The Resy credit is described as "Discover restaurants to love on your next trip. With your enrolled Card, you can earn statement credits per month on eligible purchases with U.S. Resy restaurants. Create a Resy account on Resy.com or on the Resy app to book a reservation". Currently on the Delta Platinum and Delta Reserve there is a Resy credit; $10 Resy credit and $20 Resy credit respectively. The Resy credit can be intimidating to use for some, and impossible for others. So I made this video to show all the different ways you can use the Resy credit and even some ways to use the Resy credit even if you don't live next to any Resy restaurants. So if you want to learn more about how to use the Resy credit, provided by American Express, this is the video for you!

I like stacking Uber ride credit with the Resy restaurant Im going to...especially if Im going to have a couple of beers or glasses of wine. Definitely more flexible than people think. Good stuff Calby.
Oh that's a good idea! So just to make sure I'm understanding correctly does the ride share credit work for Uber balance? I've heard some data points saying it only works for Lyft, but I haven't tested it yet. Thanks Jon!
@CalbyNg Yes it does. I will shoot you a DM later with a screen shot of last night's adventures. Heading to the gym now.
There are a couple great Resy restaurants near me that we go to frequently. That’s not even mentioning all the Resy restaurants available in places we travel to. I’m super hopeful that a Resy credit gets added to the Gold card soon, because it would be straight value to my pocket.
Ah, another foodie 😋 haha. Right! My experience at most Resy restaurants have been excellent especially their brunches; way better than the dining credit.
The US economy is a powerhouse with a diverse range of sectors. The stock market and the dollar have traditionally been safe havens due to their long-term growth and stability. However, potential downturns are part of the economic cycle, and laws are in place to manage defaults and asset seizures. Inflation can be a concern, but remember, certain assets like stocks and Crypto’s acts as a hedge. Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kerrie Farrell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape...
I appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the team behind Kerrie’s trade signal service...
The fact that i got to learn and earn from her program is everything to me think about it, it's a win win for both ways...
I've just looked up her full name on my browser and found her webpage without sweat, very much appreciate this...
This is exactly what Big time investors are talking about, not just you. key thing here is to always trades with a good strategy even if the price goes up or down...
Trading with an expert is the best strategy for beginners and busy investor s who have little or no time to monitor their trades..
Good stuff Calby. Especially giving those hacks next to a cop car - very gangster😂
Ha! Thanks Juan!! What are the cops gonna do? I didn’t break no lawzzz, it’s called a loophole 🤣
Welcome to Knoxville! Perfect timing on this video for me. I got the Delta Reserve last month and I had on my to do list to start using the Resy credit this week.
Thanks! Been pretty great so far; except I-40 haha. Nice! Congratz! Did you get the limited edition white Boeing design? Oooo so far I’ve liked The Plaid Apron; however, I’ve haven’t tried anywhere else yet. Well expect Token Game Tavern; which doesn’t really sell food.
Great tips! Thanks for the info + video!
Anytime Jimmy! Thanks for being here!
Consistently useful content. One of the better card RUclipsrs.
Appreciate it Frederic!
Love that intro haha! I see you are parked next to a cop 👀
Bojangles mannn 😂😂😂
Thanks man! Yep, that's the Amex police; Calby Ng running from the man 🏃
Hahaha you're favorite spot!
He’s probably using his resy credit card
Thank you Calby! It looks Resy is here to stay😂😂
Ha! No problem 👍 Especially after they took Tock away from Chase, haha
So you’re based in Knoxville? Good to know! I’m in Manchester but visiting Knoxville next week. I’m stuck with this useless Resy credit too..
Yep! Just moved here actually haha. Oh? I'm just curious wouldn't Nashville be close to you to use the Resy credit?
@@CalbyNg They’re an hour away. So maybe, when I happen to be there. But none of the Resy restaurants there are anywhere I’ve ever eaten. So we’ll see. Good video though!
Bojangles is good
Agreeeeed
Blink if you’re okay; I know Anthony can be quite scary
I dont live near a resy restaurant but im gonna find a spot in dc where i can stack e-gift cards and plan a date night.
Hopefully the nice spots sell e-gift cards
Heck yeah! There are a bunch of good options in DC; DC has to be by far my favorite place to eat. Even over New York City.
Calby Ng make a video that isn't amazing challenge(IMPOSSIBLE😱)
Ha! Thanks Ahmed 🤗

I don't understand, are you going to use the gift card or are you breaking even to get a Resy credit? That makes no sense. Why would you buy merch from a restaurant that you're not going to eat at?
I just eat at the restaurant and I use Skymiles Dining to find a restaurant that is in both Resy and Skymiles Dining and stack rewards that way.
Living in Miami there isn’t a shortage of Resy restaurants. My issue is finding one I want to go to. Went to one on Mother’s Day weekend and it left much to be desired. Not Resy’s fault but the other options are mostly in Miami Beach (no thanks), Midtown, Wynwood, areas I don’t frequent. I could make an effort to go because they do look like nice places but to have to do it every month seems a bit taxing. Good video though.
Oh for sure I can understand that; that really sucks. I would maybe stock up for a town you would be visiting anyways soon; always gotta eat, haha. Of course not the most ideal way to use it but maybe it’s something. You know I’ve actually heard a bunch of my Florida friends having trouble using the Resy credit which is interesting
👍🏼👍🏼
🙏
Living in Portland, there are few Resy restaurants plus they aren't the ones I am interested to visit. I prefer Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant restaurant monthly credit which I use with no restrictions.
Really?! Portland is a big city I’m surprised they wouldn’t have a bunch of options on Resy. Oh for sure way easier to use, but you know American Express is always going to push their own products haha
In the end you have to be close to a resy restaurant and plan on how to get these credits every month to make it work. Still not that practical to use.
Did you watch his video, dude? JFC.
@@fwoodbridge what do you think?? I just have a different point of view, these round about ways are just not practical in my opinion.
I'm not sure that buying things you normally wouldn't buy (i.e. - store merch) is the best way to use a RESY credit. If I wouldn't normally buy it, why should I now? I guess it's better than losing it altogether . . .
Oh for sure, most likely a terrible idea; however, I just wanted to mention it as an option since many people didn’t apply for the Delta cards as a foodie card. (I’ve met people who love to travel but don’t like food; it’s strange haha).
Bought a gift card on a toast pos. Coaded as tst on the credit card but have yet to get the credit and its been a week.
Which card did you use to buy the GC? I did the same with 2 credit cards (Delta Biz Platinum & Delta Biz Reserve). I only got the $20 credit on the Reserve but not the $10 credit on the Delta Platinum. I made sure both were Toast pos. It's been almost 2 weeks now and nothing on the Platinum credit.
I’m 2th!
2th place doesn't get jack! 😬
Resy credits 🤮….but thanks for showing me that it’s not as painful as I think it is.
Yeahhh man, haha. Tbh I like it better than the dining credit.
The problem with the Resy credit is that I only count it against the effective annual fee if you were going to eat at one without an Amex card. Resy restaurants are incredibly limited and fit a specific niche. If someone only dines out 2-3 times a month and is forcing themselves to use the $10 Resy credit every month, they are letting a credit card rule their lifestyle, potentially missing out on a lot of non-Resy restaurants they may prefer. Plus, the merch is useless if you weren't going to buy it without the Amex credit. This is just Amex's clever way to make you spend more money than you otherwise would, AND spend it in the way they dictate. For me, the Grubhub credit is a lot more flexible.
Resy credit is annoying AF. Who the FK in their right mind want to pay their meal with 24 $10 GC.
Oh for sure, honestly most Amex credits are annoying, haha. I’m pretty sure you can stack them though, I’m trying to figure that out now. Therefore you might can just use a single gift card.
The genius of this dumb credit is it is juuuuuuust obnoxious enough to throw your hands up with it. One reason I’m staying away from AmEx
Ha! For sure they want you to use the card at least once a month lol
First!
Beat me to it 😢
See, here's a winner 🥇
Don’t show up to a restaurant with 5+ $10 gift cards. That’s so much wasted time for the staff. If you came to my restaurant and did that we’d have a rule the next week two gift card max per table. Don’t make people’s life’s harder.
I for sure understand that sentiment Ian. I’m just curious as a restaurant owner would you mind if someone came in and bought a physical gift card and top it off every month? That’s what I’m currently doing at one of the restaurants near me; they don’t seem to mind but also maybe they are just being nice to me, haha.
Also for Toast I’m trying to figure out how to stack them (put all the funds on to one gift card); would you mind it if I did that?
@@CalbyNg the short answer would be no. The long answer would be I’m not the right person to ask, my “restaurant” is very untraditional and only open a few days a week, has very low cash flow so gift cards sometimes mess up the books bc you get the cash right away and when it’s redeemed maybe a year later you get nothing. I don’t make a lot of money and keep things very tight so sometimes gift cards bite me in the butt if I over spend. But I doubt that’s an issue in a volume/real restaurant, and was never something we worried about when I ran other people more real restaurants. We would definitely talk horribly about the human who redeemed 10 $10 gift cards tho 😂😂
