On this channel you will find video clips of emergency vehicles (fire/rescue, ambulance, police) from around the world responding to calls with their warning lights and sirens.
Please note that all videos being posted on this channel have been made by myself!
Driving the rig was quite stressful in traffic. Did it for 22 years. Finally had enough and became a lieutenant. No more stress
Well done Sir.
My Grandfather was an engineer when he retired from service. He used to say you never realize how many idiots there are until you drive an engine.
I work in EMS and I cannot stand it when cars do not get out of the way. Bless you all in NYC who deal with that madness EVERYDAY.

I worked in a town that now has 8 stations. It is the law to yield to emergency vehicles. Most people are so courteous. I've seen dummies, but PD will pull you over and write you a very expensive ticket for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Dumb asses!
Couple years back I was visiting NYC and staying in a hotel not far from here. I took a picture infront of the door with the memorial and the chief opened the doors and chatted to me. Was really nice of him.
Maybe he recognized you from tv.
@@mondoseguendo6113 Maybe so!
Engine 54 lost 15 men 0n 9/11. God bless every one of these guys.

2:02 love it when sirens start like this and horn honks.
I am a Fire-Fighter from Austria. I saw that Video and was really shocked! No one cares, if the Fire-Trucks get out from the Fire-Home, cars standing and People get Photos. Unthinkable in our Cities!
I am the volunteer firefighter here, in The Czech republic and 100 % agree with my colleague from Austria.
@@valerija.legasov548 NYC is one of the worst cities to to be an firefighter in
@@chris52209 I am so sorry, I did not know... I am only greenhorn in the auxiliary fire brigade, so I have to learn a lot about firefighting abroad, because I am highly interested in Hope, You are doing well, brother!
Battalion 9 looks awesome, especially with the old rotating lights!
That thing is ugly as fuck. It reminded me of that clown car they had in Ghostbusters.

Lil' tip: when you see something big, red with sirens going off in front of you.... GTFO the street, someone might die because of you!!!!
Silvio Rispoli 👍Spot on! Sadly, way too many spongeheads don’t get that until it’s them who’re clinging onto life screaming and wondering why help is taking so long!
Well said, both of you. I could always rage if i see such ignorant people who give a fuck if there is someone needing help that gets delayed because of them.
Car drivers and pedestrians totally oblivious to what is going on around them , either that or they just don't care ! it is basic common sense to leave the area in front of the Fire House clear when you are sat in traffic.
Where I live now its a $1,000 fine and 6 points on drivers license if you don't move for them or let them by

Had met a Division Chief in Bermuda back in 2005...he was frustrated there were no good books in the lobby of the Pompano Beach Club we were staying at. I had a good one for him. Jokingly:, I said, "In return, I want you to hook me up on a ride-a-long in the City." About a month later, the phone rings at home...it was him. He'd done it! I rode out of this house for the weekend...awesome!
Battalion 9 is quite the old vehicle, most of FDNY battalion trucks are now Chevy Silverado. That's a 2000s Ford Excursion, and the's been out of production for the better part of 15 years. Pretty cool to see they still have those older trucks.
I love how the FDNY individualize their trucks with slogans and logos of their individual companies.
Fdny your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks to everyone who responds keep them safe out there job well done you should be proud stay safe and strong out there love respect and appreciate you guys thanks good catch as usual ! Joe

“NEVER MISSED A PERFORMANCE”. Love it 👍🏻
Damn, that Aerodync on that Battalion still put to work in 2018
Once again I apologize for all the people who were waiting hours for the video to come online. I have no idea why it didn't work, seems like there were some technical problems with youtube. Nevertheless it is now online so enjoy!
RUclips sucks a lot nowadays...
Excellent video, worth the wait. Thank You
@@mikeymcmikeface5599 Its not RUclips its the people.
Perhaps it's both.
Battalion 9, an old but beautiful unit! Fantastic catch, my friend!
I love to hear the NYFD sirens screaming through the busy traffic !! 😁✋👍
FDNY not NYFD
Some times I feel like fire trunks should have big plows in the front to plow through anyone that doesn't move out of the way... but then I realize that's counter productive...
Those big bumpers are made to push cars out of the way but most departments can get sued for doing it which is stupid
@@MrTenor-ch5gs Totally agree, like the life of another person is more important than some stupid person's decision to park it there
@@ariscottle3542 exactly and I know for a fact that every firefighter out there is right with you on that
Seeing these videos makes me so fucking glad I don't live in a city like this.
Firefighters. The only government service I don't have any complaints about.
Shouldn't have too many complaints about the drs that will eventually try to save your ungrateful ass either buddy
@@slotsjackpotking420 Doctors aren't government employees
Yeah I meant paramedics tbf not drs so to speak
In Munich, Germany, every fire station switches the traffic lights in the vicinity of the station one minute before the equipment leaves the station so that an unhampered start is possible. Think about it?
This is NYC, they don't have the mindset to think creatively like that. That would mean those in city government have some common sense, which is very VERY far from the case. NYC is run by absolute incompotent morons who couldn't pass a 3rd grade spelling test. I've been in places that have compotent city governments and the system you speak of is implemented there. The emergency service vehicles are all equipped with transponders that change traffic lights to enable faster response to emergencies. Plus most of the people in those said cities actually do what's legally required and move out of the way when emergency vehicles approach with lights and sirens. Not so in NYC, those idiots don't care and don't have enough brain cells to remember it's the law to move out of the way for emergency vehicles.
@@axysdnyd Munich and NYC are 2 completely different cities, something that may work in one city may not work in another
New York City is run by Democrats, so you know they are morons
Many cities have that, but in NYC alot of people don't care until they are the one's in need of them.
shitty design of the exit/entrance, they should have got a system installed that blocks traffic during the leave, very long response time indeed..
Maybe they can hire you as a You Tube consultant!
@@azul8811 maybe they should. >10 years experience in emergency service so I didn't just made the comment
@@PatOutdoorify I see. Have you ever driven in Midtown Manhattan?
Patrick de Flandre its NYC dude!!!!!!!! That won’t stop anyone. And I doubt your in emergency services
Very long! 3 minuts to get out? Wtf
That was a LONG time to respond from the Station. My Department expects my crew and I to be rolling out the door within 80 seconds of the tones sounding. They keep track of all our calls, and rarely are we able to do it. 120-130 seconds is the norm for us.
New York City man
That was really a long Time......
I don't get it. Name another gov agency that responds to a citizens request for service in 130 seconds after receiving the call for service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't complain about that. And yet firehouses in big cities are closing due to lack of interest in funding the FD on the part of the TAX PAYING citizenry. You guys complain about so called long response times but don't complain when new yearly budgets include firehouse closures. WHY???
Stfu you big baby.

Amen. All Firefighter's I know respect NY FD members.
That Battalion was really nice considering its old and still runs today
edit: I remember hearing those sirens on 9/11. Such a miserable day
I have to ask what is wrong with all these people standing around and the vehicles in the way do they not comprehend what's going on irritating good luck to you brothers and sisters having to put up with that
Jackie--have u ever been to NYC??.This about average for the stations in Manhatten
Just blast’em with the wailer, they’ll move.
That's just NY for ya. I used to drive a semi truck out there sometimes and I can't tell you how many times I almost plowed through idiots that just pull right out in front of big hard to stop vehicals and sit there.
Welcome to New York

I have the best job in the world for 25 years. I was happy to be a lieutenant. I took the best care of my man they could and they are my brothers to this day. Unfortunately my career ended early thanks to non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Mi raccomando... con "calma"! Ai miei tempi, al Comando di Torino, eravamo già "usciti" 2 volte!!!
I recommend ... with "calm"! In my time, at the Turin Command (Italy), we had already "gone out" 2 times !!
MY FAVORITE HOUSE IS BACK!!!
Very slow to leave - 2m30s!! Chalking around casually. In the UK they would be half way to the incident by then.
Just an FDNY thing. Most departments are out of the house in a minute, minute and a half at night.
I love the USA
You've never responded to the same fire alarm 3 times that day, huh?
Ahm, no they wouldn't. Rather calm and collected than hasty and then fuck it up.
@noobishsite fuck you
Driver of Battalion 9 smoking a cigar is the best part
glad someone else seen that, a old school cat.
God Bless you ... is not a show ... it is A question of lives ... saving lives ...

Good looking rig FDNY

1:18 I love that lightbar...
Nice
In Poland everybody who watch fire engine machine fucks up where the pepper grows please see yourself in youtube. This is amazing work. Fire fighter is a heroes!
They have some beautiful rigs
That's cool seeing them leave the fire station like that with sirens , lights flashing & horns a blazing !!!
I"am Your Newest Subscriber Great Videos
Who the hell would ever wanna live in a place like this.
1:48 Wtf, everyone just keeps going even though the fire trucks obviously have to get going!?
The PA300 in the battalion 9. I like that higher pitched pa300 over the lower pitched pa300 on fdny trucks
I hear what you're saying, but you did not understand my initial comment. I was not bitching about their Response Time (the time it takes to arrive at the call), I was bitchin' about their TURNOUT time (the time it takes to leave the Hall after the tones are sounded).
Love that ladder truck! That thing's an absolute monster!
Man... When those two fire engines took off with their sirens and lights going fast down street with that Arab Indian guy looking down street at them on sidewalk got me emotional thinking of that dreaded day in New York... Fdny... Strong ass men and women firefighters.. they all are everywhere...🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😟😢😭🚨🚨🚒🚒🚒🗽🌐.
I love how people just ignore the bell and just keep walking in front of the bay doors.
It’s just ignorant
@@MrTenor-ch5gs Nah not ignorance, it's oh I want to get a picture/video/autograph while this happens.
Amazing how people just act as if nothing is going on and cars barely move when the lights and sirens are blasting
I visited this station last month whilst on holiday in new york. I'm from UK fire service!
The Autist Over Two Minutes to turn out 🤷🏼♂️ Nearly as slow as Soho
RUB1 Tan So glad you’re not a first responder. If you were, we would all be doomed
Sergeant 1384 You think a two minute turn out time is the Norm ? Over Two minutes to get out the Doors is shocking
@@rub1tan679 Please tell us. Where do you work?
azul8811 Put it this way , I’m more than Qualified to comment on how slow their turnout was 🤷🏼♂️
Kinda erie watching these videos on 9/11... I remember seeing those images and sounds on that infamous day. To all emergency services, Thank You.
SON UNOS HEROES ESTOS HOMBRES LITERAL.
Can anyone tell me why they carry hard suction lines? I would think there would be plenty of municipal water available, are these guys drafting outta the Hudson?
Very nice Trucks and Video!
I thought the idea was to respond as fast as possible not just stroll around. The time it took to turn out they could have been a mile down the road.
Ladder 4 with a PA300 ? wooooow cool, but they have the EQ2B as well?
Yep indeed Ladder 4 don't respond often with PA300
Chief got the cigar
Anyone know what kind of Grover horns they are? Sound badass.
I know that’s an older battalion but are those led light in that old light bar ?
nope. LED bulbs don't work too well in rotator lights that are not designed for them. poor light projection, poor brightness in what fits in the bar.
Do they always go so slow getting ready to leave?
THE PA300 IS BACK BABY!
My favorite siren
They should have arms the come down just like the railroads blocking the side walk so no one can cross when the station pull out love the unique code 3 of new York
One of the oldest fire houses in New York City
WHEN PEOPLE DONT MOVE I HOPE IT THERE HOME OR FAMILY MEMBER , I HAVE A FAMILY OF EX FIREMEN AND LIKE THEY SAY EVERY MIN AND SEC COUNTS ON SOME CALLS
Only I comment ram the idiots
Everyone just mills around in front of the vehicles about to respond
You should see the response that full fledged fires get. People will swarm around as smoke fills the air and water is going everywhere.
Wide eyed kid : Do they pay you to sleep?
Fire Fighter: They pay us to be ready!
Maybe they don’t leave until there is a bigger audience ?
Nice the ladder 4 did a PA-300!
LMAO the pedestrians couldn't give a f**k plus this looks like some kind of training exercise, as they weren't rushing
Darn taxi in the way of battalion 9 New York Traffic at it's best
Between their calm and the traffic don't expect them any time soon.
What camera is this? Great video!!
Don't rush guys the fire will be out by the time you get your asses in gear, that has to be the slowest turn out ever.
Love it when the doors go up .Haw meny ppl just walking here before thay are able to pull out though
What i never researched is why the old FDNY chiefs had these double lightbars in the back. Someone able to explain?
Christmas trees save lives. The more visibility the better.
FABULOUS !!!!
I wonder how many FD related accidents there are with other vehicles there. Man is that traffic thick
Who stands around like this and watches fire trucks respond to something around the firehouse? We don't do that in my town!!!!
I still miss old E54
I do too! It was a unique rig! Loved the horn on it as well and the PA300 it had was one of the most aggresive
Yeah if I was driving one of those, I would be losing my mind with that traffic.
Proud For These Life Saving Fire Department
I love the truck siren at 2:16
I assume from their lack of speed that they were not first due on this run.
Why does that chief vehicle need 3 light bars on the top of it...
I love how ladder 4 has a PA300
They seem very slow to get out of the fire station
Even with TWO LIGHTBARS they won’t let him out 😆😆
Parr stocks had the same thing happen 40years ago, doors closed as appliance was leaving the station .
Sweet! I'm still trying catch my first house with a battalion!
great work
Have to go slow there since nobody seems to really want to stop or get out of the way
have to go slow there since nobody seems to reallynwant
May god bless them all🙏🏼
The cars see it as more of a importance to start moving when a firetruck passes instead of being patient and waiting for the next one
Did that guy really just stick a cigar in his mouth, that's funny.
I thought 4 truck had a proper siren, not that whistly thing.
Oh take your sweet time I'll just be burning in the building when you actually decide to get in the truck and start heading this way!
Blame the traffic, nobody there seemed to care, cars just driving by and people walking in front of them.
313DETROIT first truck left after 2 minutes. You know how little time that actually is? Especially considering traffic. Let’s see you get up from a sleep or sitting down run out get dressed start you car open the garage and get out onto the street in less time than that.
They were blocked in by a taxi they can't go through it
New York fire department seems to be the slowest getting out of the house.
You can thank the citizens of NYC for that.
They really need to install fire signals to stop traffic when equipment needs to enter or exit. (With random NYPD officers doing circuits to issue $5,000 tickets for failure to yield to a fire signal.) The only way to get through to NYC drivers - ESPECIALLY cab drivers - is to hit 'em in the wallet!
