    Trail looks so sick. Love to see the bigger line choices in blue trails. Sometimes it’s hard to sneak them in without sending traffic directly into them. Builder is on point.

    • @SkillsWithPhil
      @SkillsWithPhil  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I think it's something that's overlooked by a lot of builders. You can get way more milage out of trails if you build them with hidden lines.

      Apart from goat skull and a few other breif sections of trail, I find Killington to be very boring to ride. For such a big established resort its a shame they don't put much effort into making good trails.

    • @nathankovach7414
      @nathankovach7414 6 месяцев назад

      @@SkillsWithPhil that's true, I remember there was an interview with the Loam Ranger and they had ideas to add more black / prolines in the future, but three years later and it's basically the same exact trails :(

    • @SkillsWithPhil
      @SkillsWithPhil  6 месяцев назад +2

      @@nathankovach7414 I don't really see killington ever changing. Their target clientele is families from New York, CT, New Jersey who want to escape the city/suburbs for the weekend. They also have national and state forest lands that they have to navigate around, which doesn't make things any easier. But there's a reason I don't go to Killington much.

    Those are awesome trails. They look pretty hardtail friendly, too.
    I hate the standard single tracks, with dirt only wide enough for your tire, and with brush overgrowth and branches hanging over it. Minimum 36" trail width (1 meter-ish for you metric types) should be the standard. USA needs trails like the ones in this video.

    • @darylj2617
      @darylj2617 6 месяцев назад +6

      bike parks are great for wider trails. Natural trails are not supposed to be this wide. Go to a bike park if you don't like singletrack.

    • @SsmAnyfeSt
      @SsmAnyfeSt 6 месяцев назад

      We only saw the same 3 flowy trails...everything else in the Shannahan area is singletrack, more like xc trails. I wouldn't do the Neilson trails on a hardtail lol The singletracks are probably 2-3' large but the trails on this video are wayyy larger! Those are what you would see in a bike park but its only those 3 trails, otherwise it is wayyy different! If you only like those kinda trails, I wouldn't go to Shannahan, which is more like adventure trail bike with some nice rivers, etc.
