This song was the first track of the show that has been crowdfunded by her fans. All her solo shows were sold out and this show marked the end of her Dutch tour after being postponed 3 times.

Not that I don't miss Marko, but I am thrilled he was able to identify what was bothering him and have the courage to step aside and get the mental health break he needed. Jukka Koskinen has done a fine job stepping in and I am thrilled to see this gentleman get some much love and respect he deserves. My 2 cents worth.

I think every Nightwish fan holds out hope that Marko will return to the band one day. Myself included. I'll still be a fan either way though. They have been my favorite band for almost 20 years now and I don't see that changing.

I was in Amsterdam on September 1st and saw Floor live. It was amazing and it was so encouraging for me to experience live music again. Especially in these tough times.
Jen I feel your pain, We all miss Marco, but we send him our love and understanding, Our Floor is breath taking as always and we are all so proud of her. Our Queen. We will remain loyal to Nightwish always. A big hug for you Jen.
Floor is epic. Someone called her the female Freddie Mercury, that is spot on, voice, charisma, stage command, the lot. She is awseome. Her & Nightwish did the same for me Jen 2 years ago, i still go through shit but i watch them, watch her, i feel life is better for a spell. How did i not know them sooner? As a rock/metal fan i am baffled. But i know now, and even with no Marko they still slay, with the Valkyrie goddess leading the army.🤘🖤
Nightwish isn’t a band, Nightwish is a singular phenomenon. These guys are in a league of their own. They sing to me too, Jen. I gotcha. Great review, keep up the great work 🤘
I think Floor is the best ambassador for the music industry in decades. She does so much for the fans and keeps giving us thrilling content . I feel like you. I cannot go a day without watching her and Nightwish. So appreciate your love for them. Merry Xmas
There were 3 concerts, Floor sang 3 days in a row at concerts, and this is from the third concert, as we hear she sings perfectly here.
I was at all three shows and at her show in july at zomertheater Den Bosch , soo i saw her 4 times in 2021😁😁 and she was all 4 shows fantastic. As always. The old after forever and Revamp songs she did where sooooooo gooooood
There are many great singers out there but for me, Floor is in a league of her own. Sure, there is always someone who can hit even higher notes or is better at this or that, but nobody else brings the onion ninjas as much as her and that´s the whole point of music imo, to feel things.
Jen…thanks for posting this video. I had not seen it yet. You made so many points in your reaction and I identify with many of them, but if I expound on all of them I would end up writing a book in your comments. 😊
I have been listening to Rush since 1976 when 2112 came out and I have to say that I was lost musically after they retired and Neil Peart passed away until I accidentally found Nightwish. Now I can’t get enough of them.
My wife and I are going to go see them in Denver and possibly a few other cities in May. Maybe we will see you there.
One last thing…I have always liked Amy Lee and, in fact we are going to see Evanescence tomorrow in St Louis, but I agree that Floor is special.

Big hugs little sister. Nightwish and Floor are my daily therapy. Like you, I have tickets to see them in May. I’m making it a true journey. I’m driving with my daughter, from Alabama to Massachusetts. What better occasion to bond with my baby girl than go and see Nightwish. Marko left, wish he hadn't, but he felt it was the best thing for him and his family. Got to live and respect that, the guy gave up many years of his life for this band. Jukka has been superb on bass, I haven't heard him slip up even once, and Jukka loves and respects this band and Marko to the utmost. I think Floor's vocals are greater than anybody's, even Marko's, and she is doing what she must, Marko made his decision and all she or the band can do, continue on. I still miss Jukka the drummer, but Kai is also a great drummer. He is probably technically better, but Jukka hit those drums like nobody else can and was so animated. The show must go on.

I think we all know how you are feeling - and we all have the same feelings.
But I think we must realize
This is not a Nightwish clone..
This is Floor doing a more laid back show for a different kind of audience, leaving space for Henk, - and a band that's nowhere near Nightwish. This is Floor being entertaining the audience, with a "spiced up" backing band - nothing like a Symphonic Metal concert.
With that in mind - - Floor is the perfect entertainer, never going into "metal-mode", and never giving full throttle - just the perfect balance.
She can simply do anything to perfection.
That being said - maybe we will see some collaboration between Floor and Marko in the future - outside Nightwish - just like the Christmas shows earlier - and also Ayreon if I remember correctly.

To me - Nightwish are and will always be no. 1 - but Floor's other projects - I wouldn't miss any of them - they are up there as well. One of my favorite songs are "Sweet Curse" - and that's pure Floor - or with either Simone or Henk in a duet.
Phenomenal song. I hope it will be in this concert with Henk as they have done before..

This show was delayed several times i believe and i heard there was also a protocol because of Covid plus not all metalheads. That makes a big difference. But you can leave it up to Floor to pimp up the audience during the show. About Floor leaving Nightwish... didn't she say; 'They wil have to carry me away from it if its been tried'' In the original date from this show Marko was still in Nightwish and wouldn't been there also. But yes, i am sure Floor is missing him too because she said so herself. Love for the fans who crowdfunded this registration and made it possible. They are special as you expressed. Later i saw some hidden fanrecordings from Revamo. Very personal strong woman texts only her and the piano and was dissapointed i am such an idiot in the digital world and couldnt send it, because i was sure you would loved it on a personal Jen levall. I was there, i saw 3 all three shows, she was fantastic, also the Marcel Fisser band was great. And the 3 duets with Henk Poort out of this world. I love her in Nightwish but Floor solo singing her old After forever and ReVamp songs i love even more

Some fan facts: the recording of this show was crowdfunded by the fans, how cool is that?
The band is the Marcel Fissler Band, the same band of the Beste Zangers show.
She will perform only few Nightwish songs, included one never performed live, in the setlist you will find also songs of After Forever, ReVamp and Northward, other Floor's bands, and some songs of Beste Zangers and her YT channel too.
All songs are in a more slow, rock style.
She will release the show song by song in the next months. So we'll have some new material to listen to.
Was supposed to be seeing them in 9 days. Was moved back by 11 months yesterday. My mental health struggled following that. Nightwish have saved me this last year.
Hope to god they do another islander arms for us this new year.

I was one of the lucky 🐶, that evening. She did her talks in English for the recordings. The other nights were in Dutch. There were some technical difficulties during the show, she and Henk Poort switched to Dutch for some jokes till everything was sorted out. Was a great evening. Sadly the NW concert in Amsterdam is postponed… have to wait another year!

This was the final show of her solo tour through the Netherlands that started back in 2020 before the pandemic. She had started back up in July and finished up in September. The backing band is the same one from Beste Zangers. They will be releasing more video's and eventually show the whole concert. She also posted a playlist from the concert on Spotify. She has songs from all of her bands in the show including Sweet Curse with Henk, which is my favorite.

I'm glad to see Floor put together these solo performances. She sounded really bummed in one of her recent posts because another NW show hand just been cancelled due to European lockdowns. These solo shows and her mini-tours with Henk help to tide her over until the day that NW can tour again.

This concert was funded by the fans 2 years ago, then came corona and she had to cancelled the concert, don't know how many times, and now she finally could do the concert. She will publish one song at a time from this show, and then eventually the whole concert. She needed 15 000 euros for the show, and she got It just a couple of hours, she got so much money so they did a small docunentary. Everyones name is listed in the credits I, did see my name there :) so this is kind of a very special concert.
Concert was not funded but the recording was. That's why it's released for free for everybody.

Hey Jen. I’ve always loved your reactions and your love for Nightwish. Of course we all miss Marko, and hope he misses Nightwish and wants to return when he’s able. However, this was a Floor solo concert. If Marko had never left the band, he wouldn’t have been at this gig. This is just Floor with a backing band doing an excellent job of covering a Nightwish classic and should be reacted to as such imho.

Hi, Jen, the fans in Netherlands did a crowdfunding for this. Thanks to a lot of donors, they could organize concerts in her home country. Floor is not the woman to leaf her fans drying in the wind. This was the last concert. Stay safe and sound. German greetings
Thank you for your honest opinion again. I was supposed to go their concert on November 23 in Amsterdam. Sadly it didn't happen due to another lockdown in The Netherlands. So hopefully next year. I have to say I've seen them before. Their concerts are wonderfull.

MARKO's voice is missing undoubtedly next to her and I also had in my mind The WACKEN 2013 concert in parallel to that of FLOOR and towards the same thing as you ..... mixing the events and with that it filled the space of the FLOOR recital.Beyond that she is a singing goddess ... I think I should have taken HENK POORT to that space designated by Marko ... or someone else ... for me ... so that emptiness is not noticed. The same FLOOR is a queen and sings like the gods ...... We all miss Marko, but...this "Marko" situation is taking sadly the same turn as it was with Tarja (this is getting Toxic)...I talked to some of my friends yesterday (soon to be Ex-friends, if this madness goes on long enough), and they are considering to quit listening Nightwish all together , because Marko is not there....WTF is wrong with everybody 😤. This is Marko's decision , and after 20 plus years of music with Nightwish , He deserves to have some "me time"....

Such stage presence, who cares what's going on behind her. For me, she is above anyone else in the music scene.
I saw some people complaining about her voice , guys although she's a Valkyrie she still is part mortal so she ages as we all, and so her voice, what I see is a very professional woman using her voice in the best way possible to please her fans, and because she loves what she does, be happy for her!! I was there, first row!! The band behind her is the Marcel Fisser band, the some one who was there on the Beste Zangers shows. It's a good band but they are not as forceful as Nightwish. She chose mostly 'medium-loud' songs, so not the really heavy ones. Some of them - like Nemo - were more or less turned into a ballad version.

We're kinda spoiled. Marco voiced a serious problem with the industry, the creativity-and-soul-crushing way the machine uses artists.
Been going on for generations and of course, some are always more effected than others.

Come Here to -as always- get an great emotional Reaction, and follow chatter and comments about Marco and so on- seems not legit after seeing your Mindset. Lady, you always remember me somewhat of Malificent( dunno the correct words- german, sorry)- Big Fassade, Lashes etc, but when it counts, you save the Girl and catch the Bolt. I feel with and for you.
Nightwish - i follow them since 1997, and after Tarja, well ok...got to get used to it, after anny, well wow. Troi- most adore him i dont, but the whole Concept, Tuomas Compositions, and how the Band- what ever Setup takes them on Record or even better on Stage, always enchant me. Dont let your Heart get to heavy about Setups, etc. Its like Life itself, ppl step in , and step out of your Journey, at the End its you that go the Distance. damn, i should learn better english, not even half the things i wanted to say to you i did get in right words. But hey, heads up , i for my part am just curious what rabbit they will pull out of the wonderZylinder , that is nightwish in their actual setup. Wish you the same .

Unfortunately Wembley in 9 days time has been put back a year.
I think this was done pretty well despite no Nightwish.
At the Marko bits I could see your distress and I know exactly how you feel. Floor does a great job, but without Marko? It's not the same.
Maybe, I hope, by today time Wembley happens next year, just maybe Marko may be back? Who knows - I can hope though.

Change is hard sometimes but it's inevitable . I think everyone misses Marco but it's good he seems to be recovering his health.
