"Lock up your daughters, Jozef Fritzl" - Jozef Fritzl is a guy from Austria that famously was arrested and jailed for keeping his daughter locked in a basement for 24 years where he abused and raped her. Definitely not a cancelled author with controversial views.
"That's why you're running out of smoke like a contestant on Stars in their Eyes" - Stars in their Eyes was a show back in the day where people would go on and dress up like their favourite pop star and perform a song. When they came on stage, they would come out of a smoke filled doorway for the reveal.
Also 'The Two Ronnies' was a British television comedy sketch show from the 70's, starring Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett.

Wrote this seven months ago so I don't remember why I said that but I recall it being pretty easy to judge. Battles can be close but still pretty easy to judge. Don't have to be a body. I think I remember Shuffle just being more lethal than he normally is while Shotty seemed to want to play Shuffle's game a bit too much for my liking. @@chewwyc
Agreed. Clearly took the second, even without Shotty's choke imo and his 3rd was the best round of the battle by a mile. I could see a case for shotty in the first for sure, but for sure a clear win for shuffle

For, like, a decade. He was a monster.
He fathered the other (7) young girls with his own daughter (who he drugged and raped repeatedly) while she was locked up in the basement over a 24 year period. He told his wife his daughter had run away to join a cult

The set up and execution of the Mt Olympus bar zipped up that round and possibly the whole battle. Devastating.

I agree. Shuffle is next level. One of the best writers and performers in the world. People have never wanted to give him credit because he's an outsider to the scene but it was all there to see. Shotty was sick as well but I think anyone would have lost to shuffle on this level. Classic battle!

I wanted to see them react to Shuffle taking the L by Shotties own judges.
I think we all know the judging was bullshit, and maybe Avo and Illmac didn’t feel like stirring the pot. It would have been fun to see, but I understand if they cut it
they didn't even know the battle was judged lmao. Illmac said in a Watch from a few days later that Shuffle told him afterwards that it was a judged loss and Illmac's response was just 'LOL'

I saw the battle on ppv there was a small choke on shottys side edited out which tbh really solidified shuffles angle of the bias in the 1st round love both these rappers though just think if you stumble it should stay in to reflect the battle itself I can understand it’s not as entertaining with a stumble but with a battle this close it can really make a difference
A battle should be kept raw so people know when you fuck up

I get what Illmac was meaning but shuffle and marlo where a staple in don’t flop so that makes what shotty said even better he said staple in that scheme for a reason.
As far as the videography, why not film from both sides. Just make sure the performers know that the camera in the front is the priority, but you edit in footage from the crowd facing camera.

There wasn't enough emphasis in the critique on the superiority of Shotty's body language. I personally think that this battle went to Shuffle, because this is primarily about wordplay in my opinion not style.
Shuffle had the best execution of angles which gave him the edge, but this commentary slept on Shotty's presence.

what does 'superiority of body language' mean? They're both incredible performers, but part of Shuffle's performance is to be kinda awkward and unassuming because it feeds better into his material, whereas Shotty's very much loud and in your face because he's a much more aggressive battler. I didn't really feel like either of them did a better or worse job at conveying that with the way they carried themselves on stage
If you think Shuffle won, you need to rewatch this until you realize you’re as wrong as you possibly could be.
