    I dedicate this post to all the haters out there. For starters, this is the earliest company in the audio video equipment market and royal status has only been theirs. Their innovation and design has always been ahead of the curve. Their engineering and ideas have always been admired by the Japanese, and everyone knows that the Japanese are the world's first in quality. All those manufacturers of equipment whom you, everyone you admire, their management at home had at least one device from B&O. Steve Jobs and such examples as he is many, borrowed ideas from them. There was such a notion: once you know at least one B&O device, all other devices will seem to be just a set of hardware and wires.
    Cheer Haters :) God bless You ALL! p.s. BANG & OLUFSEN was the best design and innovation company of the world !

    Love this! I am STILL enjoying my B&O Beomaster 6500 series receiver/cassette/CD stack. All built in November of 1990! Playing this through a new pair of Klipsch Forte' 4 speakers. U-Turn table / Cambridge Audio phono stage. This system still sings true today🙂!

    I love B&O. What I miss is that iconic end of the eighties series 7000. Great to see B&O making such great products again now a days. Both sound and design.

  • @garysmith8455
    @garysmith8455 Месяц назад

    May I also add, that when it came time to freshen up the 6500 series, the whole INTERIOR design makes it so easy to get around in, with the serviceman in mind! Changing powersupply caps on 35 year old B&O is a dream. Just two screws on the rear that you DO NOT have to remove completely to remove the cover.
    Not to mention that circuit boards are HINGE MOUNTED!, they swing up and out of the way, and there are built in PROP RODS to hold them there should you do any service work. Yes, forward thinking from back in the day.
    Finally, the ALL METAL chassis INSIDE the outer case is built VERY solidly and the weight of each component is surprisingly heavy given it's sleek and modern design. Anyone that owns the 5500 or newer versions later understand this. 👍

    I had to smile as the computer voice was talking about simplicity of design , while the video showed a record player with a super complex linear tracking tone arm. I have always respected this company but they are not bashful on pricing. I bought a phono cartridge in Singapore and an American store said he couldn't even buy one at that price from his wholesaler. nevertheless, a fine moving iron cartridge, although it required an adaptor for a normal arm , which I never really liked.

    All of this blah blah and not a single mention of one of the biggest contributions to audio ,ICE power. class D chip amps that are now ubiquitous. B & O is the height of snobbery, "James, put that in the (Rolls, Mercedes, Bentley, etc,) "Undeniably beautiful, but ridiculously priced. Put a store in right on Union Square in SF CA. I Applied for a job at their store in Walnut Creek, CA., about 20 yrs or so ago, and "They," wanted Me, to go out and find customers. So, that "They,"could profit from My efforts, and not the other way around. Only Co. worse is Bose. Status crap, but "reeel purty"

      B&O IS MUCH MORE THAN an audiophile product.
      You have to live with them to appreciate them.
      By the way, their tiny amps are stable down to 1 ohm!!
      I had a beomaster 6000 driving 6 pair of speakers in every corner of my house.
      Accessing the music with one touch of a button!!
      And that is 25 years ago!!
      For being there ;
      I go to a live concert often.
      Yes I have had my CJs and maggies, and my beogram 6000 with mmc1 contact line phone cartridge along with my Rega Plannar 3.
