Great video! I wanted to add that Jotaro's character was heavily inspired by Clint Eastwood and his many roles as a stoic yet noble hero. Of course, being a punching ghost-summoning teenager is a trait on it's own.
Watching you jam to the theme and dissect it and how it works is so much fun. Seeing a non-anime fan react to anime themes is so much fun, especially reacting to a series like JJBA which has a TON of influence from the music that the creator Hirohiko Araki was listening to while creating it.
JJBA's soundtrack is absolutely littered with callbacks and leitmotifs, the Joestar Family Bloodline being an integral part of the story (all the main characters are related). I'm having a real blast listening to these reactions and analyses. Given that the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series was this channel's first introduction to anime, I'd love to see The Daily Doug visit the very first season of JoJo's and take a look at the season 1 theme, "Sono Chi no Sadame" by Hiroaki TOMMY Tominaga to see how strong this show went right from the get-go hahaha. It's an iconic track.
Hey Doug. If you would like to check out a lot more relaxing side of anime soundtracks, I would recommend 'Mangetsu no Dolce' (The sweetness of a full moon) from the series 'Aria the animation'. Here's a link: ruclips.net/video/kKlpvt81rdw/видео.html It's a beautiful piano and cello instrumental piece.
If you like JoJo's vibe and music, i would strongly recommend checking out music from the heavily anime inspired video game series "Persona." I would specifically suggest Persona 5, but any of Shoji Meguro's tracks from the series is very well made

Need more gaming and anime Doug breakdowns.
Since you're a classical composer, "Il mare eterno nella mia anima" is a JoJo song that might be of big interesting to you. It's more Italian Opera than anything and it's a beautiful song.
Tank is amazing, but Bad Dog No Biscuits is my favorite track from cowboy bebop!
You should react to "Bloody stream" from jojos
I'm having a real blast listening to these reactions and analyses. Given that the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series was this channel's first introduction to anime, I'd love to see The Daily Doug visit the very first season of JoJo's and take a look at the season 1 theme, "Sono Chi no Sadame" by Hiroaki TOMMY Tominaga to see how strong this show went right from the get-go hahaha. It's an iconic track.
this theme song is even better when you associate it with what happens in the anime lol
Hunter x Hunter and Attack on Titan both have incredible OSTs if you’re ever interested in more anime music.
I just saw you already had listened to AOT in the past, my bad
I think both of those pale in comparison to the JJBA osts, but that’s just my opinion.
@@CobbleBompsteri wasn’t trying to make a comparaison between them, just sharing some that I also really love
Please react to "Clock Works" It's one of the theme of the protagonist in Stone Ocean, it's magnificent !
Doug you would love the Lupin the Third soundtrack especially many versions of Zenigata March
Want another JoJo theme to examine later? Check out Yoshikage Kira's.
That was really good. Next you really need to do "Avalon" from Part 2.
I want to see Doug do The Shaggs. My pal's name is foot foot.
If you like JoJo's vibe and music, i would strongly recommend checking out music from the heavily anime inspired video game series "Persona." I would specifically suggest Persona 5, but any of Shoji Meguro's tracks from the series is very well made
Gotta react to all the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Opening and Ending songs someday. They're all so good
8:17 Ok, here we go again… So there’s this rich family in the 9th century called the Joestars, right?
It feels strange to hear this theme without the continuous 'ora ora' screamed over it but great choice of review this week
YEAH thanks
Please check out anything from the Hunter x Hunter anime soundtrack, like Kingdom of Predators, Theme of Kage Rasetsu or Hyori Ittai.
Anime again! 😄This one is a great one, for sure!
