and Alice Lake is the pinnacle for me.

I ride a set of trp dh-r evos and they never failed on me
Ha!!! I’m headed up there in Sept for my first time to celebrate my 50th too.
No better place to do it! September is supposed to be awesome up there too! I'll be celebrating my 40th this September in Quebec!
Sorry to hear about the brakes. Amazing how much confidence you lose when you’re unsure about your stopping/slowing ability.
Thanks bud! I have had brake fade before, but nothing like this! What a crap spot for it too! Not fun.
how many spare brake pads you would recommend to ride this crazy trail lol.
Hey bro, which one is that handlebar?
Those are the Bontrager RSL bars that come stock on the 2023 Fuel EX 9.8 (gen 6) I love em!
Google mountain bike accidents. So many permanent injuries. Cliff jumping has better injury stats.
