- This is an amazing dish, TORTITAS DE POLLO EN SALSA ROJA is so delicious and easy to prepare. These chicken Patties are seasoned to perfection with plenty of onions, garlic and paprika and the SALSA is outstanding and bursting with flavor, the Smokey chipotle peppers in adobo sauce takes it to a whole new level. The melted cheese is so hearty. I love to prepare simple easy meals and I want them to be hearty, and this dish is all of that. My ARROZ BLANCO MEXICANO is the perfect side dish, and I love to serve this dish with corn tortillas. I hope you get to try this recipe. ❤️

1/4 piece small onion
1 large garlic clove
Salt
1 celery rib

3 large eggs (you can add more If to dry)
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Inion powder
2 Tbsp All purpose flour
Salt (to your liking)
Pepper (to your liking)
1/4 C. Canola oil
SALSA INGREDIENTS __________
6 Roma Tomatoes
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 small onion
2 large garlic cloves
2 Chipotle peppers (canned)
3 Tbsp Adobo sauce (canned)
1 Tbsp chicken boullion
1/4 C. Chopped cilantro
3/4 C. Julienned onions
2 Tbsp canola oil or other

I didn't have any chicken, but I made the sauce because the sauce looked soooo good and I have been pouring that sauce on eggs, fajitas and eating it with fried tortillas like crazy! I will make the proper recipe soon because I ordered chicken and mozzarella cheese from the store!!!

My family often had salmon patties on Fridays and during Lent. I don't care for salmon. Then my daughter-in-law taught me to make them with tuna, same ingredients, using tuna instead of salmon. Now I can make tortitas with chicken, same ingredients using chicken! Thank you!

I just love everything you make. I lost my mom when I was 18 years old. She used to cut potatoes into round like coins and fry the potatoes in a skillet on the stove. I remember her adding some water and milk I believe and seasonings. Not sure if she added cheese or if it was flour but it would be like a white gravy. I have tried to recreate this dish and have always failed. Just wandering if you have ever had this. If so if you could share the recipe. I just loved it.

This dish is delicious, you need to be very careful not to over cook your chicken...you can also use chicken thighs (very moist). You can do it, follow recipe carefully. ❤

I don’t know if this works but I saw this somewhere (maybe ATK?): put the cooked chicken in a bowl and use your hand mixer to shred. I’m going to try it because I’m not too good at shredding chicken either. 😎
