  • David Lieb is a Professional Slopestyle who competes at FMB tour events across the world. In 2019 Dave won the US Open and today we are lucky enough to be following him down the jump trails at Highland Mountain bike park in New Hampshire. Highlands is one of the best bike parks in America and is definitely worth the trip if you're on the east coast.

    Quick corrections:
    1. I have the bad habit of mispronouncing his last name even though we're good friends. His last name, Lieb is pronounced LEEB, not Lee-eb.
    2. This was my second time at a bike park on the Force 29. I took it to Killington once last year but wasn't recording. Because of the pandemic, I stayed away from bike parks last year, but now that things are returning to normal we'll be mixing these videos back in periodically.

      The more the merrier Phil ... You could make a 20 minute video riding Highland every week and I'd watch every second.
      One minor critique though, maybe just try and ride level and not do so many tricks a couple runs so we get a better shot of David.

    • @connorbettencourt1125
      @connorbettencourt1125 3 года назад

      @@andrer3764 Park riding doesn’t really have one certain type of trail. Usually when you find machine-cut trails, it is at a bike park, but there are tons kinds of trails. There are jumps, tech, and flow, but they are all lift accessible and you don’t have to climb up. That being said, you could take a modern trail bike on most of the stuff at Highland.

    dang. every time i see you ride i'm blown away by how playful and poppy and smooth you can be on a MTB while getting insane air at the same time. its like you were born with wheels instead of legs, rofl. i really hope i can ride 25% that well some day :) (my 2nd season now and having an absolute blast) just gonna throw this out there too...i would be wicked happy to trade you a week of manual labor breaking rocks and shoveling dirt for a day of riding instruction :) i'm fully vaccinated too, lemme know if you want some help :)

    Really enjoy your videos. Great stuff. I have been a roadie all my life and got into mountain biking about 3 years ago and now my road bike is on my trainer. Just purchased a new trek fuel 9.8. Pedal safe

    Also those gaps you guys find. It's crazy man jumping off every little root and rock. So sick!

    It's so sad, that I will never be as smooth on a bike as you guys! ...we in Austria are born on skies (and very good at it :D) but biking came very late to our country... so I had and have to learn it the hard way :-/ ... thank god that it has some similarity to sking :-)

    If i tried any of this not only would the person infront of me be dead, i'd be dead & then someone off on some other track is also catching a bike to the side of the head cause wtf was that xD

    Any time you do trains i right away think “Black Betty” - Spiderbait (banjo version) if I was in a train I’d definitely be playing that on a speaker haha

    Man I know you want to get closer video but why do so many riders glide up the buttocks of the biker in front of them? Should leave at least another 2-5ft of space between.

    Uh Phil? Where's the hair buddy?! Please tell me the mane is still tucked away under the hat!
    Looks like the new GT is dialed in pretty well. How are you liking it?
