Its a breath of fresh air to see a GMBN video that just has two guys hanging out checking out a crazy trail together. No, agenda, not a tutorial, not BIKE, just guys having fun on a trail. I like the other stuff too of course, but more of this is welcome!
Gnarly is all well and good, but the best parts of this were Rich and Blake opting out of features they knew weren't their strengths. Knowing when to skip a feature is just as important as knowing how to hit one properly...and there's no shame in skipping a feature.
Craziest trail Iv'e been to. you can't even start to get how gnarly it is from the video. being there real life and riding (well trying to ride) it is just mind blowing super scary experience even for the most talented riders. In and out burger is easy compared to some features in treasure trail.
Hi Blake. I can't really add anything that hasn't already ben said so please just keep doing stuff like this with your mates who really are class acts & we mere mortals will keep watching & appreciating the courage & skill you guys have. Even at 69, I still recon bikes are the best fun you can have with ya pant on. ( Ha ha ha). Regards Noel, from down under. .
I find it very interesting that I've ridden vertical walls all day at the skatepark, but seeing something similar on a trail and it's like nope nope nope. Don't need to crash today. That's only one hour 15 minutes from my house. Love where I live.
Intro part of the video is from Whistler and not Squamish. Also Treasure Trail isn't even remotely close to the hardest trail in town, it's actually one of the easier ones compared to some of the more gnarly technical trails.
Guys, you make me nervous aa hell not wearing full faced helmets. Experienced, pro amateur or whatever, stuff happens in terrain like that. Please, be a mentor for the younger riders, and be an example by wearing FF helmets on diamond rated trails. I see way too many families, kids, and adult riding XC trails without any helmets at all. 4k plus bikes, no brain bucket, kills me. Awesome video!
I second this, I don't know what the rationale is, something about only wearing the correspondingly named helmet, but Rich has done a couple of XC on crazy trails videos wearing an XC helmet. Pick your helmet based on the terrain you're riding, not the bike you're using.

I totally agree. Their best video ist still Blakes Dark Crystal ride.
This just gives a new perspective how f-ing good riders people like Yoann Barelli and Rémy Métailler are, which make this trail look easy...
exaaaaaaaaactly
Yeeeeeep! Agreed!

I missed this kind of video in your channel where the gang is genuinely challenged but still enjoying! 🔥
Blake and Rich. They feed off each other so well. Possibly the two most likable guys on the planet. 👏
I loved this video. One of the best I’ve seen with you two riding together. Loved it! And you’re both so good 🤯
Glad you enjoyed this one, Jonathan! We really appreciate the support! 👊
You know your spot is blown when GMBN shows up with the 1980s work-out music.
That's some gnarly trails 😲
Blake saying no to a section I wasn't expecting that 😃
Great riding Rich and Blake
Great stuff #GMBN 🤘
Don’t see that often haha. Wait……don’t think I’ve ever seen Blake skip a spot. 😂🤣
That montage at the beginning made me feel like I'm watching an IFHT video.
If Blake and Rich say it's gnarly......it's definitely gnarly! Insane!
The best thing on the video is Blake's go pro mouth mount in 14:03
What a fun video. Just two guys on a back woods trail, trying some weird obstacles and features. This is mountain biking.
One of my favorite videos I have seen on GMBN to date. Great fun watching you guys have fun!
Finally a video from canada not only in whistler park
props to the editor his music taste is always great
Thanks! We'll let the editor know!
I would love to see a video with GMBN riding with Rémy Métailler, Yoann Barelli and Steve Vanderhoek
Awsome GMBN!! Love the video just like always
Glad you enjoy it! We really appreciate the support! 👊
Absolutely brilliant, one of the best vids I've seen you guys make. the enjoyment you got from that was plain to see.
A truly epic show today! Love seeing you riding our amazing trails here in Canada.
Awesome riding. Great video! Love you guys.
I do like the new format. Just pure riding on crazy stuff!
You two are crazy, love this video...
So true! Thanks for watching!
Great to see you having a bit of fun time, good job guys, keep it coming. 👍🏻
Agree with all the comments, this was the Best of GMBN, watching you guys navigate a raw, natural, insaaaane trail.
Was Blake actually holding the Gopro with his mouth ?! :))) Blake is a hero lol
Exactly.. do they make a new mouth mount or is that improvised?!
Well done boys, super entertaining!
Excellent. Just so much fun
Great video work and that trail........boy you guys are brave.
Glad you enjoyed it! Blake and Rich are crazy to do this! 😂
Man love the videos guys hell yeah 🤘🏾
Thanks Fernando! 🤘
What a nice video to watch!
This is peak GMBN content and Martyn's gotta be proud of Blake not skipping the skinnies. XD
you know when Blake says no that it is WILD. Epic though that you include that, personal decisions make us safer riders.
I would like to see more north shore stuff!

treasure trail is knowhere near the hardest in Squamish also
@@emoneyworld_ Totally. Not even in the top 10 I'd say. Labour of Love Pro Line then maybe SourKraut would be top two, I think.
Crazy fun! 👍
Wow epic trails love it great entertainment guys
This was a fun video to watch.
squamish is a different animal... props to all the riders that makes this look easy!
Another entertaining video 😁🤙. Why do Clif bars make entry so difficult 🤔
Oh my gosh! That is crazy!

Jeez, did the boiz from Mahalo my dude start editing for gmbn? Good stuff.
Yep wanna see more north shore stuff.
Glad to see you had a great time in my backyard! :D
What pants was Blake wearing, looks really nice. Nice video more of this!
"Horrible, disgusting, I hate it!" Blake's review of Treasure Trail...
Blake clearly loves flow trails more! 😂
What is that music playing during the Rupert trail? Great video
Nice shot of Alice Lake at the beginning. That's where we park.
Absolute madlads.
this is always super nice 😃😃😃 love It love it love it 🤩🤩🤩
That was epic
Rodeo Rose and sauerkraut are quite abit more challenging, you guys should hit them up next time your in town
i hope you guys also did in and out burger! it is one of the coolest and probably largest slab you can find in squamish! it is awesome!
Dang! Should've tried to get in touch with locals like Dale Stone, Dangerous Dave or VanCan, these guys are amazing North Shore riders!
Agreed!
Great shoutout to all of those folks, I love watching their channels so much
Jordan Boostmaster makes excellent videos in the area, too!
I'm always down if the invite comes in. 👀
Yes rich mooore Northshoreeeey and Blake
This stuff keeps your brain full on 😎
has a little mahalo my dude type of vibe in the vid🤙🤙
Boom!
I love how much you hated everything you did. 🤣
No gloves.. raw mad fellas 🤣
Are those the trails that Remy Metailler rode with a 73 years old woman?
Is the mouth mount a new thing?
Nice looking helmet. In the pass hard to find the brand in the USA. I think because it didn’t meet certification. Wonder has it changed.
I look super nub! But I love and enjoyed this video!
What kind of pants is blake using? they seem really nice and i'm looking to pick up some for myself for the colder second half of the year!
Welcome to my backyard.
More people need to use this camera, you can actually tell how steep it is

Legend, no gloves no elbow pads no problem
Dont take this the wrong way but it was nice to see you guys genuinely scared just like us normal folk! 🇨🇦
I will never ever Never ride this without a full face helmet 🤠...Cheers,Mate ,🖖🖖
We think most people would opt for a full face! 😬
Rich and Blake, please keep those nice helmets and ditch the pink ones ;-)
A lil rowdy
That was a great commercial.
Hey guys, can u please ride the trails which yoann barelli and Remy ride. It would make a sick RUclips video.
I would like to know more about abus please
Hey! To find out more about Abus check out the link! 👉 gmbn.eu/AbusHelmets
IFHT feel to this video's intro and cutaways...
Intro part of the video is from Whistler and not Squamish. Also Treasure Trail isn't even remotely close to the hardest trail in town, it's actually one of the easier ones compared to some of the more gnarly technical trails.
What blacked out beauty is Blake riding?
My name is Bond, James Bond! And you are ? Gnarly, Gnarly Gnarly :)
GMBN should invest more in POV
Cooool
😎
Had the best pancakes for breakfast in squamish.
You guys should try BCpov stonestarlet too..
Van Can could have towed you into the Karl. North shore is not the bike park
Woow
Having been stung in the head by a wasp that got into my helmet.
I say YES to the bug net!
XXXlnt !!!
Now the same on a hardtail...........................
How gnarly is the trail? Well, GoPro's hypersmooth doesn't cut the mustard... 🤪
Does anyone know what size wheels they are using in this video?
Edit: 29' at least in the back
If there’s a 29 in back there has to be one up front
I wonder if the video is sponsored by abus
Why not ride in shorts fellas? Looks like a hot day and a bit of climbing too.
Too British
Wayyy too British for shorts! 😂
For my info, why not wear gloves - seems inevitable at some point going to stack it?
Why the long pants I thought it was hot up there?
Don't like the spoiler clip montages on this and other videos, rather see see the ride in order!
The Wilds of Can adia. look out those wood boggers will get ya
Shouldn't this video be labelled as an advert?

those visors on the abus helmets are disgusting
