OMG!!! Though I've heard these classic keboards before on various songs, I've never actually seen any of them up close untill now. Thank you so much Thomas for putting these ledgends through their paces once again. And many compliments on your very proficient keyboard abilities. Best Wishes.
Great SuperTramp to name a few Mr Crowley your list of Music Choices reflect True Rock Keyboard players Rick Wakeman ,and Keith Emerson would be very Happy At your Keyboard studio Keep it up Don’t stop playing ,The time for you to Shine is Now Rock the waves with your Melodic synth sounds From Chris McGregor A Keyboardist From Massachusetts USA
Not only have I heard so many wonderful melodies from bands I’ve loved, you’ve also shown me the six wives of Henry the viii which I’m now going to listen to on repeat! Wakeman is menace on the keys!!!
BRAVO, THOMAS !! !!! !! !!! !! !!! SUCH SWEET INSTRUMENTS & the MUSICIAN, WELL, AWESOME MIGHT COME CLOSE !! !!! !! !!! THANK YOU, BROTHER ......................... Then Play On !!! !! !!! !! !!! !! ..........................................
Traumhaft...bin zurück in meiner Jugend (heute 72). Compact-Phaser war 1974 mein erstes Effektgerät. Das Rhodes hat heute mein Sohn. Sehr gut gespielt und sattes Set!!! Danke!!!
When you started on CP70 I wondered how good it would be if he plays kansas live version of lonely wind and boooooom ....right on ... and after that Rick Wakeman .... the best medley of synth and keyboard songs in years . years man.. thank you.. and Rock ON.
WOW !!!!! You blew me away ...... I heard this song so many times in concert but when you hit that first key 🎹........ Mr Crowley came ALIVE !!!!!!! You gave me chills 😰😱 SOLIDE BRAVO 🤘
I became an early fan of synthesized music to the point of several partially successful builds. I was following the Don Lancaster Popular Electronics series in my high school electronics class (1975) involving DIY VCOs, VCAs, VCFs, etc. Still love music and am an extra Class ham too. KK6VDR.
Just stumbled upon this and I have to say Wow....! What an incredible 15 minutes of glorious vintage keyboard heaven! Bravo to you sir......a stunning performance!!
I haven’t had this much fun watching a video for some time. I think, partly, due to watching you enjoying it so much. Excellent and beautiful in every respect. Very happy for you. Thanks for sharing.
Super. Danke schön. A complete review of the most iconic keyboards through a bunch of no less iconic hits - it's a dream that lasted 15 min. I also discovered these marvelous machines (Taurus, Voyager). Impressive.
Bravo!! Bravo!! You definitely have the chops. When I heard Sheep from Animals wow! And Kansas, too! I knew there had to be Wakeman in there somewhere. It was great.
I heard a couple of flubbed notes and my God it is so nice to hear normal playing. I watch a ton of "perfect" videos, that in reflection were probably recorded several dozen times and only the flawless example is shown. It's really refreshing to hear someone play organically, without robotic precision, and yes, tap the G with a little finger when playing F. It really makes this human.
Thanks for inviting us on this little trip! You are certainly worthy of such a collection. And the updated Mellotron is the way to go; 1/5th the wieght, 1/3rd the cost, and it does not go out of tune every 5 minutes! Bravo!
Great gear, great playing and some sneaky songs in there. Saga Ice Nice was a pleasant surprise, I thought I recognized that. That Phaser on the String Machine was heaven!
Ertappt ;-).
I've whatched this video maybe 5 times or more, and in the last I watch you a friend of mine, and when the video its over Thomas says humbly "Thanks for your time" and my friend sayed to me "No no no my friend, thanks for YOUR time". Great video, Thomas, I hope that you made more video like these, stay safe and healthy. Greetings from Brazil
Amazing! Very talented. All my favorites and my favorite keyboardist RICK WAKEMAN. Thank you for the camera that shows us other keyboardists your playing. Great job! I had to subscribe. Don't want to miss a thing!
Great video, what a pleasure it is seeing some vintage keyboards played by a great musician! Excellent choice of vintage music also! Timeless! That B3 sounds fantastic!
Bodacious. It's as if Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman and Tony Banks just decided to jam. And then as if it needed more awesome, you sing my favorite Supertramp song. Awesomeness overload.
Fantastic Thomas! Great playing... and the SOUND of those old instruments, those gorgeous sounds, ay ay ay..... I'm revealing my age when I say that I know all the songs you were playing :-) Well done and thanks Thomas!

Mr. Crowley sounded awesome. I think it sounded even better than the original (mini moog + Roland rs-09)
Cheers!
In the original it was string synthesizer and Minimoog for bass, here he played two hands on strings (more polyphony), and bass played by feet
Not only a nice collection of keyboards but also an awesome composition of each instrument, hats off!
