As both a writer and an artist, jojo is a massive creative inspiration for me. Not just because of the quality of both the anime and manga, but because of the creator of jojo, Araki himself. Outside of being massively talented, the man has been pushing himself to not only improve as a creative, but to constantly try new things, take risks, and go in directions beyond everyone's expectations. And after 40+ years in the industry the man just finished part 8 and is going right into part 9 and shows no signs of stopping. So yea, if you're thinking about watching jojo I'd go for it. It's a blast.

Honestly for the most part I could take either, but theres just some things in the manga that hit different. The fight between Caesar and Whamu was so tightly paced in the manga, with full page illustrations. And the fight with Kira got full illustrations to and that was so god damn hype
My dude, you'd love Jojo so much, I think. It's so good. It tells the story of the Joestar Family, a line of people blessed with natural talent for supernatural combat, who fight off supernatural threats of varying types that threaten their home, the world, or their loved ones. It's one of the series that really, like, helped propel the Shonen manga genre, alongside like Fist of the North Star, Saint Seiya... One of the OG. And it's STILL GOING today, just having finished Part 8, which took 10 years to complete. The anime is really well done, too. Highly suggested.
I highkey hate (and lowkey love) how good the intros are. Like, beyond the amazing songs, animation, and their pretty unique changes to reflect key points in the show itself, the intros are So apt to whats going on. Part 1 is very "must defeat evil," and the intro reflects that. Part 2 Jojo is a very not-so-serious guy that gets his ass in gear, and the intro reflects that. Part 3 has stakes, and you really feel that in the intros. PART MOTHERFUCKIN FOUR starts as a Goddamn slice of life, and the intro, with its bright colors, casual poses, upbeat music, and non-concrete visual composition, matches that PERFECTLY. And when things get serious in part 4? Muted colors and a minor key. Whoever was in charge of the direction in the intros needs an award NOW.
@@Mattyiceee yes please react to the endings! I think jojo videos usually do quite well (atleast I've seen people channels gain a lot of attention from jojo videos and the views are usually pretty high) so here are some other videos you might want to react to! there's 1 second from every jojo episode, the two second version, every jojo theme, every jojo villian theme, and even every jobro theme! the music in the actual show is also fire, especially part 2 because half the fucking soundtrack for part 2 is just fuckin dubstep
So just to be clear, JoJo refrence is a reference in other anime/manga/games/shows and etc that have something related to JoJo, like stands, poses, signs, characters and etc. Why so? JoJo's Bizzare Adventure pretty old, its 35 y.o rn and only 2 years younger than DB. So, just for example in HxH there's Hisoka who acts and looks just like Dio from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, you'll get what I mean. Or Shaman King, Death Note that took much from JoJo's and did almost their own thing. That's pretty much about any anime, cuz we all know a lot of anime have DB like power system and other 50% will goes to JoJo's with characters, some plot moments, memes and etc. Yeah. Also fun fact most JoJo openings reaction can get 1 millions+ views. For ex. DeanBarry Movie Reviews And Stuff or Don Townsend, they have 1kk+ views, I hope for you to get such statistic, have a nice day.
@@sckemicals4439 Just compare their fits, their hair style. Also write Red haired Dio in your browser and then look how Hisoka doing kinda Kishibe Rohan pose. A to be clear, look how Hisoka and Dio share org*sm face. They are the same but Dio appeared in 80s.
Because Araki is such a music nerd, every Jojo arc uses a different music style, from classical, to jazz funk, to 80's music, to 90's, to alt rock ( stone ocean). Also stand's name. After the first ones ( using tarot names) they all become music and band names...
@@InfinityDBL David Productions have mentioned on more than one account communicating with Araki for creative input, such as colors (as basically the only canon color in JoJo is Dio Brando having Golden Hair), and musical suggestion. From what I remember, the Outros are chosen from the music Araki was listening to at the time, or at least, the genre he listened to with the part he was on. For example, for Part 5, Araki wanted some kind of Gangster Rap for the outro, but they ended up with Freek'n You, which was aptly fitting, as one of the Members of Jodeci is literally called JoJo.
I dont understand why people hate op 6 so much... The song fits the theme perfectly, the song slaps and it has very good animation. I literally don't see a bad aspect
I always thought Chase was a really good OP and fit Part 4 really well. It's not my favourite but it really nails the tone for the part of the show it plays in. If it were an OP for Part 3 or 5 I'd understand disliking it, but some people just really hate J-rock in any context lol
All three OPs are perfect for their arc of Josuke's story. Bizzare Town lets us know right away that this ain't the Epic Globetrotter Part 3 was; it tells us we're in for an upbeat slice-of-life high school shonen romp, where people get into schoolyard-esque fights but then get to be friends after. Chase tells us the fun's over, and things are getting rougher as the sleepy town's Dark Secret emerges to lay a decades-old murder mystery in front of the crew. Breakdown is the light at the end of the tunnel, showing off the struggle between a town united to serve justice and the killer Kira, Kira's renewed hold on them as it gets dragged backwards to status quo (though not without still-forwards moments to show us that not even his power can free him from Justice itself), and then one last forward-play as Morioh prevails once and for all.
They also have a few intros where they have the sound effects, like the punching sounds, wooshing, zipper sounds, everything. It sounds sick af. Some frames change too i think
I have never seen such a perceptive person in my entire life. He noticed things that even I did not notice (considering I have rewatched the openings a million times even after finishing the anime). At this point I can’t even tell if this is a blessing or a curse since you are indeed perceptive but it also made you receive a ton of spoilers that normally people don’t get lol.
Dude, this guy is so perceptive. Like he solved the stand powers of the world and killer queen BTD, and ended up figuring out diavolo's nationality from the openings alone.
Why does Mattyice look like a real life Pocoloco For context: Pocoloco is character from Part 7 Steel Ball Run who has incredible luck and has the stand Hey Ya whose ability is to boost Pocoloco's confidence.

Ngl this is one of the most satisfying reactions I've ever seen. Your perceptiveness but also your enjoyment of the music and visuals was really nice to watch :)
just wanted to say thank you for separating the intro and the reaction because my attention span is absolute garbage (I have adhd) and it was really nice to just get straight to the reaction before I get distracted while either watching the intro or trying to find the reaction
First of all great reaction lol you’re gonna get lots of views on Jojo reactions cause the fans are really dedicated :D you actually guessed a lot of things right but I won’t say which ones cause spoilers. Also street fighter was inspired by Jojo not the other way round, the manga has been around since 1987 and is still ongoing. Every season has a different art style and a new “Jojo” but they are all related to each other, it’s the story of the fate of the Joestar family. Season 6 (the one that’s gonna be released in December) is basically the finale to all that. Part 7 and 8 and 9 (which will soon start) take place in a different universe. Jojo has been very influential and famous in Japan. It’s definitely fun, entertaining and flamboyant but very self aware, some of Araki’s (the creator of Jojo) artwork has been in the Louvre in Paris and Jojo has been collaborating with designers such as Gucci too. All memes and references aside, I really recommend watching/reading it as it is really like no other anime/manga/media :) A couple of reaction suggestions if you liked reacting to the openings: - 1 second of every Jojo episode (If you felt intrigued by that, there is also a 2 second version of it with different clips) - Jojo themes of all the main Jojos - The ending songs (as a music lover you’d probably like that and maybe even recognize some songs)
the best thing about jojo is that when you rewatch the openings after finishing the anime, you can recognise alot of the events that take place in the later episodes which we couldnt have known when we first watched them
Maaan I do love your energy! As a music fan myself, it's always so delightful to find people that appreciate songs like this! I don't know if somebody mentioned it already, but the author is the biggest fan of music out there, and that's reflected on characters, stands, situations, and the anime staff had him pitching in for openings and endings as well!
Your reaction made me smile for real. I love how observant you are and noticed things that took me awhile to be like "oh snap. This spoiler was right in my face." I love Jojo. That show never fails to get me hyped. I bet you'll like watching it.
Well, this anime is living up to its name where craziest insanities in other animes are normal in this anime. Many things you will find weird(well, what do you expect afterall) but it kinda make sense in context(not really, trust me). This anime was taken in different times and different places. Also, the benefits on reacting and loving Jojo is you will gain many views and subs because once you embrace Jojo, we will accept you as a part of the community or "family' (as long you don't skip parts and also be nice, friendly to everyone).
Here's what the dude was saying in Italian: Nessuno puo sfuggire al destino scelto Rimane solo il risultato che voi sarete distrutti L'eterna cima esiste solo per me Puoi cantare canzoni di trestezza nel mondo senza tempo

Honestly for the most part I could take either, but theres just some things in the manga that hit different. The fight between Caesar and Whamu was so tightly paced in the manga, with full page illustrations. And the fight with Kira got full illustrations to and that was so god damn hype
Part 1, 2 ,3 are pretty good but 4 and beyond are SO much better.
Nah ima anime enjoyer

Like "ooooo you weren't supposed to see that"
My dude, you'd love Jojo so much, I think.
And its confirmed that there will be a part 9!
@@dearlordylord8822 Infinite Jojo parts
Yep, and part 6 is coming out this December with Jolyne Cujoh, the daughter of Jotaro Kujo, as the main protagonist!
@@dearlordylord8822 bro he's a vampire that somehow uses hamon, this guy is 60 or some and looks fine like old wine WTF
@10:42
"the other guy turned into whips, am i tripping?"

It is the most addicting anime. It's funny and has great story. Possibly one of the greatest animes of all time

One of the best reactions I've actually seen! If you have time you should definitely react to the endings next. Promise you wouldn't be disappointed.
Honestly want to at this point, did not know it was that hyped
@@Mattyiceee you 100% should react to the endings as well, you'll be surprised!
@@Mattyiceee watch part 6 theme! Its mostly fanmade. But they use what they revealed on the part 6 anime announcement
@@Mattyiceee the endings r fire and u will be surprised what the first one is lol
For ex.
DeanBarry Movie Reviews And Stuff or Don Townsend, they have 1kk+ views, I hope for you to get such statistic, have a nice day.
theres no way that hisoka acts and looks like dio
hisoka gets turned on by little boys with potential and looks like a magician
Hisoka and Dio? You high?

@@sckemicals4439 Just compare their fits, their hair style. Also write Red haired Dio in your browser and then look how Hisoka doing kinda Kishibe Rohan pose. A to be clear, look how Hisoka and Dio share org*sm face. They are the same but Dio appeared in 80s.
i love how pretty much every jojo opening has a different theme like every single one sounds so damn different its amazing
Because Araki is such a music nerd, every Jojo arc uses a different music style, from classical, to jazz funk, to 80's music, to 90's, to alt rock ( stone ocean). Also stand's name. After the first ones ( using tarot names) they all become music and band names...
@@Sorcerer86pt araki isn't involved with the anime >:
@@InfinityDBL David Productions have mentioned on more than one account communicating with Araki for creative input, such as colors (as basically the only canon color in JoJo is Dio Brando having Golden Hair), and musical suggestion. From what I remember, the Outros are chosen from the music Araki was listening to at the time, or at least, the genre he listened to with the part he was on.
For example, for Part 5, Araki wanted some kind of Gangster Rap for the outro, but they ended up with Freek'n You, which was aptly fitting, as one of the Members of Jodeci is literally called JoJo.
Bruh that part two intro still gives me chills TO THIS DAY!

I don't think anyone hates it, it's just probably the weakest Jojo OP. It's still like a solid 7-8/10.
@@Pr0fridge both great days and crazy noisy bizarre town are weaker than chase
I actually really loved it but part 2 op is hands down a first for me, with part 3 op 1 and part 4 op 1 being a very close second
They also have a few intros where they have the sound effects, like the punching sounds, wooshing, zipper sounds, everything. It sounds sick af. Some frames change too i think
I think those could be the last of each op, I feel like it's always the last episode where that happens
Oh so I wasn't crazy when I suddenly heard the sfx so clearly huh
The bloody stream reaction is exactly what I thought lmao it was such a great curveball

Stands are a physical manifestation of your fighting spirit or soul. So yep, a Stand can be anything! And I mean ANYTHING.
And nearly anything can have a stand
It's like the SCP series
All memes and references aside, I really recommend watching/reading it as it is really like no other anime/manga/media :)
A couple of reaction suggestions if you liked reacting to the openings:
- 1 second of every Jojo episode
(If you felt intrigued by that, there is also a 2 second version of it with different clips)
- Jojo themes of all the main Jojos
- The ending songs (as a music lover you’d probably like that and maybe even recognize some songs)
Jojo.png
My only suggestion to add is if he listens to JoJo Themes, be sure it isn't a video with clips, just a solid image, or it might have spoilers :)
20:55 is that the son or something
Joseph: maybe...
I’ve never felt so much excitement watching someone discover how absolutely FIRE JJBA and its opening are 😭😭
the best thing about jojo is that when you rewatch the openings after finishing the anime, you can recognise alot of the events that take place in the later episodes which we couldnt have known when we first watched them
I just finished the anime myself and about to move to the manga
You won’t regret it. JoJo by far has become one of my favorite anime
I just recently got into Jojo myself and K binged all 5 parts in a month. I really recommend it is soooo good. I loved it.
The fact that this guy literally understood everything from just the opening
Your reaction made me smile for real. I love how observant you are and noticed things that took me awhile to be like "oh snap. This spoiler was right in my face." I love Jojo. That show never fails to get me hyped. I bet you'll like watching it.
"So a stand can be anything?"
Oh just wait until part 7 and especially 8
Well, this anime is living up to its name where craziest insanities in other animes are normal in this anime.
Many things you will find weird(well, what do you expect afterall) but it kinda make sense in context(not really, trust me).
This anime was taken in different times and different places. Also, the benefits on reacting and loving Jojo is you will gain many views and subs because once you embrace Jojo, we will accept you as a part of the community or "family' (as long you don't skip parts and also be nice, friendly to everyone).
just if you wanna know about your theory in 18:29
in seasons 2,5 and 6 there is a item to seek out but in all other seasons, no
I've seen a lot of jojo's op reaction but this is absolutely the best, you have put more focus in it than anyone else, great job
