This is brilliant. Shuffle had me SCREAMING with the phonecall to HR about his employment in Shotty’s graveyard. 12ish years into me following battle rap, I personally give so much credit to creativity in any form. This battle is legendary, and Shuffle vs. Shotty is a BOTY contender. There have been a few gems already in 2023.

These two are great, but you need to go back a bit further with DF and get some Definition, Tenchoo, Sensa, and O'Shea type of shit on here. For better or worse, those battles are fkn tight.
Neither have some of the GT battles tbf. Just think it would be funny to see these guy's reactions to Lunar C, Tenchoo, Def, those type of battlers. Even watching them try to decipher shit-show bad battles from that era like Sensa/Prince Kong or something like that would be interesting (or battles from when the first wave of US battlers started performing at events). The quality wasn't great, but DF was a much more interesting league at that time.

Ok. Have to say this. I love lush. But he’s annoying during this watch. It’s like he’s smack in this, paying attention to everything other than the golden comedy on the screen. We don’t care about their fashion sense or John cena. If you’re a real fan of battle rap comedy, use ur phone and look up the reference. This battle is one of the funniest of all time.

@@mattmeyers3088 Lush may know more about battle rap than anyone on Earth. What he needs to realize is “less is more.” He drops some jewels, but they’re not as impactful or memorable because he says SO MUCH on Watch that adds nothing. If he spoke 66% less, he’d be the best guest by far. But when only 1/3 of what you say adds something to the viewing experience, you need to be self-aware enough to limit your commentary to substantive, quality statements. He’s like battler with some drop bars but so much filler all their material runs together.
Turned off 5 minutes into this battle.. terrible smh
