One question please, you have a direct experience with this. What exactly do I need to do to check and to be 100% sure whether I have a real bang and olufsen sound system or just the standard one, because I suspect the previous owner has changed all the standard speaker trim covers to the ones with chrome circle bang and olufsen trim covers. I guess both of the systems sound great and I'm just so curious, but do not want to be fooled that way. Do I need to remove the covers and check the speakers itself or via vcds or via mmi. Is there any way to check it properly, sorry I'm new to this.
In "menu - media - sound" do you have the settings like DSP B&O, "all - driver" sound setting, surround, Gala PLus Do you have a box? and speakers on the rear deck?
+ZooClub200290 well its weird. The Vin number says it is an A4 Prestige model. All the research I've done says it has the same suspension and radio as the S-Line. Not sure cuz I'm new to Audi's. Have always wanted one and have 2 more days till I can pick it up. lol

I think the B&O sounds great but it needs a little extra bass. Your's sounds good, but the ones I've heard need more. Not like 2 12"s high school kind of bass, but maybe like one 8 or 10".
+Herps85 Yes it lacks a bit of low-level presence. I think that the subwoofer is misplaced. It would have been better at the spare wheel or else on the side like the Audi A3.
I agree and have heard that a subwoofer upgrade makes this system a 10/10 on quality. That being said, even stock I found it to be quite impressive. Also listened to the q5 version and when you turn up the subwoofer level, it's so loud it sounds aftermarket. Like 2 10's loud!

Cant wait to pick up my A4 Prestige next week (wish it was an A5 or S4 but oh well lol). It has the Bang & Olufsen.
