Those "powers" that appear next to the characters are called Stands. They're the manifestation of the person's soul. They can look like anything, and have different kinds of powers, but there are some rules to them: Only Stand users can see Stands (unless the Stand is linked to an object) and only Stands can interact with other Stands (again, unless they're linked to objects, like some of the Stands in the series). And since they're a person's soul, whatever happens to the Stand, happens to the person (with some exceptions, depending on the type of Stand)

I came to Jojo for the memes but stayed for the bizarre adventure. It honestly is one of the best decisions I ever made. The poses, the stands, the sheer insanity, etc.
The "Dudes" Behind their backs are called "Stands" Basically a manifestation of their souls, they have all kinds of crazy powers and shit, but from parts 1 to 2, they use Hamon, which basically require breathing to work
Jojos is probably one of the most unique stories I’ve ever experienced. Everything about it shouldn’t work but the mangakas style and passion gives the series a soul and creates its on style. It’s not for everyone but it is quite an experience.
Love seeing White Snake in the thumbnail, one of my favorite stands. It's the black and white executioner guy behind you in the pic in case you didn't know lol
Also I don’t know if anyone said but Lucky Land Communications is the legal entity that owns Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure that’s is basically just Hirohiko Araki’s legal claim to own the copyright separate from Shueisha, the company that publishes Jump comics that the series gets published in
The Kakyoin cherry scene is a iconic scene...cant wait for SBR to come out, im never gonna skip the its op and will happily play it over and over again
Don't worry about stuff too much. Jojo is flamboyant as fuck, and appreciating beautiful characters despite gender is absolutely fine. After a while EVERYONE kind of falls into that mindset. Like when I was reading the manga for that last opening, I wasn't really sure how I felt about it. Now part of it has been animated holy fuck Jolyne. I'm not even orientated that way. I think I struggle with the lack of semi-realistic strong female protagonists. Same reason why Ellen Ripley has been my favourite protag for ages.
Jojo has some really masculine men that wear almost nothing, or effeminate men that are more man than you'll ever be. It's such a weird contrast but the series is really good. Season 3 has a cheesey "blowjob" scene where one guy gets his face stuck between another guys leg and they were really embarassed because people were watching (totally innocent, I think it was one guy trying to help the other but from the onlookers perspective it looked bad.) In Season 5 there are two gay villians that have center stage for two episodes. I think the worst you see is them cuddling on a roof and one touches the others chest. Hope this helps @Drazu
Jojo is the one anime that makes you say the weirdest shit out of context: “Thank God, the Nazis are here.” “Leave that Baby in the dessert!” “Behold the power of GRAVITY! S-H-I-T!” “Ha! Can’t fish for a heart that stopped beating, can you?”
The thing with JoJo's Bizarre Adventures is that it's composed of multiple "Parts", with each Part being basically a separate story with its own characters and themes. Here's how many OP each Part got: Part 1: 1 Part 2: 1 Part 3: 2 (the second OP got a variation for the last few episodes) Part 4: 3 (1st OP also got an EDM remix, while the 3rd OP got three different variations) Part 5: 2 (second OP has 3 variations) Part 6: 1 so far. Also, starting from Part 3 onwards, pretty much all characters have a "Stand" - a super-powered spirit that they can summon, control, and use to fight against other spirits. The catch is that, if a Stand is wounded, the user gets the same wound - and vice-versa.
Trust me mate, you’re in for a Bizzare Time & it’ll be amazing. A few things to note: the spirits beside them are Stands/basically guardian spirits, the Intros that get messed up are the Villains powers, & Openings in Parts 3-5 are my favorite.
I was a little put off by the "crossdressing" statement and other red flags so I'm not sure what to think this guy. Guys can indeed wear and act how they want.
If this is giving u street fighter vibes specially from second opening, street fighter got inspiration from jojos and some other games and animes too, and if you combined all the chapter of jojos its way more than one piece's chapter its just that the anime is well paced, And personally i love this anime, at first i was like "this not it bro", but when i kept going i really started to love it. Edit: 7:25 they got the desgin of ryu from this street fighter got from this character(my fav btw)
@@Votalta it's not hated people just don't like the fact it is the one that spoils the most and it's the easiest to get the spoilers from. Probably why it's not included on the video(somehow they all watch the same video)

Alright, I love this guy already His cadence and the way he says things reminds me so much of CoryKenshin, which is always appreciated, especially here at 1:12
Explaining it in case no one else in the comments has explained it yet: The reason why the early openings had 3D models is because there was a 3D fighting game for Jojo released before the modern anime adaptation and the studio was able to get permission to use the 3D models from the fighting game for the openings. At least that's the answer as far as I can remember.
Straight up- Watch Jojos, every season is a new JoJo and a new adventure. But the vibes and the attitude? You’ll see it and you’ll feel it. And you’ll get it.
That metal guy is called a "silver chariot" and the one controlling is that funny french dude with a strange haircut called "Jean Pierre Polnareff" he'll play a key roll throughout the Parts
oh my gosh i LOVE your energy, man! I understand your anxiety towards the franchise, it's hard to approach something that is as hyped up as Jojos has become. The first few episodes were a bit of a drag my first time through, but it picks up really quick. The metal stand you like, is one of the stands that is named after the seventh Major Arcana. This stand is called Silver Chariot. Silver Chariot is one of the fasted stands we have seen. The Stands in part 3 are named after the Major Arcana and Egyptian Deities, save a few. These few, and any introduced in part 4 onward, reference Western, European and very rarely Eastern pop culture. So, to give context to the powers, from part 3 onward, most powers take the form as what is called a Stand. Someone or something with a stand is referred to as a Stand User. A stand is a... literal fighting spirit. There are a few ways to OBTAIN a Stand. Prior to part 7, some people are born with Stands, most of these Stand users will need to be pierced past the skin with a 'Stand Arrow', some Stand Users won't need the arrow in order to unlock their stand. The origins of the arrows are part of the overall plot so I wont note them down here. It is also possible to become so skilled at something, that your skill manifests as a Stand, and that Stands ability will heavily relate to that skill. To put this in perspective, one would need an almost superhuman level of skill to attain a stand. Those are, essentially the only real rules when it comes to Stands. Most other rules that are established don't matter and are broken by at least a few stands. I hope this hasn't been an overwhelming amount of information to you, Stands are not an easy thing to really explain briefly.

In Season 5 there are two gay villians that have center stage for two episodes. I think the worst you see is them cuddling on a roof and one touches the others chest.
Hope this helps @Drazu
The fact that they can just rewind an opening and still have it make sense to the story
Jojo is the one anime that makes you say the weirdest shit out of context:
“Thank God, the Nazis are here.”
“Leave that Baby in the dessert!”
“Behold the power of GRAVITY! S-H-I-T!”
“Ha! Can’t fish for a heart that stopped beating, can you?”
The thing with JoJo's Bizarre Adventures is that it's composed of multiple "Parts", with each Part being basically a separate story with its own characters and themes. Here's how many OP each Part got:
Part 1: 1
Part 2: 1
Part 3: 2 (the second OP got a variation for the last few episodes)
Part 4: 3 (1st OP also got an EDM remix, while the 3rd OP got three different variations)
Part 5: 2 (second OP has 3 variations)
Part 6: 1 so far.
Also, starting from Part 3 onwards, pretty much all characters have a "Stand" - a super-powered spirit that they can summon, control, and use to fight against other spirits. The catch is that, if a Stand is wounded, the user gets the same wound - and vice-versa.
Part 6 have 2 opening, both of them have two variations
The main villains fucking with the intro is one of the best parts
thinking jolyne had her hand in her pants is so ironic lol
Trust me mate, you’re in for a Bizzare Time & it’ll be amazing. A few things to note: the spirits beside them are Stands/basically guardian spirits, the Intros that get messed up are the Villains powers, & Openings in Parts 3-5 are my favorite.
I was a little put off by the "crossdressing" statement and other red flags so I'm not sure what to think this guy. Guys can indeed wear and act how they want.
Agreed
3D is just for opening. The show is in 2D style and they are awesome and colorful. "Chase" is my favorite Jojo theme song as well.
"That metal guy with the sword is my favorite" Congrats on being one of 6 Polnareff fans :3
nah I'm right here. Polnareff is my absolute favorite stardust crusader
Bro looking like SlimDP445 in the thumbnail
just a reminder that there are extended versions of all of the songs ;)
also op 12 has 2 other versions
Also, only the OPs are in 3D/CG, so you don't got to worry about the show being CG if that's what you're worried about.
19:16 ah yes, that's the "oh no, I'm gonna have to watch this show" look
If this is giving u street fighter vibes specially from second opening, street fighter got inspiration from jojos and some other games and animes too, and if you combined all the chapter of jojos its way more than one piece's chapter its just that the anime is well paced, And personally i love this anime, at first i was like "this not it bro", but when i kept going i really started to love it.
Edit: 7:25 they got the desgin of ryu from this street fighter got from this character(my fav btw)
After I watched JOJO I told my best friends I loved them because I had truly understood the true meaning of brotherhood 😢
19:36 That voice crack got me rolling 🤣
An epic video tho!
My guy got traumatized by kakyoin agresively licking a cherry
Jojos really cool for its art style It's incredibly unique.
Finally someone appreciates Chase as much as it deserves! 😌
Glad you like this masterpiece, hope you get into it and react to the episodes
There are 2 or 3 more versions to traitor's requiem(op 12) and the last one is just amazing
Yeah it’s hated for no reason
@@Votalta it's not hated people just don't like the fact it is the one that spoils the most and it's the easiest to get the spoilers from. Probably why it's not included on the video(somehow they all watch the same video)
Berserk had trash CGI JoJo has really good CGI in the openings.
That sound you were talking about in the first opening is just backup singers saying "Jojo"
The backward intro was because of one thier powers messing it up
Finally a fellow chase enjoyer
The openings change based on the story. You gotta watch to understand then you’ll think the openings with the alterations are that much more fire! They’re also missing 2 openings as well. Probably the best 2 visually for plot reasons
Alright, I love this guy already
His cadence and the way he says things reminds me so much of CoryKenshin, which is always appreciated, especially here at 1:12
Looking back at the video after you finished part 6 hits different
Explaining it in case no one else in the comments has explained it yet: The reason why the early openings had 3D models is because there was a 3D fighting game for Jojo released before the modern anime adaptation and the studio was able to get permission to use the 3D models from the fighting game for the openings. At least that's the answer as far as I can remember.
And Jojo is god tier with openings and music bro just listen to Kakyoin Theme its the theme song from the guy with the cherry lmfaooo
I am currently on part 4 but I LOVE this show and can't wait for the next parts up ahead.
Straight up-
Watch Jojos, every season is a new JoJo and a new adventure.
But the vibes and the attitude? You’ll see it and you’ll feel it. And you’ll get it.
1:03 gave me Solluminati vibes again “I’m scared”
Cuz I knew it was fake
Hiew knew it
19:19 ohhh he lookin at us now 👀
Hey, you’re actually fun to listen to aside from just the reactions, well done man
That metal guy is called a "silver chariot" and the one controlling is that funny french dude with a strange haircut called "Jean Pierre Polnareff" he'll play a key roll throughout the Parts
BAHHA YOU ARE SO ENTERTAINING I WAS HONESTLY SMILING THE WHOLE TIME I WATCHED 😭😭
oh my gosh i LOVE your energy, man!
I hope this hasn't been an overwhelming amount of information to you, Stands are not an easy thing to really explain briefly.
i was like that too for the first time of 3d animated of jojo then i got used to it then it's one of my favorites now
Amazing reactions man it's hard to not smile when you get so pumped
Finally someone who loves Chase as much as I do.
This dude emits different energy when he listens to openings, I love it
2:30 ayooo dingle you got a new sussy member to join😂😂
Ong New member
Glad to have to Welcomed Drazu😂
When you were talking about a clip I thought you were talking about the episode in part 3 where Joseph and Avdol got magnetized together 😂😂
9:30 You sound like the kid in the dub of Ghost Stories
I noted that most jojo fans don't rate chase however when a person who never watched the show listens for the first time they enjoy it
Honestly jojo is gonna me a very big mark in my life when I started watching jojo I was watching demon slayer I didn’t wanna watch it because of the art style and I was scared I was gonna like it over demon slayer and I don’t regret it jojo is one of the best things that have happened to me I found almost everything I needed to find but the only thing I couldn’t find was the person who asked….
28:05 you're never gonna believe this, but this is actually an important plot point.
No, I refuse to further elaborate
Yeah, a chunk of JoJo’s opening themes are cg animated, but the actual episodes are drawn.
"This is probably the worst one yet"
*allow us to rewind it for you* lol 😆
- Is that a person or a power?
- Yes
